Wells Fargo Home Mortgage offers convenience for clients
By Kristen Miller, Staff Writer
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is willing to go above and beyond to make the process of buying a home easier for their customers.
Home mortgage consultant, Dan Robertson is one of the top two of more than 11,000 Wells Fargo loan officers in the nation.
“We offer a wide range of competitive products to benefit our customers,” Robertson said.
For example, Wells Fargo offers many first time homebuyer programs that other lenders may not participate, including no money down options and access to below market interest rates by working Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, Robertson explained.
Financing is also available for brand new homes through construction-to-perm loans as well as mortgages for larger parcels of land. Many times, his competition will cap the collateral property at five to 10 acres, according to Robertson.
Although Robertson and his Mortgage Sales Associate, Traci Schumacher, have offices in both Dassel and Hutchinson, Robertson is looking to work in communities like Howard Lake and Waverly.
“I am willing to travel and go to customer’s homes for appointments to make it more convenient,” he said.
What is most unique about Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is, in assisting a large number of clients, they are able to drive down fixed costs and pass the savings on to their customers in terms of competitive rates and a wide range of financing options, according to Robertson.
Also, instead of selling loans in the secondary market, Wells Fargo services most of the loans they close, Robertson explained.
Wells Fargo retains more than 95 percent of the loans originated with them, he said.
Robertson and Schumacher are working on the “convenience factor” by making themselves more accessible outside of the normal business hours.
For an appointment to discuss home financing opportunities call Robertson at the Dassel office (320) 275-4324 or (320) 234-0950 for his Hutchinson location. He can also be reached by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit his website at www.danrobertsonhomeloans.com.
