NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing will be held by the Winsted City Council on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 201-1st Street North, to consider an Ordinance of the City of Winsted, Minnesota annexing land located in Winsted Township, McLeod County, Minnesota pursuant to Minnesota Statutes § 414.033 subdivision 2(3), permitting annexation by ordinance.
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §414.033, Subd. 2b, before a municipality may adopt an ordinance under subdivision 2, clause (2), (3), or (4), a municipality must hold a public hearing and give thirty (30) days written notice by certified mail to the town or towns affected by the proposed ordinance and to all landowners within and contiguous to the area to be annexed.
The property petitioning for annexation is described in an attachment. A copy of the attachment may be obtained at Winsted City Hall, 201 – 1st Street North, Winsted, Minnesota 55395 or by calling (320) 485-2366. It may be known as the property in which an addition to Millerbernd Manufacturing is taking place and where ground storage currently exists.
