TUESDAY, SEPT. 27

9:44 a.m. — Mud was reported on the roadway in the area of 100th Street and County Road 7, northeast of Stewart. A deputy spoke to a farmer in the area about the issue.

5:45 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, assisted by the Lester Prairie Police Department, responded to a report of harassment on Falcon Avenue, east of Silver Lake. The situation was mediated.

7:20 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of harassment among neighbors on Powers Street in Stewart.

9:34 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a report of an unwanted person on 16th Street W in Glencoe. The individual left the area before officers arrived.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 28

3:21 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a domestic situation on Highway 15 S in Hutchinson.

12:47 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on 145th Street, south of Hutchinson. The patient was taken to the hospital.

1:58 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a report of someone losing tools and a toolbox from a vehicle in the area of Hennepin Avenue N and 10th Street E in Glencoe. The tools were picked up.

2:47 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of identity theft from a resident on Falcon Avenue, north of Glencoe.

7:38 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity in the area of 180th Street and Iris Road, south of Silver Lake. The deputy checked the area and was unable to find anyone.

9:40 p.m. — A deputy provided back-up to the Hutchinson Police Department at a disturbance on Fourth Avenue NW in Hutchinson. One person was taken to a detox facility.

10:09 p.m. — A deputy responded to a car-deer accident near a residence on County Road 7, south of Hutchinson. There were no injuries, but there was minor damage to the vehicle.

11:38 p.m. — A suspicious vehicle was reported near a residence on Nature Avenue, southeast of Brownton. A deputy was unable to find the vehicle.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 29

9:18 a.m. — A deputy advised a resident on 236th Court of their options regarding a harassment issue.

2:59 p.m. — Deputies responded to a domestic on Mowbray Street in Stewart. The individuals were separated.

3:03 p.m. — A deputy responded to a theft at a residence on 115th Street, north of Stewart.

9:34 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a domestic in a vehicle on Chandler Avenue N in Glencoe. The situation was mediated and the people were separated for the evening.

11 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Winsted police and fire departments and Ridgeview Ambulance responded to a one-vehicle rollover in the area of Zion Avenue and 235th Street, east of Winsted. There were no injuries. The vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by a 17-year-old from Winsted, had over $1,000 damage.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 30

9:34 a.m. — A deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Ranch Avenue and 145th Street, south of Hutchinson, and issued a citation.

9:37 a.m. — The Stewart First Responders, sheriff’s office, Buffalo Lake Ambulance and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on Main Street in Stewart. The patient was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

10:50 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a burglary on Cable Avenue, west of Winsted.

1:28 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department and Allina Ambulance with a medical at a business on Century Avenue SE in Hutchinson. The patient was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

7:13 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Brownton Police Department with a domestic situation at a residence on Sixth Avenue S in Brownton. One person was arrested by a Brownton officer on a probable cause charge of domestic assault and taken to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

9:57 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of property damage at a residence on Falcon Avenue, north of Glencoe.

11:21 p.m. — A deputy spoke to individuals involved in a complaint of a loud disturbance on 180th Street, southwest of Silver Lake.

SATURDAY, OCT. 1

12:51 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a suspicious male at a business on Third Avenue SE in Hutchinson.

1:52 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department and Allina Ambulance with a medical on Freemont Avenue SE in Hutchinson. The patient was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

9:30 a.m. — A deputy responded to a gas drive-off at a business on South Street in Stewart.

10:23 a.m. — A deputy responded to a report of a theft from a business on Highway 7, north of Lester Prairie.

3:31 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of fraud at a residence on 135th Street, north of Plato.

10:25 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Winsted Police Department, Winsted First Responders and Ridgeview Ambulance with a medical at a residence on Second Street S in Winsted. There was no transport.

SUNDAY, OCT. 2

1:09 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, assisted by the Glencoe Police Department, responded to a domestic situation at a residence on Cardinal Avenue, east of Glencoe. The situation was mediated and the individuals were separated.

8:38 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a possible juvenile runaway from a residence on County Road 7, north of Stewart. The youth was found.

1:20 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department and Allina Ambulance with a medical at a business on Eighth Street W in Glencoe. There was no transport.

2:49 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a domestic at a residence on Grove Street in Stewart. The people were separated.

4:49 p.m. — The sheriff’s office and Lester Prairie Police Department assisted the Winsted Police Department with a domestic situation at a residence on Roselie Avenue E in Winsted. The individuals were separated.

5:44 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a domestic situation at a residence on Pryor Avenue N in Glencoe. The situation was mediated and the individuals were separated for the evening.

11:20 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Winsted First Responders and Ridgeview Ambulance responded to a medical on County Road 9, south of Winsted. The patient was taken by ambulance to Ridgeview Hospital in Waconia.

MONDAY, OCT. 3

5:05 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office with a one-vehicle rollover on Ideal Avenue, southwest of Glencoe. One person was taken by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital, where she passed away. Also responding were the Glencoe Fire Department, Allina Ambulance and Glencoe Police Department.

1:38 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, New Auburn Fire Department and Allina Ambulance responded to a one-vehicle accident in the area of Oday Avenue and 10th Street, southeast of Brownton. The driver and two juveniles were taken to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle, a 2004 Chevrolet Corsica, owned and driven by Sarah Faith Thoele, 29, of Hutchinson, had over $1,000 damage.

8:05 p.m. — A deputy responded to a buglary at a residence on Babcock Avenue, south of Winsted.

9:20 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Stewart First Responders and Buffalo Lake Ambulance responded to a medical on Unit Avenue, northeast of Stewart. The patient was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.
