TUESDAY, JUNE 23

3:43 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a domestic situation at a residence on Park Street W in Glencoe. A Glencoe officer arrested one person and took her to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

1:23 p.m. — A deputy responded to a car-deer accident in the area of 155th Street and Major Avenue, southeast of Hutchinson. There were no injuries.

2:15 p.m. — A suspicious vehicle was reported near a residence on 175th Street, south of Lester Prairie. The vehicle had broken down, and the owner agreed to have it moved.

2:20 p.m. — Deputies responded to a requested welfare check at an address on Sunset Drive, northwest of Brownton. Deputies made contact with the person and contacted the family.

2:23 p.m. — A person on 80th Street, southeast of Glencoe, reported credit card fraud.

5:42 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a juvenile complaint in the area of 10th Street E and Hennepin Avenue N. Officers spoke to the juveniles.

11:26 p.m. — A possible violation of a restraining order was reported on County Road 7, east of Hutchinson.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24

6:03 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Brownton First Responders and Hutchinson Ambulance responded to a medical on Plum Avenue, north of Brownton. A person was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

8:29 a.m. — A tree was reported down in the area of Major Avenue and Highway 7, east of Hutchinson. The tree was removed with the assistance of the McLeod County Highway Department.

4:44 p.m. — A resident on Jade Avenue, northwest of Glencoe, reported that a sign had been stolen. A deputy discovered that the sign had been taken by a neighbor, who intended to repair it.

5:13 p.m. — A deputy assisted the Glencoe Police Department and the Glencoe Ambulance at a medical on 20th Street W in Glencoe. A person was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

6:57 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a domestic situation at an apartment complex on Ridge Avenue NE in Hutchinson. A Hutchinson arrested one person.

7:12 p.m. — The sheriff’s office received a report of a female walking south of Highway 22, northeast of Glencoe. A deputy checked on her, and found that her vehicle had run out of gas. The woman, Naomi Michelle Beith, 30, was arrested on a probable cause charge of driving while intoxicated. She was taken to the Hutchinson hospital for evaluation, then taken to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

7:06 p.m. — A dead animal was reported at the side of a road near a business on 13th Street W, west of Glencoe. A responding deputy was unable to find it.

8:49 p.m. — A complaint was received of loose animals near a residence on 30th Street, south of Brownton. A deputy contacted the animals’ owner, who corralled them.

THURSDAY, JUNE 25

5:10 a.m. — A deputy responded to a car-deer accident in the area of Airport Road and Highway 22, southeast of Hutchinson. There were no injuries.

8:05 a.m. — A theft was reported at a business on Highway 7, northwest of Lester Prairie.

10:22 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a reported assault at a business on Osgood Avenue SW in Hutchinson.

5 p.m. — Extra patrol in the area of 210th Street and Tagus Avenue, north of Hutchinson, was requested.

5:54 p.m. — A sign was reported to be down in the area of County Road 7 and Yacht Avenue, northeast of Hutchinson. County maintenance was contacted.

6:09 p.m. — A deputy helped move a stalled vehicle out of the roadway in the area of Highway 15 S and Denver Avenue in Hutchinson.

8:17 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a report of suspicious activity on Main Street N in Hutchinson. Everything was fine.

9:02 p.m. — A deputy removed a dead deer from the roadway in the area of County Road 7 and 100th Street, northeast of Stewart.

FRIDAY, JUNE 26

7:08 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department in trying to find a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Hutchinson. The vehicle was found.

7:51 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a suspicious person on Diamond Avenue, east of Glencoe. Everything was fine.

8:41 a.m. — A theft from a residence on 200th Street, west of Silver Lake, was reported.

9:52 a.m. — The Glencoe Ambulance, Plato First Responders and the sheriff’s office responded to a medical on Cameo Circle, east of Glencoe.

1:42 p.m. — Several small grass fires were reported in the area of Highway 212 and Dairy Avenue, east of Glencoe. The sheriff’s office and Glencoe Fire Department responded, and the fires were extinguished.

3:50 p.m. — An animal complaint was received at a residence on Major Avenue, east of Hutchinson. A deputy contacted the owner.

4:04 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a domestic on Newton Avenue N in Glencoe.

4:16 p.m. — A car fire was reported in the area of Highway 212 and Acorn Avenue, east of Plato. Both the sheriff’s office and the Plato Fire Department responded, but there was no car to be found.

9:12 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of property damage in the area of Croyden Street and Herbert Street in Stewart.

11:38 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Stewart First Responders and Buffalo Lake Ambulance responded to a medical on Grove Street in Stewart. There was no transport.

SATURDAY, JUNE 27

4:31 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex on 16th Street E in Glencoe.

9:37 a.m. — An illegal garbage dump was reported in the area of Highway 7 and Walden Avenue, west of Hutchinson. A deputy filled out a report for the solid waste department.

2:20 p.m. — The Stewart First Responders, Buffalo Lake Ambulance and the sheriff’s office responded to a medical on Herbert Street in Stewart. A person was taken to the Hutchinson hospital by ambulance.

6:07 p.m. — The Silver Lake First Responders, Silver Lake Ambulance and the sheriff’s office responded to a medical on Falcon Avenue, east of Silver Lake. A person was taken by private vehicle to the hospital.

9:44 p.m. — A deputy checked on a mini-bike in the area of Falcon Avenue and Highway 7, east of Silver Lake. Brian Lee Latzig, 53, of Lester Prairie, was arrested on a probable cause charge of driving while intoxicated and taken to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

10:27 p.m. — A vehicle was reported in a ditch in the area of 100th Street and Nature Avenue, northeast of Brownton. The vehicle was gone before a deputy arrived.

SUNDAY, JUNE 28

1:19 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Hutchinson Ambulance responded to a medical on 150th Street, south of Hutchinson. A person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

3:11 a.m. — Loose horses were reported in the area of Highway 22 and Highway 7, east of Hutchinson. The owner was contacted and the animals were corralled.

4:19 a.m. — A deputy checked on a female walking in the area of 13th Street W and Glen Knoll Avenue N in Glencoe, and gave her a ride home to Hutchinson.

8:24 a.m. — The Glencoe Ambulance and the sheriff’s office responded to a medical on Kale Avenue, west of Glencoe. A person was taken by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.

4:35 p.m. — No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident in the area of Vale Avenue and Highway 7, west of Hutchinson. Involved were a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 16-year-old from Hutchinson, and a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by a 16-year-old from Litchfield. Each vehicle had over $1,000 in damage. Assisting with the accident were the Hutchinson Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.

4:46 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 212 and County Road 7 in Stewart. The Stewart First Responders, Buffalo Lake Ambulance and Brownton Police Department also responded. There were no injuries.

7:50 p.m. — A deputy took a report of an individual who was bitten by a dog at a residence on Jubilee Drive, northwest of Silver Lake.

8:36 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a suicidal male at a residence on Bowman Street in Stewart. A deputy took the person to the Hutchinson hospital for evaluation.

8:50 p.m. — A complaint was received regarding fireworks on Grant Street in Biscay. They had stopped before a deputy arrived.

MONDAY, JUNE 29

5 a.m. — A deputy checked on a male who was trying to jump out of a vehicle in the area of Highway 212 and County Road 7 in Stewart. The Buffalo Lake Ambulance took the male to the Hutchinson hospital for a mental health evaluation.

6:09 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Winsted Police Department in trying to find a vehicle involved with a juvenile runaway from Winsted. Deputies were unable to find the vehicle.

2:28 p.m. — A deputy, the Lester Prairie First Responders and the Ridgeview Ambulance all responded to a medical in the area of Babcock Avenue and 212th Street, south of Winsted. The person was taken by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.

2:31 p.m. — A pickup topper was reported in a ditch near a residence on 40th Street, south of Brownton. A deputy was unable to find the item.

2:40 p.m. — Glass was reported in the roadway in the area of 195th Street and Hamlet Avenue, east of Silver Lake.

3:23 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of harassment on Cameo Circle, east of Glencoe.

5:48 p.m. — A damaged mailbox was reported at a residence on York Road, southwest of Hutchinson.

10:08 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Winsted First Responders and Ridgeview Ambulance responded to a medical on Cable Avenue, west of Winsted. A person was taken to the Ridgeview Hospital in Waconia by ambulance.
