Connie Thiemann works with clients to buy
and sell homes

Connie Thiemann of Dominion Best Choice Realty, Inc. began her career of selling homes after managing her husband’s home construction business. Now, she is a licensed Realtor and recently passed the test to become an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR).

Thiemann works in and around the Hutchinson area and has even worked as far away as New Prague.

She enjoys working with new construction and first-time home owners.

“It’s fun to see the excitement on their faces,” she said.

Thiemann explained how buying a home can be a scary thing, but she tries to make the process less intimidating and as smooth as possible, she said.

To begin the process of buying a home, Thiemann will sit down with the buyers to figure out what they need or want in a home.

There are different lenders and loan options for buyers including the Rural Development Loan (RD loan) which works well with first-time home buyers, according to Thiemann.

Currently, it’s a buyer’s market, according to Thiemann. December is a slow month, but picks up again in February, she said.

As a licensed Realtor, she is a member of the Minneapolis Area of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service which uses the Internet to find homes in different areas.

“This is a very important tool for Realtors,” she said.

“I also will do a market analysis free for sellers thinking of selling their home to help us determine the listing price for sale,” she said.

Along with the MLS, listings of homes can be directly emailed to the clients.

“I work hard with my clients by listening to what their needs are and try to find what they are looking for in a home,” she said.

Many of her clients come from referrals from past clients that is why Thiemann has heard from her clients that they appreciate that even after the transaction is closed, she keeps in touch with her clients and follows-up on them.
