Notice is hereby given that the date and location of future regular Bergen Township meetings has changed to: the 2nd Wednesday of every month starting January 2017. The January meeting will be held January 11th at 7:00 p.m. at Lester Prairie City Hall, located at 37 Juniper St. N.., Lester Prairie, MN 55354. The annual March meeting will remain the same location: Bergen Townhall.

Filing dates for candidates opens Tuesday, January 3 and runs through Tuesday, January 17. Notice of French Lake Township monthly meeting to move January of 2017 to the 2nd Tuesday of the month, January 10, 2017. This replaces the regularly scheduled 1st Tuesday of the month meeting, ONLY in effect for January of 2017 due to the holiday weekend prior to the regularly scheduled meeting.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, in accordance with the Lester Prairie Municipal Code, Section 5.1 Zoning, Section 5.1.13 Changes and Amendments, Subdivision 5.1.13.3 Zoning Amendments, that the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 5, 2017, at 7:10 p.m. in city hall.
The purpose of said pubic hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding zoning amendments within the B-1 Central Business District Section 5.1.6 by defining its purpose, and in Section 5.1.6.1 Uses permitted by eliminating one of the permitted uses and renumbering accordingly and Section 5.1.7 B-2 Highway Commercial Districts by defining its purpose.
It is important for residents to attend this public hearing and provide their input regarding the zoning amendment.
