WRIGHT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT
THE WRIGHT COUNTY WATER SURFACE USE ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners, during its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 22, 2012, at 9:30 A.M., will hold a public hearing to consider adopting the Wright County Water Surface Use Ordinance. This consideration and discussion will take place in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
The Wright County Board of Commissioners will be reviewing and discussing the proposed adoption of a Water Surface Use Ordinance. This new proposed ordinance will place restrictions on the operation of watercraft and seaplanes on lakes located in Wright County. The restrictions will also create no-wake zones and/or high water no-wake zones on Cedar Lake, East and West Lake Sylvia, Howard Lake, and Lake Ann. Violation of the ordinance is a misdemeanor where the maximum penalty could be 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.

Request for Proposals
Notice is hereby given that Wright County will receive sealed proposals for Group Life, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability Insurance according to written specificatioins and conditions. Proposals shall be submitted in the form and manner contained in the specifications.
Proposals must be received in the County’s Administration Office no later than Monday, August 27, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. A sealed copy of all quotations should also be sent to Ochs, Inc., agent of record. No formal opening of proposals will occur.
The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make an award which is deemed most favorable and advantageous to the employees and the County regardless of whether or not such quotation is lowest.
