City of Winsted Joint City Council, Parks Commission and Trail Committee Council Chambers September 12, 2007 5:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Steve Stotko Council Member Tom Wiemiller Council Member Bonnie Quast Council Member Dave Mochinski Council Member Tom Ollig JoLynn Cafferty – Park Commission Alan Fleischacker – Park Commission Lyle Kritzeck – Park Commission Bob Mochinski – Park Commission Jeff Campbell – Trail Committee Jim Neff – Trail Committee
Absent: Monica Hertzog –Park Commission Chris Schulz – Trail Committee
Staff Present: Deb Boelter, City Clerk-Treasurer Raquel Kirchoff, Administrative Assistant
1) Mayor Stotko called the meeting to order at 5:20 p.m.
2) No Consent Agenda.
3) No Public Hearings.
4) No Old Business.
5) New Business
Stotko introduced Mark Kaltsas, MK Land, who led the group outside to consider the trail plan for Main Avenue West.
Afterward, the meeting resumed in the Council Chambers where Kaltsas presented different options for the Kingsley Street South trail section, with discussion following on these options.
Kaltsas will develop plans from this discussion and work with Mareck to schedule an Open House, where the plans will be displayed, to give the public the opportunity to ask questions or make comments. Those present agreed that the property owners directly affected by the trails should be sent a personal invite to the Open House, in addition to the other advertising done for it.
Kaltsas concluded the meeting by presenting the Trail Construction/Funding Recommendations summary.

Quast motioned to adjourn. Mochinski seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
