WRIGHT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
DANGEROUS DOG REGISTRATION FEE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners, on February 11, 2014, at 9:30 A.M., will hold a public hearing to discuss increasing the fee amount for annual registration of dangerous dogs in Wright County. This hearing and discussion will take place during its regularly scheduled meeting for that date in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
The Wright County Dangerous And Potentially Dangerous Dog Ordinance (Ordinance No. 10-01) requires that the owner of a dangerous dog register the animal with the County on an annual basis. Section 8, Subsection 5 of that Ordinance specifies that the annual registration fee may be set by the County Board following a public hearing. In 2010, the annual fee was set at $100. The current proposal is to increase the annual fee to $250.

An application for a variance to section 1501.005 letter F of the Winsted Zoning Ordinance has been submitted by the Church of the Holy Trinity, 111 Winsted Avenue West, Winsted, MN 55395 for property legally described as: Lots 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 & 10, Block 005, Town of Winsted Lake.
