TUESDAY, FEB. 2

12:28 a.m. — Deputies responded to a report of a person walking in the area of Highway 7 and Ulm Avenue, west of Hutchinson.

3:07 a.m. — A suspicious person was reported in the area of Highway 7 and Highway 22, west of Hutchinson. A responding deputy was unable to find anyone.

9:37 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on 230th Street, northeast of Hutchinson. A person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

11:18 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at a business on Highway 7, west of Hutchinson. A deputy spoke to the owner about the matter.

1:48 p.m. — A deputy responded to a requested welfare check on a person on Major Avenue, northeast of Brownton. The individual was fine.

2:05 p.m. — The sheriff’s office and the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Lake Hook Road, near the public access, north of Hutchinson.

2:39 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a one-vehicle accident on Highway 212 near Bell Avenue, east of Glencoe. There were no injuries. The vehicle hit and damaged a guard rail. The driver was cited for no driver’s license and no insurance.

3:26 p.m. — A deputy responded to a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Jubilee Drive and 200th Street, north of Silver Lake. There were no injuries and no damage to the vehicle, which was pulled out.

3:59 p.m. — The Brownton First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on 10th Street, southwest of Brownton. A person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

5:03 p.m. — A deputy responded to a vehicle in a ditch in the area of County Road 9 and 225th Street, south of Winsted. There were no injuries and no damage to the vehicle. The driver had arranged for a tow, and the vehicle was pulled out.

6:41 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Highway 22 and 77th Street, southwest of Glencoe. There were no injuries and no damage to the vehicle. The driver was taken to New Auburn.

7:28 p.m. — A deputy responded to a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Dairy Avenue and 120th Street, northeast of Glencoe. The were no injuries and no damage to the vehicle. The driver was able to get the vehicle out of the ditch.

8:56 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Silver Lake First Responders and Silver Lake Ambulance responded to a medical on Fox Avenue, east of Silver Lake. A person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 3

2:43 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department and Allina Ambulance with a medical at a residence on 12th Street E in Glencoe. A male was taken to the Glencoe hospital.

5 a.m.-7 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to five incidents of vehicles that had gone into ditches throughout the county. There were no injuries and no damage to the vehicles in any of the incidents.

11:46 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a two-vehicle accident on Highway 212, just west of Highway 15. Two people had non-life-threatening injuries. Brownton Fire and Rescue and Allina Ambulance also responded.

3:36 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department and Allina Ambulance with a medical at a business on Greeley Avenue N in Glencoe. A person was taken by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.

THURSDAY, FEB. 4

5:18 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department and Hutchinson Fire Department with a report of a vehicle that was smoking on Glen Street SW in Hutchinson. there was no fire.

7:17 a.m. — The sheriff’s office and Silver Lake Fire Department responded to a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Grove Avenue SE and Gehlen Drive in Silver Lake. There were no injuries. The vehicle, a 2008 Freightliner M2 100, owned by Marco of St. Cloud and driven by Nicholas Victor Keller, 30, of Rice, had over $1,000 in damage.

7:53 a.m. — A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of 220th Street and Major Avenue, northeast of Hutchinson. Everything was fine.

11 a.m. — The sheriff’s office and Hutchinson Police Department responded to a reported theft on North High Drive, north of Hutchinson.

3:51 p.m. — A deputy responded to a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Vista Road and Walden Avenue, northwest of Hutchinson. There were no injuries and no damage to the vehicle, which was pulled out of the ditch.

7:04 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Brownton First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on Tagus Avenue, southwest of Brownton. A person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

FRIDAY, FEB. 5

2:17 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with an out-of-control male at a business on Highway 15 S in Hutchinson.

8:37 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a suspicious person near a business on Echo Circle SE in Hutchinson. Everything was fine.

2:33 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a theft at a business on Falcon Avenue, east of Silver Lake.

5:42 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, assisted by the Glencoe Police Department, responded to a civil issue on Main Street in Plato.

SATURDAY, FEB. 6

2:58 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department and Allina Ambulance with a medical on 14th Street E in Glencoe. A person was taken by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.

4:35 a.m. — A suspicious vehicle was reported on Skyview Avenue, north of Hutchinson. A deputy found the vehicle, which was stuck in the snow. The driver was able to get it free.

12:10 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Lester Prairie Police Department with a disturbance at a business on Hickory Street N in Lester Prairie. The situation was mediated.

3:03 p.m. — A deputy spoke with an individual on 15th Street E who had questions about child custody issues.

6:38 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of threats being made at a residence on 130th Street, south of Hutchinson.

7:29 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Sartell Police Department by picking up stolen property at an address on Babcock Avenue, south of Lester Prairie.

7:49 p.m. — Propane tanks were reported stolen from a fish house on Swan Lake, northwest of Silver Lake.

10:27 p.m. — Deputies located a vehicle involved in a driving complaint in the area of Highway 15 and 30th Street, south of Brownton, and issued a citation.

SUNDAY, FEB. 7

2:42 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a dispute on Bell Avenue, southwest of Plato, the individuals were separated.

3:23 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with suspicious activity at a business on 11th Street E in Glencoe. Everything was fine.

11:15 a.m. — A deputy responded to a civil issue on 175th Street, south of Lester Prairie.

1:51 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders, Allina Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a medical on Page Avenue, northeast of Hutchinson. A person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

4:38 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of possible fraud on Falcon Avenue, north of Glencoe. The deputy determined there was no fraud.

7:41 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Winsted Police Department and the Lester Prairie Department all assisted the Hutchinson Police Department in looking for a motorist who was overdue from the Hutchinson area. The person was found.

9:07 p.m. — A deputy responded to a vehicle in a ditch in the area of 80th Street and Falcon Avenue, south of Glencoe. There were no injuries and no damage to the vehicle.

9:26 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a verbal dispute on Ford Avenue N in Glencoe. the situation was mediated, and the individuals were separated for the evening.

10:57 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a vehicle that was stuck outside at a business on Prairie Avenue in Glencoe. The driver was arrested by a Glencoe officer on a probable cause charge of driving while intoxicated and taken to the McLeod County Jail.

MONDAY, FEB. 8

6:15 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Lester Prairie First Responders and Ridgeview Ambulance responded to a medical on Eagle Avenue, west of Lester Prairie. A person was taken by ambulance to the Ridgeview Hospital in Waconia.

9:11 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on Jefferson Road, southeast of Hutchinson. A person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

11:38 a.m. — Deputies responded to a domestic situation on 160th Street, southeast of Hutchinson. The situation was mediated and the people were separated.

8:43 p.m. — A deputy responded to a requested welfare check on an individual at a residence on Falcon Avenue, east of Silver Lake. The person was fine.

9:20 p.m. — A suspicious vehicle was reported to be stuck at the end of a driveway at a residence on Vale Avenue, west of Hutchinson. The vehicle was towed to the sheriff’s office, and a search warrant was obtained. All three occupants of the vehicle were questioned for possible drug charges. The investigation will continue.

10:02 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a requested welfare check on a person at a residence on County Road 9, north of Lester Prairie. The person was fine. Assisting were the Minnesota State Patrol and the Lester Prairie Police Department.
