RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals for the work described below will be received at the Office of the City Administrator, City of Dassel, 460 3rd Street, Dassel, MN 55325 until 10:00 a.m. on April 25, 2013 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately:
2,200 LF 8” PVC Sanitary Sewer
110 SY Concrete Driveway Pavement
1,060 LF 6” – 8” PVC Watermain
1,200 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter
895 LF 12” – 24” R C Stormsewer
1 LS Construct Lift Station
3,400 CY Aggregate Base, CL.5
1 LS Lift Station Abandonment
2,350 Ton Bituminous Surfacing
1 LS Pump & Control Replacement
together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. “This project includes funding from the Public Facilities Authority. State and Federal Prevailing Wage requirements shall apply.”
COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be complete by June 15, 2014.

BID SECURITY: A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Dassel shall accompany each bid.
OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.

Notice is hereby given, that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the Township of Dassel in Meeker County, Minnesota, will meet on Thursday the 25th day of April, 2013 at 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Dassel History Center, 901 1st Street N, Dassel, Minnesota.The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns.If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after conferring with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization.The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary and shall correct it as needed.Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to your county board of appeal and equalization.
No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.

ASSESSMENT NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the CITY OF COKATO of Wright County, Minnesota, will meet at the Office of the Clerk in said City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, the 2nd day of May, 2013 for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said City for the year, 2013. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting, and show cause of having such assessment corrected.

Notice is given that on June 10, 2013, at 9:00 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at Ten Second Street NW, Room 201, Buffalo, Minnesota, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Will of the Decedent dated, March 28, 1991, and codicil dated May 22, 2001, and seperate writing under Minn. Stat. 524.2-513 (“Will”), and for the appointment of Vernon R. Beckala, whose address is 13661 17th Street SW, Cokato, MN, 55321 as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration.
Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed, the personal representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minn. Stat. 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

RESOLUTION
Amendment to Water and Sewer Utility Rate Ordinance
Be It Resolved by the City Council that the Utility Rates shall be amended and effective April 1, 2013 as follows:
Water
Base Rate $27.00 per month, $324.00 per year
Water No Meter: $38.25 per month
Meter Use Rate:
1-3000 gallons $3.75
3,001 – 10,000 gallons $4.68
10,001 – 50,000 gallons $5.85
50,001 – Total Used gallons $7.67
High Volume User Rate: 10 times the Base Rate plus the Meter Use Rate for the first 500,000 gallons usage and 25% or the Meter Use Rate for usage over 500,000 gallons per month.
Sewer
Base Rate $16.00 per month, $192.00 per year
Sewer No Meter: $30.25
Meter Use Rate:
1 – 3000 gallons $4.75
3001 – 10,000 gallons $5.85
10,001 – 50,000 gallons $6.95
50,001 – Total used gallons $8.25
Base Rates shall apply to each individual residential unit including rentals, commercial, public, and industrial accounts as well as any other types of accounts as deemed necessary.
This Ordinance shall be come effective upon adoption and publication.
