On Tuesday, July 15, at 1:16 p.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle in the ditch in the area of Jet Avenue and 240th Street, north of Silver Lake. There were no injuries or damage to the vehicle.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of loose cattle in the area of County Road 2 and 120th Street, north of Glencoe, at 2:01 p.m., Tuesday. The owner was notified, and the cattle were corralled.

At 7:24 p.m., Tuesday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police and the Minnesota State Patrol with a complaint of individuals throwing rocks off the overpass of Highway 22, south of Highway 7, east of Hutchinson. The officers spoke with the individuals. One individual was arrested on a warrant and transported to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

On Wednesday, July 16, at 4:50 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a complaint of a horse on the side of the road in the area of Dairy Avenue and 180th Street, southwest of Lester Prairie. The deputy was unable to locate the horse.

At 8:10 a.m., Wednesday, a deputy responded to a report of mailbox vandalism at a residence on Imperial Avenue, northwest of Glencoe. The deputy cleared with a report.

The sheriff’s office responded to a suspicious item found in park on County Road 7, northeast of Hutchinson, at 12:27 p.m., Wednesday. The item found was partial human remains. Also assisting at the scene were the Hutchinson Police and the Hutchinson Fire Department. The partial remains were transported to the Anoka Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation later discovered the remains were not human remains.

The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with property damage accident in the area of Highway 212 and Morningside Drive in Glencoe at 12:28 p.m., Wednesday. There were no injuries. The Minnesota State Patrol investigated the crash.

At 2:06 p.m., Wednesday, the sheriff’s office responded to a medical at a residence on 65th Street, southeast of Brownton. Also responding were the Brownton First Responders and the Allina Ambulance. There was no transport.

The sheriff’s office responded to another medical emergency at a residence on 175th Street, south of Lester Prairie, at 6:19 p.m., Wednesday. Also responding were the Ridgeview Ambulance and the Lester Prairie First Responders. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson hospital by ambulance.

On Thursday July, 17, at 12:45 a.m., a deputy stopped a vehicle near a business on County Road 7, northeast of Hutchinson. As a result, Jenna Lou Jacobsen, 20, of Hutchinson, was arrested for probable cause charge of driving while intoxicated and transported to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe. The deputy cleared with a report.

At 1:14 a.m., Thursday, the sheriff’s office responded to an animal complaint of loose cattle in the area of Highway 7 and Dairy Avenue, northwest of Lester Prairie. The owner was notified, and the cattle were corralled.

The sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 212 west of Plato, at 3:24 a.m., Thursday. Also responding were the Glencoe Police, the Glencoe Ambulance and the Plato First Responders. The driver was transported to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance. The deputies cleared with reports.

At 6:14 a.m., Thursday, a deputy responded to a report of trespassing at a residence on 10th Street, southwest of Brownton. The deputy cleared with a report.

The sheriff’s office responded to a medical emergency at an address on Bowman Street in Stewart at 6:48 a.m., Thursday. Also responding were the Stewart First Responders and Buffalo Lake Ambulance. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson hospital by ambulance.

At 8:22 a.m., Thursday, a complaint was received about a large fire on Highway 15, north of Hutchinson. The fire was a controlled burn.

The sheriff’s office responded to a driving complaint in the area of County Road 2 and Highway 7, east of Silver Lake, at 8:11 p.m., Thursday. The deputy stopped the vehicle and warned the driver of his driving conduct.

On Friday, July 18, at 5:41 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to an animal complaint in the area of Underwood Avenue and 30th Street, southeast of Stewart. The animals were corralled.

At 9:56 a.m., Friday, the sheriff’s office responded to a medical emergency in the area of Yacht Avenue and 150th Street, southwest of Hutchinson. Also responding were the Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson hospital, and the deputy cleared with a citation.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a fire in a garbage can behind a business on Highway 15 South in Hutchinson at 6:05 p.m., Friday. Also responding was the Hutchinson Police. The deputy extinguished the fire, and informed the business.

On Saturday, July 19, at 12:39 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a report of a possible assault at an address on Powers Street in Stewart. The deputy cleared with a report.

The sheriff’s office assisted with a rolling medical emergency in the area of 10th Street and Hennepin Avenue in Glencoe at 1:32 a.m., Saturday. The deputies followed the individual to the Glencoe hospital.

At 10:58 a.m., Saturday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police with a car-deer accident in the area of Fifth Avenue SE and Highway 22 South in Hutchinson.

At 2:11 p.m., Saturday, deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Highway 212, east of Glencoe. The deputies cleared with a report.

The sheriff’s office assisted Brownton Police with a domestic situation at a residence on Third Avenue South in Brownton at 8:23 p.m., Saturday.

At 9:12 p.m., Saturday, the sheriff’s office responded to a report of a barn fire on 245th Street, northwest of Silver Lake. Also responding were the Silver Lake Fire Department and the Silver Lake Ambulance. The fire was extinguished.

A medical emergency was reported at 9:24 p.m.,Saturday, at a house on 90th Street, southeast of Glencoe. Also responding was the Glencoe Ambulance. One individual was transported to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.

On Sunday, July 20, at 10:22 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a report of suspicious items found at a residence on 110th Street, west of Glencoe. The deputy collected the items.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of damage to mailboxes on 130th Street, south of Hutchinson on Sunday morning. The deputy cleared with a report.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a domestic situation that occurred earlier at a residence on 170th Street, southwest of Lester Prairie, at 11:54 p.m., Sunday. The deputy spoke with all involved and cleared with reports.

On Monday, July 21, at 12:41 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a report of an individual that was assaulted earlier in Piepenburg Park, north of Hutchinson, who was at the Hutchinson hospital emergency room. The deputies investigated the assault. As a result, Jeffrey Lane Miller, 31, of Richfield, was arrested for probable cause charge of domestic assault and transported to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe. The deputies cleared with reports.

The sheriff’s office assisted Glencoe Police with a medical emergency at an apartment on 16th Street East in Glencoe at 4:50 a.m., Monday. Also responding was the Glencoe Ambulance. The individual was transported to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.

At 12:25 p.m., Monday, a deputy responded to a driving complaint from the Carver County Sheriff’s Office of a vehicle westbound on Highway 212. Also responding was the Glencoe Police. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Highway 212 and Morningside Drive in Glencoe. The officers cleared with a verbal warning.

The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a fight at a residence on 11th Street East in Glencoe at 11:57 p.m., Monday. The deputies cleared with a report.
