Interim Use Permit Amendment
Please take notice that the Waverly Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers of Waverly City Hall on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 to consider an amendment to the Interim Use Permit approval for the WaveSun community solar garden located at 6100 Emerson Avenue SW, Waverly, Minnesota and identified as parcel 116-500-051200.
The interim use amendment, if approved, would allow a change of the termination date for solar garden operations from July 1, 2042 to June 1, 2043. This change became necessary due construction delays and the timing of the interconnection agreement with Xcel Energy. The amendment would allow the full 25 years of solar garden operation and permit appropriate time to decommission the garden.
Public statements and comments will be limited to the proposal to extend the termination date. The original approval of the interim use permit was done on June 9, 2015 and all other terms remain in effect.
Interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing either in person or by agent or attorney in opposition or in favor of the proposed Interim Use Permit amendment.

FROM: LESTER PRAIRIE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, in accordance with the Lester Prairie Municipal Code, Chapter 5 Land Use and Control, Section 5.1 Zoning, Section 5.1.14 Changes and Amendments, that the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 5, at 7:00 p.m. in city hall.
The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding amendments as follows: adding Section 5.1.3.4 Uses Requiring Interim Use Permits and renumbering the current sections accordingly; adding Section 5.1.13.7 through 5.1.13.12 Procedures, Standards, Termination, Certificate of Taxes Paid and Expiration of Interim Use Permits; amending Section 5.1.17 by adding definitions for Interim Use and Interim Use Permits and renumbering the current definitions accordingly; AND adding Section 5.10.5 through 5.10.5.6.2 relating to Hydronic Furnaces and renumbering the current sections accordingly.
It is important for residents to attend this public hearing and provide their input regarding the zoning amendment.
