CITY OF DELANO ORDINANCE NUMBER 0-12-01AMENDING ORDINANCE EXTENDING TERMS OF EXPIRING BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, COMMITTEES, AND TASK FORCES,SECTION 204.01 THRU 212.01
WHEREAS, Chapter 2 of the City of Delano Code regulates the Operations and Administration of the City of Delano; and
WHEREAS, Sections 204.01 thru 212.01, regulates and defines the various Boards, Commissions, Committees, and Task Forces of the City of Delano; and
WHEREAS, Sections 205.01, Subd 3, states that Planning Commission terms expire on December 31 of each and that members hold office until their successors are appointed and qualified; and
WHEREAS, Section 206.01, Subd 3 states that Delano Water, Light, and Power Commission members are appointed for three year terms and each member shall hold office until a successor has been appointed and qualified; and
WHEREAS, the Delano City Council deems that terms for Park and Recreation Advisory Commission, Public Safety Commission, Historic Preservation Commission and any other Commissions, Committees, or Task Forces as may exist or be created by the City Council shall be appointed for three years terms and that members shall hold office until their successors are appointed and qualified.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE DELANO CITY COUNCIL that all Boards, Commission, Committees, and Task Forces terms be extended to clarify that all terms that currently expire on December 31, of each year will be extended to, at a minimum, February 28, (29), of the following year and that the current member shall hold office until their successor is appointed and qualified.
THIS ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL THIS 7TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 2012.

ORDINANCE NO. O-12-03
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DELANO ZONING ORDINANCE ADDRESSING METAL ROOFING AND FAÇADE STANDARDS IN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF DELANO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELANO ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 51.03, Subd. C.3.e. 2) c) of the Delano Zoning Ordinance, Building Type and Construction for Industrial Buildings, is hereby amended to read as follows:
c) The following metals are prohibited as façade materials:
(1) Any metal roof that has exposed fasteners, semi-concealed fasteners on a façade, or any fastener system that does not adhere directly to the support system; except in the case that the metal roof or façade is not visible from the adjoining public street.
(2) Any metal that is not a high-quality commercial thickness/weight (for example, the minimum for architectural steel panels is .024 thickness, architectural aluminum panels is .032 thickness and architectural copper panels is sixteen (16) ounce sheets, and the equivalent in other metals).
(3) Any metal that has not been treated with a factory applied color coating system against any applicable degradation listed above.
THIS AMENDMENT SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ITS PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION
