On Tuesday, May 14, at 1:11 a.m., the sheriff’s office, Stewart First Responders, Buffalo Lake Ambulance and Glencoe Ambulance responded to a medical on Herbert Street in Stewart. An individual was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.
A theft was repported at 5:51 a.m., Tuesday, at a residence on Powers Street in Stewart.
At 12:19 p.m., Tuesday, the sheriff’s office and the Hutchinson Fire Department responded to a report of a grass fire on Vale Avenue, southwest of Hutchinson.
The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical emergency at a residence on Unit Avenue, northwest of Hutchinson, at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday. An individual was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.
On Wednesday, May 15,at 2:45 p.m., the sheriff’s office, Silver Lake First Responders and the Silver Lake Ambulance responded to a medical on Garden Avenue, northeast of Silver Lake. There was no transport.
At 4:49 p.m., Wednesday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a fight at an apartment complex on 16th Street East in Glencoe. Also responding was the Glencoe Ambulance. One individual was taken to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.
A grass fire was reported at 5:43 p.m., Wednesday, on Fox Avenue, east of Silver Lake. The Silver Lake Fire Department responded.
Another grass fire was reported at 7:01 p.m., Wednesday, on Vale Avenue, west of Hutchinson. The Hutchinson Fire Department responded.
A dumpster fire was reported at 7:35 p.m., Wednesday, at a business on Highway 7, north of Lester Prairie. The Lester Prairie Fire Department responded.
On Thursday, May 16, the sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police with a hit-and-run accident on Highway 15 in Hutchinson.
At 12:28 p.m., Thursday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a report of a domestic violence incident that had happened earlier at a residence on Chandler Avenue in Glencoe.
A medical emergency was reported at a business on 10th Street in Glencoe at 2:12 p.m., Thursday. Also responding was the Glencoe Ambulance. The individual was transported to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.
A report of a loose horse on Major Avenue, east of Hutchinson, was received at 2:31 p.m., Thursday. The horse was corralled.
At 5:18 p.m., Thursday, the sheriff’s office, Winsted First Responders and the Ridgeview Ambulance responded to a medical on 225th Street, west of Winsted. The individual had died. The local funeral home and the death investigator were called to the scene.
The sheriff’s office and the Hutchinson, Brownton and Stewart fire departments responded to a grove fire on 130th Street, south of Hutchinson, at 5:36 p.m., Thursday.
At 9:42 p.m., Thursday, the sheriff’s office responded to a report of a grass fire with possible trees on fire in the area of Yacht Avenue and 100th Street, north of Stewart. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office advised there was a controlled burn in the area that would cross the county line.
A car-deer accident in the area of County Road 9 and 128th Court, north of Plato, at 9:51 p.m., Thursday. There were no injuries.
On Friday, May 17, at 3:10 a.m., the sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a domestic at a residence on 14th Street in Glencoe.
The sheriff’s office responded to a medical on Cable Avenue, southwest of Winsted, at 3:23 p.m., Friday. Also responding were the Winsted First Responders and the Ridgeview Ambulance.
The sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a report of tractor on fire in the area of Highway 212 and Zebra Avenue, east of Plato, at 10:15 a.m., Friday. It was found to just be steam coming from the tractor.
A gas drive-off was reported at 6:15 p.m., Friday, from a business on South Street in Stewart.
The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a power pole on fire on Cable Avenue, southwest of Winsted, at 9:15 p.m., Friday. Also responding was the Winsted Fire Department. The power company was notified.
On Saturday, May 18, at 2:01 a.m., the sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a fight outside of a business on 11th Street in Glencoe. Two individuals were cited.
At 9:24 p.m., Saturday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol and the Glencoe Police with a driving complaint on Highway 212. The vehicle was stopped by the Glencoe Police.
On Sunday, May 19, at 1:31 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a medical on Herbert Street in Stewart. Also responding were the Stewart First Responders and the Buffalo Lake Ambulance. There was no transport.
At 12:26 p.m., Sunday, the sheriff’s office responded to a report of loose cows on 110th Street, west of Plato. The owner was contacted, and they rounded up the cows.
A rolling medical emergency was reported at 12:50 p.m., Sunday, on Highway 212, near Nature Avenue, east of Brownton. Also responding were the Glencoe Ambulance and the Brownton First Responders. The individual was transported to Glencoe hospital by ambulance.
At 4:10 p.m., Monday, the sheriff’s office responded to a medical on 90th Street, southeast of Glencoe. Also responding were the Glencoe Ambulance and Plato First Responders. The individual was transported to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.
Another medical emergency was reported at 4:55 p.m., Sunday, on Merian Street in Biscay. Also responding was the Glencoe Ambulance. The individual was transported to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.
On Monday, May 20, at 12:12 a.m., the sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police with a medical at a residence on Jefferson Street SE in Hutchinson. The individual was transported by the officer to the Hutchinson hospital.
Another medical report was received at 3:36 a.m., Monday, at an address on East Street in Stewart. Also responding were the Stewart First Responders, the Buffalo Lake Ambulance and the Glencoe Ambulance. The individual was transported by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.
At 6:23 a.m., Monday, the sheriff’s office responded to a report of cattle running loose on 140th Street near Highway 22, northwest of Glencoe. Also assisting was the Minnesota State Patrol. The owner removed the animals from the roadway.
The sheriff’s office responded to a report of sheep in the ditch on County Road 2, north of Glencoe, at 1:32 p.m., Monday. The deputy spoke with the owner and the sheep were moved.
The sheriff’s office and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted the Renville County Sheriff’s Office with serving a search warrant at a residence on Bowman Street in Stewart at 4:36 p.m.
At 8:06 p.m., the sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a medical at a residence on 15th Street East in Glencoe. Also responding was the Glencoe Ambulance and the Glencoe Fire Department. The individual was transported by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.
