Chiropractic services

Lester Prairie Chiropractic Clinic is located in downtown Lester Prairie at 32 Juniper Street North. It is served by Meganne Stifter-Knoll.

Clinics

Glencoe Regional Health Services, which already has a clinic in Lester Prairie at 28 Hickory Street N, is planning to open a new and more up-to-date facility.

The new facility will be located just east of Lester Prairie at 1024 Central Avenue, just off of McLeod County Road 9 and 23. They are estimating the new facility will open sometime in March.

This facility is a satellite office of Glencoe Regional Health Services and offers the full range and quality care one would expect from a doctor’s office.

Dental office

The dental office of Dr. Sarah Heuer is located in downtown Lester Prairie at 20 Juniper St. N.

Office hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Emergency services

For emergencies, the Lester Prairie Fire Department operates a well-trained first responders unit, which, as its name implies, is often the first agency to arrive in emergency situations. These dedicated volunteers undergo many hours of training in order to be ready to serve the community in any emergency. The fire station phone number is (320) 395-2608.

Ridgeview Ambulance Service of Waconia operates a Basic Life Support (BLS) unit stationed in Winsted, just a few miles to the north. For any emergency call, an Advanced Life Support (ALS) is also dispatched to be ready if needed.

When a 911 call is made, both the BLS ambulance from Winsted and an Advanced Life Support (ALS) unit from a nearby community are dispatched to the scene. The actual transportation is then handled by the unit most appropriate for the nature of the call.
