TUESDAY, SEPT. 2

11:11 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a two-vehicle accident in the area of Freemont Avenue SE and Highway 15 in Hutchinson.

2:29 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Stewart First Responders and Buffalo Lake Ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Mowbray Street in Stewart. The person was taken to the Hutchinson hospital by ambulance.

2:52 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Plato First Responders and Glencoe Ambulance responded to a medical emergency at a business on 80th Street, south of Plato. The person was taken to the Glencoe hospital.

3:55 p.m. — A vehicle struck a utility pole in the area of Walden Avenue and Highway 7, northwest of Hutchinson. The driver, Eryn Kathleen Kriewall, 23, of Hutchinson, was taken by Allina Ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital. Her vehicle, a 2000 Buick Century, had over $1,000 in damage. Also responding was the Minnesota State Patrol.

6:01 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Brownton First Responders, Brownton Police Department and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on 57th Street, south of Brownton. The person was taken by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.

7:28 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a domestic at an apartment on Jefferson Street SE in Hutchinson. One person was taken to the Hutchinson hospital by a Hutchinson officer.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 3

1:22 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Lester Prairie Police Department with a domestic situation on Central Avenue in Lester Prairie. The individuals were separated for the evening.

1:32 p.m. — The sheriff’s office picked up a bicycle that was left in a ditch on County Road 7, south of Stewart.

9:47 p.m. — A gas drive-off was reported at a gas station on South Street in Stewart.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 4

3:10 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Lester Prairie Police Department, Lester Prairie First Responders and Ridgeview Ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Kennedy Avenue S in Lester Prairie. There was no transport of the patient.

4:43 a.m. — A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highland Park Driver NE in Hutchinson and, as a result, arrested Benjamin Cody Ramgren, 28, of Silver Lake, on a probable cause charge of driving while intoxicated (DWI). Ramgren was taken to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

6:11 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a dog being hit by a vehicle in the area of Highway 7 and Memory Circle, east of Hutchinson. The owner took the dog to a veterinarian.

7:03 p.m. — An individual on Lace Avenue, northwest of Silver Lake, reported harrassment. A deputy advised the person of their options.

9:49 p.m. — A driving complaint was received regarding a vehicle in the area of Highway 212 and Zebra Avenue, east of Plato. The vehicle was stopped by a deputy near Glencoe and, as a result, Ronald Wayne Pendleton, 46, of Morton, was arrested on a probable cause charge of DWI and taken to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe. A passenger, Roberta Michele Pendleton, 23, of Fairfax, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Redwood County. Also responding were the Glencoe Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 5

2:31 p.m. — The sheriff’s office and the Plato Fire Department responded to a mower fire at a cemetery in the area of Acorn Avenue and Highway 212, east of Plato. The fire was extinguished by the fire department.

8:41 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Winsted Police Department in finding a couple of males who caused a disturbance on First Street S in Winsted. One person was taken to the Hutchinson hospital by the Ridgeview Ambulance.

11:19 p.m. — A complaint of two pickups driving in and causing damage to a field on 150th Street, southwest of Hutchinson, was received. The vehicles had left before deputies arrived. After speaking to the reporting party, the deputies were able to come with a couple of suspects and possible locations they could have gone. Upon checking one possible location, deputies came upon an underage drinking party and four juveniles were cited for minor consumption.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 6

2:48 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Winsted Police Department in finding and stopping a vehicle with a suspected drunken driver. The vehicle was stopped by the Lester Prairie Police Department and the driver was arrested for probable cause driving while intoxicated.

9:15 a.m. — A possible domestic situation was reported on Harvest Road, north of Glencoe. The situation was mediated.

10:46 a.m. — Manure was reported on a roadway in the area of 30th Street and Oday Avenue, southeast of Brownton. A deputy spoke to the responsible individual, who indicated it would be cleaned off the road.

5:17 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of a uncooperative person at a business on 196th Road, west of Hutchinson.

5:19 p.m. — The sheriff’s office and the Glencoe Ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Dairy Avenue, northeast of Glencoe. The person was taken to the Glencoe hospital.

6:04 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of harassment on 122nd Street, north of Plato.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 7

1:06 a.m. — A report was received of a male walking along Highway 7, east of Hutchinson. A deputy picked him up and drove him to a hotel in Hutchinson.

3:31 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a domestic situation on Powers Street in Stewart. Also responding were the Stewart First Responders and Buffalo Lake Ambulance. One person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital. A deputy arrested one person on pending assault charges and took him to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

8:07 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Brownton Police Department with an domestic on Eighth Avenue S in Brownton. The Brownton officer arrested an individual and took them to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

9:14 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Stewart First Responders and Buffalo Lake Ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Herbert Street in Stewart. The person was taken to the Hutchinson hospital by ambulance.

MONDAY, SEPT. 8

9:05 a.m. — There was a report of a garbage dump in the area of 50th Street and Page Avenue, south of Brownton. The matter was referred to the solid waste department.

1:44 p.m. — A theft was reported at a business in South Street in Stewart.

1:44 p.m. — The theft of a camper from a residence on 209th Street, north of Hutchinson, was reported.

2:24 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Glencoe Fire Department and Glencoe Police Department responded to a possible gas leak on Lindbergh Trail.

4 p.m. — There was a report of mailbox vandalism on 100th Street, east of Glencoe.

4:03 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with an issue at a group home in Hutchinson, which was mediated by officers.

4:11 p.m. — A child was reported missing in Stewart, and was found.

4:37 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to an animal complaint in the area of Major Avenue and Highway 7, east of Hutchinson. The animal was corralled.

4:58 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department in finding a child who was reported missing from Park Elementary in Hutchinson.

5:27 p.m. — A burglary was reported at an address on Falcon Avenue, east of Silver Lake.

7:57 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Carver County Sheriff’s Office with a reported domestic in Norwood Young America.

8:15 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office in finding a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident near new Auburn. Also assisting were the Glencoe Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol. The vehicle and driver were located, and the driver was taken to Sibley County.

8:27 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Stewart First Responders and the Buffalo Lake Ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Bowman Street in Stewart. The person was taken to the Hutchinso hospital by ambulance.

9:10 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Stewart First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Hall Street in Stewart. One person was taken to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.

11:25 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Brownton Police Department with a possible domestic on Third Street North in Brownton. One person was taken to the Brown County Detox Facility in New Ulm.
