FOR PRIMARY ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Delano City Clerk will hold a Public Accuracy Test on the M100 Vote Tabulator on Friday, August 08, 2014, at 10:00 am at City Hall, 234 2nd Street North, Delano. The public is invited to attend.

City of Loretto
Notice of Filing Dates for Municipal Election
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the dates for filing affidavits of candidacy for the City of Loretto, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, for the following offices to be voted for at the November 4, 2014 General Election will be from July 30 through August 12, 2014:
Mayor – Two-year term
Two Council Positions – Four-year terms each
Loretto residents wishing to file may do so at Loretto City Hall, 279 N. Medina Street, Suite 260 during regular office hours of 8:00 a.m to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
The final day to file will be Tuesday, August 12 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The filing fee is $2.00.

CITY OF DELANO
NOTICE OF FILING FOR THE NOVEMBER ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to those persons who wish to file for the office of City Council to be voted on in the City Election on November 4, 2014 should file with the Office of the City Clerk such intentions and pay the regular filing fee of $2.
The first day of filing is Tuesday, July 29, 2014, opening time 7:30 am. The last day of filing is Tuesday, August 12, 2014 closing time 5:00 pm.
The following will be voted on:
Mayor (4-year term)
Two City Council Members (4-year terms)
The terms of Mayor Dale Graunke will expire December 31, 2014, and City Council Members Dan Vick and Derek Schansberg will expire December 31, 2014. Those elected on November 4th will begin their duties the first business day of 2015 and continue through the last business day of December 2018.

TO THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF DELANO IN THE COUNTY OF WRIGHT, STATE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that absentee voting for the State Primary Election of August 12, 2014, and General Election of November 4, 20014, will be held for the electors of the City of Delano, Wright County, Minnesota, beginning on
Friday, June 27, 2014, through August 11, 2014 for the State Primary Election of August 12, 2014,
and
Friday, September 19, 2014, through Monday, November 3, 2014 for the State General Election of November 4, 2014.
at Delano City Hall, 234 – 2nd Street North. PO Box 108, Delano. MN 55328 during the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
And
Saturday, August 9, 2014, 10:00 am to 3:00 p.m. for the State Primary Election
and
Saturday, November 1, 2014, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the State General Election
An application for an absentee ballot may be submitted to Wright County, www.wright.mn.us, or directly to the City of Delano in person, via US Mail, Fax (763-972-6174), or online via the Secretary of States Web site www.sos.state.mn.us.
The State Primary Election will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2014 and the State General Election will be held at Delano City Hall, on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at which the polls will be open from the hour of seven o-clock (7:00 a.m.) to the hour of eight o’clock (8:00 p.m.) for the purpose of voting for the following offices:

• 18 or older
• A U.S. citizen
• A Minnesota resident for at lest 20 days before the election
• Not a convicted felon without your civil rights
• Not under guardianship of the person
• Not legally incompetent
Where can I get a voter registration card application?
• At state, county, or city offices and public libraries or the respective websites. or follow the link on the City of Delano’s website www.delano.mn.us.
• You apply for, renew or change your Driver License or ID Card at your County Office or Delano City Hall.
• In state income tax booklets
• From the registrar’s office or student association at colleges, universities and technical schools.
• At many businesses, stores, and community groups.
Please mail voter registration card application to Jackie Schmidt, Election Official, Wright County Auditor’s Office, 10 – 2nd St. NW, Buffalo, MN 55313 by July 22, 2014 by 5:00 p.m. for the State Primary Election and October 14, 2014, by 5:00 p.m. for the State General Election
What do I need to register on Election Day?
If you miss pre-registering, you can still register on Election Day at your polling place. You will need proof of your identity and the address where you are living on Election Day. Use one of these for proof….
• A current Driver License, learners permit or identification card (or receipt for a new one) with your address
• One of the above with a former address and a utility bill. Note. The utility bill must have your name, current address and be due within 30 days of the election. Utility bills may be for electric, gas, water, solid waste, sewer, telephone, cell phone, and cable TV.
• A U. S. passport or Military ID card and a utility bill.
• A “Notice of Ineffective Registration” card mailed to you from your County Auditor
• Someone who is registered in the precinct where you live to vouch for you at the polling place
• Student photo ID, registration or fee statement with your current address
• Student photo ID with utility bill
• Student photo ID if you are on a student housing list on file at the polling place
• If you’re registered and move within the same precinct, change your address at the polling place by submitting a new voter registration card application.

PUBLIC NOTICE
ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD
The City of Delano’s Absentee Ballot Board consisting of 2 or more trained election judges appointed by the City Clerk of the City of Delano, will be meeting daily at 10:30 AM at the City of Delano’s City Hall in the conference room to accept or reject regular absentee ballots upon receipt. These ballots will be for the 2014 State Primary Election to be held on August 12, 2014.
