Notice is hereby given that the City of Cokato seeks purchase offers for the sale of eight (8) residential parcels located in the Trailstone 3rd Addition. The lots may be sold individually or as a block. The properties will be sold as-is, and have additional conditions attached. Please contact Cokato City Hall for a detailed offer packet, if interested. Offers will be considered until all lots are sold. The city reserves the right to reject any or all offers received, and the right to sell the property to the party whose offer best meets the needs of the city.

Notice is hereby given that the ANNUAL MEETING OF THE POLICYHOLDERS of CROW RIVER MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY of Hutchinson, MN and COKATO MUTUAL FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY of Maple Lake, MN will be held on TUESDAY – APRIL 3rd, 2018 – 7:00 p.m., at the DASSEL HISTORY CENTER, 901 1st STREET N., DASSEL, MN. for the purpose of transacting any business proper to come before said meeting. The two companies have merged on January 1, 2018, and due to the merger, there will be no election of Directors to the Board this year.
The Policyholders of both companies are encouraged to attend.

Assessment and Classification of Property
This may affect your 2019 property tax payments.
Notice is hereby given, that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization for the City of Kingston in Meeker County, Minnesota, shall meet on the 2nd day of April, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., at the Meeker County Assessor’s office at 325 North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield, MN. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the count board of appeal and equalization.
