WRIGHT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AMEND THE WRIGHT COUNTY PARK ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners, during its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 9:30 A.M., will hold a public hearing to consider amending the Wright County Park Ordinance. This consideration and discussion will take place in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
The Wright County Board of Commissioners will be reviewing and discussing the proposed adoption of ordinances concerning the use of the surface waters and lakes within the Bertram Chain of Lakes. This proposed amended ordinance will place restrictions on the operation of watercraft, seaplanes, and duck boats on lakes located in the Bertram Chain of Lakes Park in Wright County. The restrictions will also prohibit the operation of petroleum powered engines upon the surface waters and lakes within the Bertram Chain of Lakes Park. Amendments will also be considered to regulate the use of motorized recreational vehicles. Violation of the ordinance is a misdemeanor where the maximum penalty could be 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine. The proposed amendments to the Park Ordinance also include general amendments to correct ambiguous and obsolete references; to correct redundant, conflicting and superseded provisions; and to make miscellaneous corrections to the Park Ordinance.

Written comments must be submitted to Greg T. Kryzer, Assistant Wright County Attorney at 10 2nd Street N.W., Rm 400, Buffalo, MN 55313. All comments received by May 12, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. will receive full consideration by the Wright County Board of Commissioners.

ASSESSMENT NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the CITY OF HOWARD LAKE of Wright County, Minnesota, will meet at the Office of the Clerk in said City at 6:30:00 P.M. on Thursday, the 1st day of May, 2014 for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said City for the year, 2014. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting and show cause of having such assessment corrected.
No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.

TIME OF COMPLETION: Owner requires Middle School Addition to be substantially complete on or before August 1, 2015 and fully complete before Sept. 1, 2015, and in accordance with the contract documents. Bids shall reflect all costs necessary to meet this schedule requirement.
PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: Contractor shall provide Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Sum.
OWNER’S RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: Owner reserves the right to reject a Bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular or to waive informalities or irregularities in a Bid received, and accept a Bid, which in the Owner’s judgment is in the Owner’s best interests.

Examination of Documents: Bidders shall carefully examine entire contents of Contract Documents prepared for the Work to become thoroughly familiar with all requirements.

Additional Compensation: Contractors shall not receive extra payments for conditions which can be determined by examining the site and the Contract Documents.
