Montrose-Waverly Chamber provides business and social opportunities

The Montrose-Waverly Chamber of Commerce is concerned with the promotion of all aspects of life in the area. Since its first meeting November 1999, it has helped provide networking opportunities that advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Montrose-Waverly area so that its citizens and all of the business community will flourish.

Keeping this goal in mind, the Chamber of Commerce hosts a business Expo in the fall to allow businesses to offer their products and services to the community, as well as a chance for community members to socialize.

The other large event that the Chamber of Commerce hosts is the Ice Festival. This is an opportunity for the community to get together and have fun in the middle of winter. Our 2007 festival will mark the 3rd annual event. All of the profits from the event will go to the organizations involved.

The chamber is excited about all of the new possibilities in the Montrose-Waverly area. We would like to invite you to our monthly meetings where you can learn how to become a part of our exciting community. Be sure to check out our chamber web site for the latest information on Montrose-Waverly business and business events at www.montrosewaverlychamber.com.

The Montrose-Waverly Chamber of Commerce officers are president Randy Heuer, vice president Troy Burau, secretary Gen Johnson, treasurer Dawn Olchefske, and membership committee Sonya and Jim Tourville. If you have any questions regarding the chamber, contact Jim Tourville (763) 675-3241, Sonya Tourville (763) 675-3121, or Randy Heuer (320) 485-2535.
