On the 26th at 12:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a civil issue on 325th Street, Watkins. A deputy spoke with the parties and there were no further issues.
On the 26th at 1:08 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of mailbox damage on County State Aid Highway 24, Dassel.
On the 26th at 3:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a scam letter at a residence on 2nd Street South, Dassel.
On the 26th at 17:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to an accident at the intersection of US Highway 12 and County State Aid Highway 34, Litchfield. There were only minor injuries and no transport was needed.
On the 26th at 7:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an assist the public at an address on County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield. A report was taken.
On the 26th at 8:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 cellular hang up call from the area of US Highway 12 and Reardon Avenue, Wright County. Dispatch called back spoke with parties and it was a miss-dial and all was fine. Wright County was advised of the call also.
On the 26th at 8:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 cellular hang up call in the area of MN Highway 15 and Us Highway 12, Dassel. A deputy was able to locate the individual and all was fine.
On the 26th at 9:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint at a residence on Pacific Avenue West, Dassel. One Beagle was transported to the Dog pound where it was later released to its owners.
On the 27th at 12:22 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office issued an ordinance violation citation to a resident in Watkins Trailer Park.
On the 27th at 8:39 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint on Axel Avenue East, Grove City.
On the 27th at 10:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 hang up at a residence on 520th Avenue, Grove City. They were having phone issues.
On the 27th at 10:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of mailbox damage at a residence on County State Aid Highway 24, Dassel.
On the 27th at 10:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a residence on South Armstrong Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 27th at 11:06 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity on MN Highway 15, Dassel.
On the 27th at 11:38 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a residence on East 3rd Street, Litchfield. One party was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 27th at 2:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an assault on US Highway 12, Dassel. Jami Lee Porth, age 41, of Dassel was arrested for domestic assault.
On the 27th at 2:49 p.m. a Sheriff’s deputy while on patrol, found a bunch of garbage bags in the ditch on County State Aid Highway 2 and 385th Street, Watkins. The deputy checked the bags for evidence and the County Highway was notified to remove them.
On the 27th at 4:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a dog complainant on 573rd Avenue, Litchfield. The deputy spoke to all parties involved.
On the 27th at 4:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of mailbox damage on 250th Street, Dassel.
On the 27th at 5:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a large hole in the road at the intersection of Kingston Street and 717th Avenue, Kimball. County Highway was notified and will be taking care of the problem.
On the 27th at 5:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical on South Chandler Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 27th at 5:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a custody complaint at a residence on County State Aid Highway 17, Watkins. The Deputy spoke to the individual and the complaint will be on file.
On the 27th at 7:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car / deer accident on MN Highway 7 and MN Highway 22, Hutchinson. There were no injuries and the deer was gone on arrival.
On the 27th at 9:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a business on Atlantic Avenue West, Grove City. The Deputy checked the building and it was secure.
On the 27th at 9:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office issued a deer possession tag to an individual that found a dead deer on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin.
On the 27th at 10:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an unwanted individual at a residence on 2nd Street South, Grove City. The parties were separated and the situation was mediated.
On the 27th at 10:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to Meeker Memorial Hospital to transport an individual to Hutchinson Hospital.
On the 28th at 12:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an animal complaint on US Highway 12 and MN Highway 15. The deputy was unable to locate the cows.
On the 28th at 4:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue to a medical at a residence on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 28th at 6:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a request from an individual at a business 5th Street North, Grove City for a deer possession tag for a found dead deer on the road. A deputy responded and issued a tag.
On the 28th at 11:26 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a disturbance call from the County Attorney’s Office. Upon the deputy’s and a Litchfield Police Officer’s arrival the party had left. This matter is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
On the 28th at 12:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue for a medical at a residence on West 5th Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 28th 3:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a school bus stop arm violation on US Highway 12 west of Grove City. A deputy responded and took information on the incident.
On the 28th at 4:52 the Sheriff’s Office received a request to assist the public from a motorist for directions to Meeker Memorial Hospital. Dispatch gave the party directions.
On the28 at 5:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report three people on the railroad tracks in the area of County State Aid Highway 1. A deputy advised the parties to move.
On the 28th at 6:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office at an address on MN Highway 22, Litchfield, to deliver an emergency message.
On the 28th at 7:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car/deer accident on 205th Street, Darwin. The deputy issued a deer tag to the occupants of the vehicle.
On the 28th at 8:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of vehicle tampering on 150th Street, Cosmos.
On the 29th at 7:22 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Fire for a fire alarm on South Davis Avenue, Litchfield. The fire department searched the building and determined it was a false alarm.
On the 29th at 9:14 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 hang up call from 600th Avenue, Litchfield. It was discovered that it was a misdial and everything was fine.
On the 29th at 10:20 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of criminal damage on County State Aid Highway 21, Dassel.
On the 29th at 11:09 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint of two cows loose near 602nd Avenue, Eden Valley. Upon the deputy’s arrival the cows were unable to be located.
On the 29th at 11:53 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical on South Gorman Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 29th at 1:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of unsafe conditions on County State Aid Highway 18, Hutchinson. The information was transferred to the MN Department of Natural Resources who responded to the call and issued a warning to the suspects.
On the 29th at 1:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a property damage accident on County State Aid Highway 24, Dassel that occurred October 28th. The deputy took the information and advised the party of his options.
On the 29th at 2:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident near 280th Street and 738th Avenue, Dassel.
On the 29th at 2:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Eden Valley Police on a report of a person under the influence on Rose Avenue East, Eden Valley. Upon arrival of the officers the suspect was spoken to and he left for the evening.
On the 29th at 3:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of property damage accident at an unknown location near Dassel that occurred on October 22nd. The deputy took the information and advised the party of their options.
On the 29th at 3:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Fire for a fire alarm on Atlantic Avenue West, Dassel. Upon arrival it was determined to be a false alarm.
On the 29th at 3:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a runaway on Brooks Street North, Eden Valley. The juvenile was located and returned to her mother.
On the 29th at 3:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Litchfield Police and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a personal injury accident on East Frontage Road, Litchfield. One party was treated on the scene.
On the 29th at 7:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for a welfare check on Cedar Avenue South, Watkins. Upon the deputy’s arrival everything was found to be fine.

On the 29th at 11:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 hang up call on 725th Avenue, Dassel. Upon the deputy’s arrival everything was found to be fine.
On the 30th at 12:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Fire for a fire alarm at the Park Village Apartments on West 7th Street, Litchfield. It was determined to be a false alarm.
On the 30th at 1:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a domestic assault on 4th Street South, Grove City.
On the 30th at 8:02 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of unsafe conditions on 240th Street, Dassel. A deputy responded and removed items from the roadway.
On the 30th at 8:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at a residence on 4th Street South, Grove City. Upon arrival of the deputy’s, Douglas John Welter, age 49, of Montrose, was arrested for domestic assault and a probation violation.
On the 30th at 8:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Dassel Rescue to a medical at a residence on Eugene Street, Darwin. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 30th at 8:55 the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a scam attempt from a party at a residence on 654th Avenue, Darwin. A deputy contacted the complainant and advised him of his options.

On the 30th at 1:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a vehicle towing a trailer on County State Aid Highway 34, Litchfield. The vehicle was losing part of its load. A deputy The vehicle was gone upon arrival.
On the 30th at 2:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a horse loose on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin. Upon arrival a deputy observed the horse back in the corral.
On the 30th at 3:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue for a medical at a residence on West Darwin Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 30th at 3:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a school bus stop arm violation on County State Aid Highway 1, Litchfield. A deputy received the information from the bus company and will be contacting the suspect.
On the 30th at 3:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a custody issue from a party at a residence on 587th Avenue, Litchfield. A deputy spoke to the party and advised him of his options.

On the 30th at 10:24 p.m. a Sheriff’s deputy located a vehicle at Spring Lake County Park, Dassel. The deputy advised the parties of the park hours.
On the 30th at 11:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on MN Highway 15, Dassel. The deputy located the vehicle and advised the driver of the complaint.
On the 31st at 12:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office located a yield sign that had been damaged. County Highway was notified.
On the 31st at 12:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a business on US Highway 12, Litchfield, for an unwanted individual. The individual had left the business prior to the deputy’s arrival.
On the 31st at 12:47 a.m. a Sheriff’s deputy located 2 vehicles on a field approach on 632nd Avenue, Watkins. The deputy spoke with the individuals and everything was fine.
On the 31st at 1:27 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm on 330th Street, Kimball. The deputy found that everything appeared to be fine.
On the 31st at 9:11 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Rescue and Ambulance to a residence on 360th Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to Paynesville Hospital.
On the 31st at 9:30 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a residence on Darwin Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 31st at 6:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin. The deputy located the vehicle and Mathew Patrick Delare, age 37, of Cokato, was arrested for DWI.

On the 31st at 10:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of criminal damage to property at a residence on Willis Street, Dassel.
On the 31st at 11:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Litchfield Police with an attempted suicide on South Austin Avenue, Litchfield. Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue were also dispatched but cancelled a short time later.

On the 1st at 12:31 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a business on MN Highway 4, Grove City. It was a false alarm and everything was fine.

On the 1st at 1:32 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of mailbox damage at a residence on County State Aid Highway 4, Dassel.
On the 1st at 1:55 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Sipriano Rubio, age 25, of Litchfield, for DWI, after a routine traffic stop on County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield.
On the 1st at 3:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a car/deer accident on US Highway 12, Darwin. There were no injuries reported and the caller was transferred to the St Patrol.
On the 1st at 3:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue to a residence on West 4th Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 1st at 3:45 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Litchfield Police in attempting to locate a suspicious person on East 5th Street, Litchfield.

On the 1st at 10:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car/deer accident on 645th Avenue, Watkins. There were no injuries and the Game Warden took the report.

On the 1st at 9:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance for a medical to a residence on State Street North, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.
On the 1st at 10:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a driving complaint near MN Highway 7, Cosmos. A deputy checked the area and the information was forwarded to Kandiyohi County.
On the 1st at 11:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office observed suspicious activity on 580th Avenue, Litchfield. A deputy advised the individuals to move on.
On the 2nd at 2:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at a traffic stop on East 1st Street, Litchfield. James Scott Johnson, age 36, of Stewart, was arrested for 3rd Degree Driving While Intoxicated.
On the 2nd at 5:23 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office observed an abandoned vehicle on US Highway 12, Dassel. The deputy made contact with the owner who advised he would be moving on.
