ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
REPAIR OF COUNTY DITCH 10
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received for repair work to be performed on County Ditch 10, located in the southwest portion of Wright County. The Wright County Board of Commissioners, as the Drainage Authority for County Ditch 10, has approved of the repair work to be performed and has had repair specifications prepared by Wenck Associates, Inc. The repair work will include tree clearing, vegetation and brush removal, ditch reshaping, repair of washout areas, site restoration and erosion control.
Interested bidders may request a copy of the bid package, plans, specifications and proposal forms by contacting Bryce W. Cruey, P.E. of Wenck Associates, Inc. at (763) 479-4200 or bcruey@wenck.com. There is a $65.00 non-refundable fee for each bid package. The bid package is also available for examination at the Wenck Associates, Inc. Office, 1800 Pioneer Creek Center, Maple Plain, MN 55359
Said bids will be received until 9:30 A.M. on October 8, 2013 at the Office of the Wright County Auditor-Treasurer, Room 230, Wright County Government Center, 10 2nd Street N.W., Buffalo, MN 55313, and the bids will be opened and presented to the Wright County Board of Commissioners at 9:30 A.M. that day at its regular meeting.
Bids must be in writing and shall be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Ditch 10 Repair Bid”. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a cashier’s check or money order made payable to Wright County in the amount of 5 % of the total bid amount. Bids may not be withdrawn by the bidder for a period of thirty (30) calendar days following the bid opening. Bid security amounts submitted will be returned once the bid has been awarded.
The successful bidder may be required to provide a performance and payment bond to the County in the amount of the bid, as per the terms of Minnesota Statutes, Section 574.26.
The Wright County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in bids submitted, and to waive minor irregularities or discrepancies in bidding procedures.

THE WRIGHT COUNTY
TOBACCO ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners, during its regular meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, will consider amending the Wright County Tobacco Ordinance. This consideration and discussion will take place in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
The Wright County Tobacco Ordinance regulates the sale, possession and use of tobacco and tobacco related devices in the County and is designed to reduce the illegal sale, possession and use of such items to and by minors. The proposed amendments would clarify the Ordinance and its application to e-cigarettes and other nicotine delivery devices.
