NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the County Engineer of Wright County, Minnesota at the office of the County Engineer until 11:00 a.m. CST, Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Wright County Public Works Building, 1901 Highway 25 North, Buffalo, MN 55313 and will be publicly opened and read at said time and place by the Wright County Engineer. Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities:

Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.

“It is hereby agreed between the parties that this agency will require Affirmative Action requirements be met by contractors in relation to Minnesota Statute 363A.36 and Minnesota Rules 5000.3600. Failure by a contractor to implement an Affirmative Action Plan or make a Good Faith Effort shall result in revocation of its Certificate or revocation of the Contract. (Minnesota Statute 363A.36, Subd. 2 and 3).”
A minimum goal of 5.6% Good Faith Effort to be subcontracted to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.

Bids will only be accepted from Contractors who purchase digital or paper Bidding Documents as specified above.
No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Wright County Board of Commissioners and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier’s check, or certified check, or bid bond made payable to Wright County for five percent (5%) of the amount bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required bond.
No bids may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of bids. Wright County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
