PUBLIC NOTICE
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, in accordance with the Lester Prairie Municipal Code, Section 5.1 Zoning, and Section 5.1.13 Changes and Amendments, that the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on April 2nd, 2013 at 7:15 p.m. in city hall.
The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding the rezoning of property. The property is located within the City limits of Lester Prairie.
The zoning would change from an R-1 District for single and two family dwellings to B-1 Business District.
The rezoning request is to allow construction of a 48’ x 88’ building to be used as a shop for a business.
The property is located at the southwest intersection of Elm Street North and Lincoln Avenue. The current legal description of the property is: Lots 18 & 19 of the Auditor’s Plat 2-116-27. The property is currently owned by Tom Westrup and Jackels & Ross Concrete Inc. is considering the purchase of said property. All persons desiring to be heard will be given an opportunity to address the Planning & Zoning Commission.
