Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for The City of Darwin shall meet on Tuesday April 3, at 7:00 p.m. at the Darwin City Hall located at 305 E. Curran Street. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.

ON DESCENT OF PROPERTY
A Petition for Determination of Descent has been filed with this Court. The Petition represents that the Decedent died more than three years ago, leaving property in Minnesota and requests the probate of Decedent’s last Will, if any, and the descent of such property be determined and assigned by this Court to the persons entitled to the property.
Any objections to the Petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper, and no objections are filed or raised, the Petition may be granted.
Notice is further given, that the Petition will be heard on May 1, 2012 at 9:00 (a.m.) by this Court at Wright County Courthouse, Ten Second Street NW, Buffalo, Minnesota.
(1) Notice shall be given to all interested persons (Minn. Stat. 524.1401) and persons who have filed a demand for notice pursuant to Minn. Stat. 524.3204.

ELECTION RESULTS
The results for the March 13, 2012 Stockholm Township elections are as follows; Andrew Engh was written in for the 3 year Supervisor term with 33 votes. Jody Selseth was written in for the 2 year Clerk position with 58 votes.
With regards to the ballot question posed to the residents, the current 3 Supervisor Board will be moving to a 5 Supervisor Board at the March 2013 election. This question passed with 52 Yes votes and 44 No votes.
The Re-Organizational Meeting for Stockholm Township will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 6:30 pm at the Stockholm Community Center, 16233 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN.

ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTES
Stockholm Township is now accepting Gravel Quotes for the 2012-2013 season. The quotes should reflect pricing for approximately 4500 yards of Class 5 Gravel. Stockholm holds the right to inspect gravel before hauling. Stockholm Township has the right to refuse any and all quotes.
All quotes must be submitted in writing by mail to the Clerk, Jody Selseth, at Stockholm Township, 15234 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN 55321 by 5:00 pm on Monday, April 30th, 2012.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stockholm Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Stockholm Community Center, 16233 County Road 30 S.W., Cokato, Minnesota. The purpose of this hearing shall be to consider the adoption of an Ordinance which ordinance will amend the Township’s Zoning Ordinance by the adoption by reference of the Wright County Zoning Ordinance. The proposed Ordinance text is as follows:

STOCKHOLM TOWNSHIP
WRIGHT COUNTY MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING STOCKHOLM TOWNSHIP’S COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE ADOPTED JUNE 22, 1992 AS STOCKHOLM TOWNSHIP ORDINANCE NO. 92-1 BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE WRIGHT COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE
Stockholm Township ordains as follows:
Section 1 Amendment. The Township’s Ordinance Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance 92-1 (“Ord. 92-1) is amended by the adoption by reference of the Wright County Zoning Ordinance (the “WCZO”). The WCZO is hereby incorporated in this Ordinance as if fully set out herein.
Section 2 Conflicts. In the event any conflict in the terms, conditions and/or standards between Ord. 92-1 and the WCZO, the WCZO provision(s) shall prevail.
Section 3 WCZO on File. A full and complete copy of the WCZO is on file and available for public inspection and review at the office of the Stockholm Township Clerk at 16233 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN 55321. The WCZO is also available for viewing on-line at stockholmtwp@gmail.com.
Section 4 Effective Date of Ordinance. This Ordinance is effective upon its adoption and publication according to law.
All persons desiring to make comments will be heard at the public hearing. Also written comments received by the Town Clerk prior to 5:00 p.m. on April 2, 2012 will also be considered.

Stockholm Township is now accepting quotes for Lawn Maintenance (including mowing and all weed trimming) of the Stockholm Township Cemetery and the Stockholm Community Center.
The quotes can be shown as a “per time” rate and/or total cost for the mowing season. All quotes must be submitted in writing by mail to the Clerk, Jody Selseth, Stockholm Township, 15234 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN by 5:00 pm on Friday, April 6, 2012.
