The new answer to an old problem: clogged gutters

Most homeowners agree that a clogged gutter system has become an all too common, time consuming headache. The stress and inconvenience of the ladder, the roof, and the mess lends itself to a project that simply doesn’t get done. Unfortunately, the damage from doing nothing can be even more stressful.

Many companies have tried various screens, or hoods to protect the gutters from Mother Nature’s best. These attempts have failed to meet the rigorous demands that Minnesota weather can provide, that was until Gutterglove Gutter Guard arrived.

Many traditional, old-fashioned gutter guards are a ‘reverse-curve’ style that claims to leave you with “clog-free gutters.” While this type of gutter guard does keep some debris from entering your gutters, take heed.

The construction of this guard allows for the admittance of debris into your gutter. Other gutter guards can be made of low-cost plastic screen or thin aluminum. The cautions associated with this type of guard relate to quality. It does not take long for the sun to warp and crack the low-cost plastic guards, and heavy Minnesota snows do a number on the thin aluminum guards.

Gutterglove consists of two components; a perforated aluminum channel frame and stainless steel mesh screen. The perforated aluminum channel frame used to support the stainless steel mesh screen is anodized to further protect itself from environmental conditions. The anodizing process converts the aluminum surface into an extremely hard, durable, corrosion- resistant, long-lasting aluminum oxide finish. No other gutter guard in the world anodizes their gutter guard.

The stainless steel mesh is bond-glued into grooves along both widths of each 5-foot aluminum channel section. When installed, each 5-foot section butts up to another.

Rather then using caulking, which will crack, tear, and peel in the sun, to join sections together, Gutterglove seams are covered by an aluminum fastener called a ‘finger’ that neatly, accurately, and firmly locks the sections in place.

Each section is then installed with three stainless steel screws to the outer lip of your gutter. When the installation is complete, it is a sealed system, complete with end caps.

Additional benefits with the Gutterglove Gutter Guard:

• Collects virtually all debris; no particles larger then 1/90th of an inch will pass.

• No gutter or downspout clogs, ever!

• Strong and durable; handles heavy loads of snow with ease.

• Virtually maintenance free.

• Designed to fit on virtually every existing gutter.

• Virtually no visibility of Gutterglove on your home.
