RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals for the work described below will be received at the Office of the City Administrator, City of Dassel, 460 3rd Street, Dassel, MN 55325 until 10:00 a.m. on April 25, 2013 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately:
2,200 LF 8” PVC Sanitary Sewer
110 SY Concrete Driveway Pavement
1,060 LF 6” – 8” PVC Watermain
1,200 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter
895 LF 12” – 24” R C Stormsewer
1 LS Construct Lift Station
3,400 CY Aggregate Base, CL.5
1 LS Lift Station Abandonment
2,350 Ton Bituminous Surfacing
1 LS Pump & Control Replacement
together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. “This project includes funding from the Public Facilities Authority. State and Federal Prevailing Wage requirements shall apply.”
COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be complete by June 15, 2014.
PLANHOLDERS LIST, ADDENDUMS AND BID TABULATION: The planholders list, addendums and bid tabulation will be available on-line at www.bolton-menk.com. Any addendums will be mailed or faxed to all planholders.

BID SECURITY: A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Dassel shall accompany each bid.
OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Cokato, Wright County, Minnesota requests sealed bids for the purchased with trade of a 1999 John Deere 544 for:
One (1) New or Demo 2013 (High Lift)
Pay Wheel Loader (160 to 170 HP)
Specifications and proposal forms may be obtained from City of Cokato, PO Box 1030, 255 Broadway Ave. South, Cokato, MN 55321. Sealed bids will be accepted until 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 8th, 2013 at the City Hall where they will be publicly opened. Each bid must be on the proposal form furnished by the City. Bids will be considered and other action taken as necessary at the City Council meeting on Monday, May 13th, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the City Hall.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in the bid and further reserves the right to award the bid in the best interest of the City of Cokato.

TOWNSHIP OF COLLINWOOD
Notice is hereby given, that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the Township of Collinwood in Meeker County, Minnesota, will meet at the Town Hall, 21904 746th Avenue, Dassel, Minnesota at 7:00-7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, the 24th day of April, 2013 for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said township for the year 2013.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after conferring with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to your county board of appeal and adjustment.
