CITY OF MAYER
PUBLIC NOTICE
The Mayer Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on an amendment to Title XV Land Usage, Chapter 152 Zoning of the City Code, by adding a new section 152.032 related to beekeeping. Section 152.003 Definitions will be amended by adding new definitions, Sections 152.053 through 152.061 will be amended by added beekeeping as an accessory use to the zoning districts that beekeeping will be allowed in. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as persons may reasonably be heard, at Mayer City Hall, 413 Bluejay Avenue.
The purpose of the amendment is to consider language regulating beekeeping within the City.
A copy of the proposed amendment in its entirety is available at City Hall for review. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as persons may reasonably be heard, at Mayer City Hall, 413 Bluejay Avenue.

WRIGHT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AMEND
THE WRIGHT COUNTY WATER SURFACE USE ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners, during its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at 9:30 A.M., will hold a public hearing to consider amending the Wright County Water Surface Use Ordinance. This consideration and discussion will take place in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
The Wright County Board of Commissioners will be reviewing and discussing proposed amendments of a Water Surface Use Ordinance. The proposed amendments will place restrictions on the operation of watercraft and seaplanes on lakes located in Wright County. The restrictions will amend the current no-wake threshold for Lake Ann by reducing the threshold elevation. The proposed amendment also includes new surface use restrictions for Lake Charlotte by creating a seasonal 150 foot from shore no-wake restriction from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Violation of the ordinance is a misdemeanor where the maximum penalty could be 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.
