Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Kingston Township, County of Meeker, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Township Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March 18, 2014; and if inclement weather also postpones the election and meeting on the third Tuesday, they shall be held on March 25, 2014. The Election Poll hours will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at which time the voters will elect:
One supervisor for a 3 year term
One clerk for a 2 year term
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:15 PM to conduct all necessary business prohibited by law.

NOTICE OF
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
AND ANNUAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Stockholm Township, County of Wright, State Of Minnesota, the Annual Election of Town Officers and the Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. In case of inclement weather, the Annual Meeting, the Election and the Board of Canvas will be Tuesday March 18, 2014.
The polls will be open from Ten(10) o’clock a.m. to Eight (8) o’clock p.m. The Board of Canvas will meet immediately after the polls close, to certify Election results.
Voters will elect:
One (1) Supervisor – 3 Year Term
One (1) Clerk – 2 Year Term
The Annual meeting will commence at 8:15 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

The City of Dassel is accepting applications for 1 position on the Planning & Zoning Committee (2 year term) and 2 positions on the EDA Commission (2 & 3 year terms). Applicants for the Planning and Zoning Commission must be city residents. Interested parties may pick up an application at City Hall during regular business hours. Positions will be open until filled.

UNOFFICIAL SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES I.S.D. #466, BOARD OF EDUCATION 7:00 PM REGULAR BOARD MEETING, JANUARY 23, 2014 DASSEL-COKATO BOARD ROOM
In partnership with our communities, Dassel-Cokato Public Schools will provide all learners opportunities designed to maximize their potential and promote lifelong learning.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District No. 466 (Dassel-Cokato, Minnesota) was duly held in the Dassel-Cokato Board Room, Cokato, Minnesota, on Thursday, January 23, 2014.
Chairman Bjork called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
The following members were present: Clemen, Tormanen, McConkey, Bjork, Linder, and Bender. The following were absent: none. Members of the administration and public were also present.
The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance.
Motion by Bender, seconded by McConkey, accepting the agenda as printed. Motion carried unanimously.
At 7:05 Chairman Bjork moved the board meeting to the band room for the Communications / Open Forum. About 40 people were in attendance. A parent presented the board with a petition requesting the board do a climate survey. There was lengthy discussion regarding several different issues that some of the board members and Superintendent Powers engaged in. At 8:05 the session ended and the board returned to the board room reconvening at 8:15.
Michael Chvojicek received the November Russell A. Johnson Courtesy and Respect Award, son of David and Lori Chvojicek of Cokato.
Motion by Tormanen, seconded by Clemen, approving payment of bills as presented including payroll, hand payables and contingency totaling $2,728,802.28. Motion carried unanimously. (A complete list of bills is available from the District Office for review.)
Curriculum Advisory Committee (CAC) Report: Linder reported on the 1/9/14 meeting which included a presentation from the media specialists on their curriculum.

Community Education Report: None
Business Manager’s Report: Business Manager Palmer reported expenditures are in line with budget through the end of the seventh month of the fiscal year and reviewed the investment report with the board.

Student Report – Student Representative Abrahamson reported on: winter activities, snow week, registrations and new classes.
Motion by Clemen, seconded by McConkey approving all consent items, which included approval of the minutes from the December 16, 2013 Regular Board Meeting and the January 6, 2014 Special Reorganizational Board Meeting. Approval of Wire transfers made on December 13th for $805,000, December 27th for $125,000, December 31st for $640,000, January 10th for $25,000, January 13th for $200,000 and January 15th for $750,000. Personnel Items: Employment of Renee Grangroth as a Middle School Special Needs Paraeducator effective 1/2/2014, Retirement/Resignation of Mary Arvola as a Dassel Elementary Title I Paraeducator effective 2/28/2014, Resignation of Mary Russell as a Dassel Elementary Kitchen Assistant effective 12/20/2013, Approval of a lane change for Laura Sellner from BA to BA+15 effective 1/1/2014, Approval of a lane changes for Michael Smith from BA to BA+15, Derek Levno from BA to BA+15, Lindsay Popelka from BA+30 to BA+45, for Kathy Athmann from BA+75 to MA, Brian Westby from MA to MA+15 effective 1/1/2014, Employment of Dean Jennissen, Neil Schlagel and Nate Raabe as substitute Type III drivers , Approval of Assignment for Andrew Hegdahl as the Robotics Advisor for 2013-2014, Approval for 11 weeks FMLA Leave for Laura Lynk from January 2, 2014 through March 21, 2014, Approval of resignation/agreement for Susan Marco, Teacher, effective 1/31/14, Approval of resignation for Kim Johnson as the Middle School Administrative Secretary effective 2/14/2014. Approval of Spring 2014 Coaching Assignments, Approval of Deborah Nolan as a Type III Driver. Acceptance of Donations: From Cokato Dairy Queen - $100 to Dassel Elementary, From Cokato Dairy Queen - $100 to Cokato Elementary, From Box Tops - $1,560.70 to Dassel Elementary, From Zahler Photography - $984 to Dassel Elementary, From Kensington Bank and its employees - $750 to Coats for Kids Program, From DC Arts Association - $600 for furniture in the make-up room of the PAC, From Jane Keith - $1,000 for activity fee scholarships. Motion carried unanimously.
Superintendent Powers briefly reported on the progress of the building projects at DE and CE.
Motion by Clemen, McConkey, approving a contract with Architects Rego and Younquist (ARY) for architectural services on the DE and CE building projects. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by McConkey, seconded by Bender ratifying 2013-15 contracts with the: 10 Month Secretary’s, CDL Bus Driver’s, School Age Childcare Site Supervisor, School Service Employees Local 284. Motion carried unanimously.
The board discussed their strategic planning retreat including who should lead it. After this discussion the board agreed to work with Dr. Bruce Miles and set a tentative date for 4/5/14.
The February 10, 2014 Special Board Meeting Agenda will include a discussion on school climate and a recap of the 2014 MSBA Winter Conference.
Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:10 PM.

DRAINAGE INSPECTOR
In compliance with Minnesota statutes, Section 103E.065, the Wright County Board of Commissioners intends to appoint a Drainage Inspector for Wright County and is seeking proposals from individuals interested in serving in the position. The Request for Proposals (RFP) can be found on the County’s website: www.co.wright.mn.us Copies of the RFP can also be requested by contacting Robert J. Hiivala, Wright County Auditor-Treasurer, as listed below.
Proposers shall include a resume describing their qualifications and experience. Proposals shall be for calendar year 2014. Compensation will be based upon qualifications and experience.
All proposals shall be in writing and delivered to the Office of Robert J.
