FRENCH LAKE TOWNSHIP
NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of French Lake Township, County of Wright, State Of Minnesota, the Primary Election will be held on
Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
Voting will take place at the French Lake Township Hall, located at 3133 County Road 3 NW, Annandale, MN. If you require an absentee ballot, please contact the Wright County Auditor’s Office. The polls will be open from Ten (10) o’clock a.m. to Eight (8) o’clock p.m.
The Public Accuracy Test of the ES&S AutoMARK assisted voting device, which will be used during the election, will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 immediately following the regularly scheduled Township meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the French Lake Township Hall. The purpose of this testing is to ascertain that the equipment will correctly tabulate the votes cast for all races and candidates. The public is invited to attend.

NOTICE
Filing of Affidavits of Candidacy for November City Election
CITY OF NEW GERMANY, MN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Statutory Election of said City in the Election District of New Germany will be held at city hall in said City on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The following offices will be up for election:
MAYOR – 2 (two) year term
TWO COUNCIL MEMBERS – 4 (four) year term
The first day to file an Affidavit of Candidacy is July 31, 2018. The last day to file for office is August 14, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Applications for filing are available at the City Clerk’s Office, (300 Broadway Street East, New Germany, MN), Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The application filing fee is $ 2.00.
The last day to withdraw from candidacy is 3 p.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice to all Stockholm Residents regarding the upcoming Regular Monthly Meeting being held on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stockholm Community Center. The Township Board has “tentative final” numbers for the new Maintenance Shed and will be presenting their decision, timeframe, plans and any other necessary information at this meeting. If you would like to be a part of this meeting, please plan on attending this informational meeting on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

AMENDED SUMMONS
THIS AMENDED SUMMONS IS DIRECTED TO THE ABOVE NAMED DEFENDANTS.
1. YOU ARE BEING SUED. The Plaintiff has started a lawsuit against you. The Plaintiff’s Amended Complaint against you is attached to this Amended Summons. Do not throw these papers away. They are official papers that affect your rights. You must respond to this lawsuit even though it may not yet be filed with the Court and there may be no court file number on this Amended Summons.
2. YOU MUST REPLY WITHIN 20 DAYS TO PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS. You must give or mail to the person who signed this Amended Summons a written response called an Answer within 20 days of the date on which you received this Amended Summons. You must send a copy of your Answer to the person who signed this Amended Summons located at: Rinke Noonan, Ltd., 1015 West St. Germain Street, Suite 300, P.O. Box 1497, St. Cloud, MN 56302-1497.
3. YOU MUST RESPOND TO EACH CLAIM. The Answer is your written response to the Plaintiff’s Amended Complaint. In your Answer you must state whether you agree or disagree with each paragraph of the Amended Complaint. If you believe the Plaintiff should not be given everything asked for in the Amended Complaint, you must say so in your Answer.
4. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CASE IF YOU DO NOT SEND A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE AMENDED COMPLAINT TO THE PERSON WHO SIGNED THIS AMENDED SUMMONS. If you do not Answer within 20 days, you will lose this case. You will not get to tell your side of the story, and the Court may decide against you and award the Plaintiff everything asked for in the Amended Complaint. If you do not want to contest the claims stated in the Amended Complaint, you do not need to respond. A default judgment can then be entered against you for the relief requested in the Amended Complaint.
5. LEGAL ASSISTANCE. You may wish to get legal help from a lawyer. If you do not have a lawyer, the Court Administrator may have information about places where you can get legal assistance. Even if you cannot get legal help, you must still provide a written Answer to protect your rights or you may lose the case.
6. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties may agree to or be ordered to participate in an alternative dispute resolution process under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. You must still send your written response to the Amended Complaint even if you expect to use alternative means of resolving this dispute.
7. THIS LAWSUIT MAY AFFECT OR BRING INTO QUESTION TITLE TO REAL PROPERTY located in Wright County, State of Minnesota, legally described as follows:

The object of this action is to establish a boundary pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 559.23, remove a cloud on title, and set Judicial Landmarks pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 559.25 at the boundary of the property.

Spraying notice
Winsted Township will spray volunteer trees and brush within Township Road R/W July 30-August 10, 2018. Areas of application will be Acorn Avenue, Grass Lake Road, Zero Avenue, Zebra Avenue, 212th Street east of County Road 1, 215th Street, 220th Street between Babcock and Cable avenues, 222nd Street, and 225th Street
Landowners not wanting adjacent right of way spraying will need to call Nathan Schmalz at 320-395-2077 and please leave a voice mail.
