Notice of testing of optical scan voting systemTownship Elections: Collinwood, Dassel, Ellsworth, Forest Prairie and Litchfield
Notice is hereby given that the Townships of Collinwood, Dassel, Ellsworth, Forest Prairie and Litchfield shall perform a public accuracy test of the optical scan voting system to be used for the Township Elections on March 13th, 2012.
The test will be conducted at the Meeker County Courthouse in the City of Litchfield, Minnesota, on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend and observe. If you have questions, please call the Auditor’s Office at 320-693-5212.

DASSEL TOWNSHIPNOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETINGAND ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Dassel Township, County of Meeker, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Board of Canvass and Annual Town meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012.
In care of inclement weather the meeting and election will be postponed until the third Tuesday of March. Election poll hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The annualmeeting will commence at 8:151 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.
The Annual Election and meeting will be held at the Dassel History Center, 901 1st Street N., Dassel, MN.

COLLINWOOD TOWNSHIPNOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETINGAND ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Collinwood Township residents are hereby notified that the Annual Election of Town Officers and the Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. The election poll hours are from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at which time the qualified voters will elect one supervisor for a three year term and a clerk for a two year term. The candidates are: David Prieve for Supervisor and Larry Ostlund for Clerk.
Absentee voting will be open from February 10 through March 12, and absentee ballots are available from the Township Clerk (320-286-2393). Clerk’s office will be open on Mar 10 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon for absentee voting.
Both the election and annual meeting will be held at the Collinwood Township Hall. The Board of Canvass will meet immediately after the election closes to certify the official election results. Then the annual meeting will begin at 8:05 P.M. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.
A bad weather alternate date is March 20, with the same hours as stated above.

FRENCH LAKE TOWNSHIPNOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETINGANDELECTION OF OFFICERS
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of French Lake Township, State of MN, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tues. March 13th, 2012. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tues. in March.
The Election Poll hours will be open from 10 am to 8 pm at which time the voters will elect:
One Supervisor - three year term
One Clerk - two year term
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8 pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. The Annual Election and Meeting will be held at the French Lake Township Hall located at 3133 County Road 3 NW, Annandale.

COKATO TOWNSHIPNOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING, ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND BOARD OF CANVASS
Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Cokato Township, County of Wright, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.
The Election Poll hours will be from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at which time the voters will elect:
one(1) Supervisor 3 year term
one(1) Clerk 2 year term
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:05 PM to conduct all necessary business as prescribed by law. The Board of Canvass will meet immediately after the Annual Meeting.
The Annual Election and Meeting will be held at the Cokato Township Hall, 14987 - 30th ST SW.

Public HearingLot Split for at 525 East Cokato Street
Notice is hereby given the Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 to consider an application from State Bank of Cokato (Daniels Restaurant) for a lot split at 525 East Cokato Street to allow land sale to Cokato Charitable Trust for additional employee and guest parking.
Persons wishing to be heard regarding the application will have an opportunity to do so at the public hearing.
