PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Howard Lake Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing in regards to 825 7th Avenue. The hearing will be to hear a rezoning request from property owner to rezone from R1 Single Family Traditional to a Planned Unit Development to allow for three separate dwelling units on the property.
Citizens will be provided the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations who are unable to attend may contact the city administrator’s office or submit written comment prior to the hearing.
The Planning Commission will hold this public hearing on December 3, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Howard Lake City Hall located 625 8th Avenue.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER
Bacteriological Monitoring Requirements Not Met
The Howard Lake public water supply is required by Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4720 to regularly submit water samples to be analyzed for coliform bacteria. The required sampling was not done during September, 2013. Because we did not monitor during the compliance period, we do not know whether coliform bacteria were present in your drinking water, so we are unable to tell whether your health was at risk during that time.
What does this mean to me?
This is not an emergency. You do not need to boil water or use an alternative source of water at this time.
If you have questions or comments about these violations, please contact Tom at (320) 543-2318.
Please share this information with all other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools and businesses).
