Special Meeting Oct. 8, 2002 City Hall 7:00 PM Present: Don Guggemos, Tom Ollig, Bonnie Quast, Tom Wiemiller Staff: Attorney Eggert, Brent Mareck Absent: Gary Lenz Mayor called the Special Meeting to order. Ollig motioned to dispense with minutes, Wiemiller seconded, unanimously carried. Purpose was to discuss the developers agreement with Bridgeland Devolvement Co.(formerly worked with under the name of Landmark, Inc.) Mareck provided council with copies of the proposed agreement, along with other pertinent information prior to the meeting. Mike Crosby was not present, nor any other representative of either company. Eggert informed the council that Winsted Township had waived the 90 day requirement for the 80 acre annexation, and the City will be annexing the entire parcel, although only 40 acres is being developed at this time. Eggert also presented two clauses to be added to the developers agreement for Phase 1 & 2 only, and which was agreed upon by Mareck, Eggert, and Crosby. Bridgeland will be paying for all improvements, therefore, the City will not be financing the project. After discussion, Ollig motioned to empower the Mayor and Clerk to execute the Developer's Agreement with Bridgeland Development Co., adding the two conditions, upon review and approval by City staff, Quast seconded, unanimously carried.
