The City of Lester Prairie will receive quotes for snow removal effective the months of November, 2014 through October 31, 2015. Quotes must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office before 3 p.m. Thursday, October 9th, 2014. Quotes will be reviewed at 7:15 p.m. during the City Council meeting on October 14, 2014. A certificate of insurance will be required upon awarding the snow removal work. Quote sheets and information may be obtained from the City Clerk’s office between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Mayer Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to rezone multiple properties as allowed under Title XV Land Usage, Section 152.156 Amendment of the City Code. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as persons may reasonably be heard, at Mayer City Hall, 413 Bluejay Avenue.
The purpose of the rezoning is to rezone seventeen properties that contain single family detached dwellings from C-2 Central Business to either R-1 Low Density Residential or R-2 Medium Density Residential so they are no longer considered non-conforming uses under the C-2 Central Business zoning.
