ASSESSMENT NOTICE
COKATO TOWNSHIP
Notice is hereby given, that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the Township of Cokato of Wright County, MN will meet on Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cokato Township Hall for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said township for the year 2014. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low are hereby notified to appear at said meeting and show cause of having such assessment corrected.
No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.

Call for Quotes
Stockholm Township is now accepting quotes for the 2014 Mowing Season for the Stockholm Community Center located at 16233 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN and the Stockholm Township Cemetery located approximately mile East of the Stockholm Community Center on the North side of the road.
All quotes must be submitted by mail to: Stockholm Township, Attn: Clerk, 15234 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN 55321. Quotes must be received by 5:00pm on Friday, April 11, 2013. Please include the Mowing & Trimming frequency for the season in your quote. A current Certificate of Insurance must accompany each quote.
The township reserves the right to refuse any and all quotes. If you have any questions, please contact the township clerk, Jody Selseth at 612-270-3409.

CALL FOR GRAVEL QUOTES
Stockholm Township is now accepting quotes for gravel:
Quotes for approximately 5000 yards (more or less at the board’s discretion) of crushed Class 5 and/or Class 1 gravel to be hauled on Stockholm Township roads or picked up with the township truck at the vendor’s pit.
All quotes must be submitted by mail to: Stockholm Township, 15234 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN 55321. Quotes must be received by 5:00pm on Friday, April 11, 2014. Please include the anticipated date of delivery with your quote. A Certificate of Insurance must accompany each quote.
Quotes must be on a per yard basis. The Town Board reserves the right to take random samples for quality testing at the township’s expense. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes in the best interest of the township.

Advertisement for Bids
For 2014 Slip Lining Sewer Project
Notice is hereby given that the Cokato City Council, Wright County, Minnesota requests sealed bids for slip lining (cured in place) 328 lineal feet of 15 inch sewer pipe and 1373 lineal feet of 8 inch sewer pipe. The project areas are located at various locations with the City of Cokato. A copy of the locations and site information will be outlined on a utility map to be provided to interested contractors.
Sealed bids will be accepted until 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 at 255 Broadway Avenue South, PO Box 1030, Cokato, Mn. 55321. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bidder will provide within the proposal a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five (5%) along with a certificate of insurance and performance bond. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after bids are opened. Bids will be considered and other action taken as necessary at the regular city council meeting on Monday, April 14, 2014.
The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities in the bids and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the city.

Notice of Annual Meeting Crow River Mutual Insurance Company
Notice is hereby given that the POLICYHOLDERS ANNUAL MEETING of CROW RIVER MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY will be held on TUESDAY April 1, 2014 – 7:00p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church – Peace Center; 400 Franklin Street SW; Hutchinson, MN. for the purpose of transacting any business proper to come before said meeting. There will be an election of two Directors to the Board. You must be a member of the Corporation and a resident of the territory in which the Corporation is authorized to do business to file for the Board. Filings for the Board must be done a minimum of 5 days prior to the meeting with the Secretary at the Home Office. Proxy votes are no longer available. You must be present at the meeting to vote.
