Notice is hereby given that a general election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, for the purpose of electing candidates for the offices listed below.
Two City Council Member - four year terms
One City Council Member - Special Election to fill vacancy-2 years remaining
Mayor - two year term
Treasurer - four year term
The filing fee for affidavits of candidacy for the above positions is $2.00. The filing period for these offices is from 8:00 a.m. July 31, 2018 to 5:00 p.m. August 14, 2018. The place of filing is with the City Clerk located at 30840 722nd Ave, Kingston, MN, 55325.

Lot Split & Variance
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cokato Planning & Zoning Commission, Wright County, Minnesota will conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 6 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the council chambers at Cokato City Hall, 255 Broadway Ave S, Cokato, Minnesota 55321, to consider a request for a lot split and variance from the parking regulations for the Elim Mission Church property located at the corner of Broadway Ave S and 4th St SE.

Zoning Ordinance Amendment
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cokato Planning & Zoning Commission, Wright County, Minnesota will conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 6 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the council chambers at Cokato City Hall, 255 Broadway Ave S, Cokato, Minnesota 55321, to consider an amendment to the city’s Zoning Ordinance, which would modify Section 153.065 – Off-Street Parking Requirements to reduce the required number of parking spaces for commercial retail and service businesses.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice to all Stockholm Residents regarding the upcoming Regular Monthly Meeting being held on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stockholm Community Center. The Township Board has “tentative final” numbers for the new Maintenance Shed and will be presenting their decision, timeframe, plans and any other necessary information at this meeting. If you would like to be a part of this meeting, please plan on attending this informational meeting on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
