REGULAR MEETING MARCH 6, 2001 CITY HALL 7 P.M. Present: Don Guggemos, Tom Wiemiller, Tom Ollig Absent: Gary Lenz, Bonnie Quast Staff: Fran Eggert, Betty Zachmann, Matt Podhradsky Mayor called the meeting to order. Wiemiller motioned to accept the minutes as written, Ollig seconded, unanimously carried. Discussion related to survey requirements and buildings permits. After reviewing, Ollig recommended to table the issue, and get the language that the Plan. Comm. had discussed previously. Wiemiller motioned to place Matt Podhradsky as a permanent full-time position, effective immediately. Ollig seconded, unanimously carried. Ollig motioned to have Mayor work with Holy Trinity on establishing a handicap accessibility parking space by Holy Trinity High School. Wiemiller seconded, unanimously carried. Wiemiller motioned to allow Holy Trinity to use a portion of the city garage for its garage sale. Ollig seconded, unanimously carried, insurance is provided. Ollig motioned to allow gambling for Ducks Unlimited, at the Blue Note, on April 10, 2001. Wiemiller seconded, unanimously carried. Wiemiller motioned to the DNR for application permit of treating Winsted Lake for algae bloom. Ollig seconded, unanimously carried. Wiemiller motioned to adopt Resolution No. 355-03-06-01, assessing certain properties with past due utility payments. Ollig seconded, unanimously carried. Ollig motioned to accept the Annual Police Report. Wiemiller seconded, unanimously carried. Ollig motioned to pay the following bills: General 2556-2679 $48,471.55 General 10367-10370 $2,270.95 Payroll 3736-3750 $9,950.23 Fire Dept. 3482- $17,014.22 Wiemiller seconded, unanimously carried. Ollig motioned to issue a check in the amount of $314.00 for DARE Twin tickets. Wiemiller seconded, unanimously carried. Wiemiller motioned to adjourn, Ollig seconded, unanimously carried.
