Mayor called the meeting to order.
Lenz motioned to accept the minutes, with one correction, as written, Kegler seconded, unanimously carried.
Related to the request of a tailgate party from last meetings. Attorney Eggert stated in discussion with a Liquor Control representative, liquor license when issued, must state the premise under which the license applies. The license issued by the City states only the building, and would not cover the area outside, nor allow any alcoholic beverages at any time to be taken outside of the building, when purchased under the On Sale License. Administrator Reeves will notify all liquor establishments by letter.
Quast motioned to pay the following bills:
Check Nos.8762-8810 $ 84,690.26
Payroll Nos.2832-2847 $ 9,701.97
Fire Dept. Nos. 3061-30639 $ 2,479.11
A complaint from the Fire Dept. for cable to the new fire hall has not been honored after several request. Triax will be notified and reminded of the franchise agreement which provides access to all public buildings.
The budget was tabled to Sept. 10th, the Truth in Taxation Hearing. A Special Meeting will be called upon adjournment of the Public Hearing.
Quast motioned to adjourn, Lenz seconded, unanimously carried.
