The Board of Appeal and Equalization for Collinwood Township will meet on April 5, 2018, 11:00A.M., at the Collinwood Township Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization.. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the county board of appeal and equalization.

ASSESSMENT NOTICE
COKATO TOWNSHIP
Notice is hereby given, that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the Township of Cokato of Wright County, MN will meet on Monday, April 9th, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Cokato Township Hall for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said township for the year 2018. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low are hereby notified to appear at said meeting and show cause of having such assessment corrected.
No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.

The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF COKATO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT
STATE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Cokato, Minnesota (the “City”), will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 9, 2018, at or after 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 255 Broadway Avenue South in the City, relating to a proposal concerning: (1) the adoption of an amended five-year street reconstruction plan (the “Plan”); and (2) the use of unspent proceeds of the City’s General Obligation Bonds, Series 2014A (the “Bonds”) originally issued on September 11, 2014 to finance the reconstruction of certain streets in the City, all pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.58, subdivision 3b. The maximum principal amount of the unspent proceeds of the Bonds to be recharacterized and used as general obligation street reconstruction bonds under the Plan is $258,000. A draft copy of the Plan is on file and is available for public inspection at City Hall during regular business hours.
All persons interested may appear and be heard at the time and place set forth above.
If a petition requesting a vote on the recharacterization and use of the unspent proceeds of the Bonds, signed by voters equal to five percent (5%) of the votes cast in the last City general election, is filed with the City Clerk/Treasurer within 30 days after the public hearing, the City may issue the Bonds only after obtaining approval of a majority of voters voting on the question at an election.
At the time and place fixed for the public hearing, the City Council will give all persons who appear at the hearing an opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposal. In addition, interested persons may direct any questions or file written comments respecting the proposal with the City Administrator, at or prior to said public hearing.

Stockholm Township is now accepting quotes for the 2018 Mowing Season
All quotes must be submitted by mail to: Stockholm Township, Attn: Clerk Selseth, 15234 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN 55321 or email to stockholmtwp@gmail.com Quotes must be received by Friday, April 6th, 2018. Please include the mowing policy (i.e. frequency, starting date, ending date, trimming frequency, and/or any additional features) with your quote. A Certificate of Insurance must accompany each quote.
This is for mowing and trimming at the Stockholm Community Center, located at 16233 County Road 30 SW, Cokato, MN and the Stockholm Township Cemetery located about 1⁄2 mile to the East of the Community Center on the North side of County Road 30.
