Jan. 11 at 8:27 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded a report of suspicious activity on Hwy. 7 in Silver Lake. This investigation will continue.

Jan. 11 at 12:01 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity on Frank St. NW in Silver Lake. The deputy cleared with a report.

Jan. 11 at 7:08 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a fire on Hwy. 15, north of Hutchison. Also responding was Hutchinson Fire. It was a controlled burn. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 11 at 11:36 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a medical on Main St. in Stewart. Also responding was Stewart Fire. No one was transported. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 1:27 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Hutchinson Police with an assist in the area of Adams St. SE and 3rd Ave. SE in Hutchinson. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 4:14 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Glencoe Police with a 911 hangup on 1st St. E. in Glencoe. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 9:09 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Brownton Police with a report of a burglary on Division St. in Brownton. The deputies cleared with no reports.

Jan. 12 at 10:22 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of CR 7 and Vale Ave., southwest of Hutchinson. Because the vehicle was unoccupied and posed a hazard, it was towed. The deputies cleared with no reports.

Jan. 12 at 10:53 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a medical on Main St. in Stewart. Also responding were Stewart Fire and Buffalo Lake Ambulance. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson hospital. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 1:05 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office spoke to an individual over the phone with a civil issue. The situation was mediated. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 4:12 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office spoke to an individual over the phone regarding harassment. The deputy advised the individual of their options and cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 4:57 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Glencoe Police with a report of a fire on Scout Hill Dr. in Glencoe. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 5:08 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Lester Prairie Police with an alarm on Central Ave. in Lester Prairie. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 6:37 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a theft on 70th St., west of Stewart. The deputies cleared with reports.

Jan. 12 at 7:42 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle in the ditch in the area of 30th St. and Oday Ave., southwest of Brownton. Everything was fine. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 8:16 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office spoke with individuals over the phone regarding a suspicious phone call. The deputy advised the individuals of their options and cleared with no report.

Jan. 12 at 11:15 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Glencoe Police with a traffic stop in the area of Morningside Dr. and 10th St. E. in Glencoe. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 13 at 9:15 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office removed debris from the road in the area of CR 9 and 165th St, south of Lester Prairie. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 13 at 12:09 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Glencoe Police with a driving complaint in the area of Armstrong Ave. and 12th St. E. in Glencoe. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 13 at 1:24 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office spoke with an individual over the phone with questions. The deputy advised the individual of their options and cleared with a report.

Jan. 13 at 1:38 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a theft on Major Ave., east of Hutchinson. The investigation will continue.

Jan. 13 at 2:49 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a fraud on Major Ave., east of Hutchinson. The investigation will continue.

Jan. 13 at 3:51 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Juul Rd. and Dale St. in Hutchinson. Vehicle one is a 2019 Ford Explorer, owned by the City of Hutchinson, and driven by Bradley Hemling, age 31, of Hutchinson. Vehicle two is a 2014 Town and County van, owned by Scott Grorud, and driven by Shelly Grorud, age 59, both of Hutchinson. There were no injuries. The deputy cleared with a report.

Jan. 13 at 4:18 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a medical on Falcon Ave., west of Lester Prairie. Also responding were Silver Lake Ambulance, Allina Ambulance, and Silver Lake Fire. One individual was transported to the hospital. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 13 at 4:43 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm on 115th Dr., northwest of Brownton. Everything was fine. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 13 at 6:25 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a medical on 125th St., northwest of Glencoe. Upon arrival, it was determined the individual was deceased. The death investigator and the local funeral home were requested to the scene. The deputies cleared with reports.

Jan. 14 at 7:17 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Hutchinson Police with an alarm on Hwy. 7 W. in Hutchinson. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 14 at 9:10 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm on Boone Rd., west of Plato. Everything was fine. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 14 at 10:02 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a theft on Hwy. 7 in Silver Lake. The situation was mediated. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 14 at 11:41 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office spoke with an individual in the lobby regarding a violation of a restraining order. No violation occurred. The deputy cleared with a report.

Jan. 14 at 3:53 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a rolling medical in the area of Hwy. 22 and 120th St., northwest of Glencoe. Also responding was Allina Ambulance. The deputies cleared with no reports.

Jan. 14 at 4:12 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report a fraud on Summit Ave. in Silver Lake. The deputy cleared with no report.

Jan. 14 at 4:37 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office spoke with an individual over the phone regarding harassment. The deputy advised the individual of their options and cleared with no report.

Jan. 14 at 5:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a 2-vehicle accident in the area of Hwy. 212 and Dairy Ave., east of Glencoe. The deputies cleared with reports.
