RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed bids will be received by the City of Winsted at the Winsted City Hall located at 201 1st Street North, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the council chambers, for furnishing of all labor and materials for the following project:
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Upgrades to the existing baseball field. Work includes: chain link fencing, concrete retaining walls, and minor carpentry work at the existing dugout.

BIDS: Bids shall be submitted on copies of forms found within the bid documents. One certified copy of the bid form shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, labeled with the project name as listed above, and addressed to the City of Winsted. The bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to the City of Winsted, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract within the time specified and at the price bid proposed.
OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Winsted City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to determine whether a bid is responsive or non-responsive. The City further reserves the right to award the contract to the best interests of the City.

PUBLIC NOTICE
FROM: LESTER PRAIRIE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
Due to a notification error, the public hearing for amendments to the Business District portion of the Municipal Code is being rescheduled to February 7th, 2017 as described below.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, in accordance with the Lester Prairie Municipal Code, Section 5.1 Zoning, Section 5.1.13 Changes and Amendments, Subdivision 5.1.13.3 Zoning Amendments, that the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 7:10 p.m. in city hall.
The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding zoning amendments within the B-1 Central Business District Section 5.1.6 by defining its purpose, and in Section 5.1.6.1 Uses permitted by eliminating one of the permitted uses and renumbering accordingly and Section 5.1.7 B-2 Highway Commercial Districts by defining its purpose.
It is important for residents to attend this public hearing and provide their input regarding the zoning amendment.

CITY OF MAYER
PUBLIC NOTICE
The Mayer Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing rezoning property to be known as Coldwater Crossing 7th Addition from R-1 Low Density Residential to Planned Residential Development (PRD). The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as persons may reasonably be heard, at Mayer City Hall, 413 Bluejay Avenue.
The applicant has also submitted a preliminary plat known as Coldwater Crossing 7th Addition which consists of 28 single family lots. The proposed rezoning of the property from R-1 to PRD is required due to the fact the proposed single family lots in Coldwater Crossing 7th Addition preliminary plat do not all meet the minimum lot size and width requirements of the R-1 district. The proposed preliminary plat of Coldwater Crossing 7th Addition is consistent with the original preliminary plat of Coldwater Crossing which has since expired.
The property is legally described as follows:
Outlot B, Coldwater Crossing 6th Addition.
A copy of the PRD rezoning documents, in its entirety, are available at City Hall for review. Any person desiring to comment on this matter is invited to do so in writing (prior to or at the hearing) or orally at the time of the public hearing.
