On the 7th at 12:30 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Stearns County Sheriff Office with a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Stearns Avenue East, Eden Valley.
On the 7th at 5:03 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on US Highway 12, Acton Township. The deputy removed the dead deer carcass from the roadway.

On the 6th at 12:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of juvenile trouble at a residence on Western Avenue South, Watkins. The deputy, with the assistance of the Eden Valley Police Department, mediated the situation.
On the 6th at 12:54 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential 9-1-1 hang up call at a residence on MN Highway 15, Dassel Township. The deputy made contact with the homeowner, found all to be okay and that the call was possibly weather related.
On the 6th at 2:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding unsafe conditions on MN Highway 4, Lake Henry. The caller and their information were transferred to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
On the 6th at 8:09 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public with locating a phone number for a tow truck for a stalled driver on US Highway 12, Cokato.
On the 6th at 9:51 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Cold Spring Police Department by taking pictures of a property on US Highway 12, Litchfield.
On the 6th at 12:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on 205th Street, Ellsworth Township. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.
On the 6th at 2:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office advised an individual regarding a civil issue on County State Aid Highway 18, Ellsworth Township.
On the 6th at 2:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police with a domestic at a residence on South Armstrong Avenue, Litchfield.
On the 6th at 2:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a theft that occurred at a residence on 226th Street, Litchfield Township. Before the arrival of the deputy the individual called back and stated that the issue was resolved and there was no need for law enforcement at this time.
On the 6th at 3:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft that occurred at a residence on 598th Avenue, Litchfield Township.
On the 6th at 4:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a business on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 6th at 4:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft that occurred at a residence on 226th Street, Litchfield Township.
On the 6th at 4:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on West Gemini Avenue, Cosmos.
On the 6th at 6:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a stray dog complaint near a residence on County State Aid Highway 30, Manannah Township. The deputy transported a male adult brown/white springer spaniel to the pound.
On the 6th at 7:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near a residence on 580th Avenue, Litchfield Township. The deputy checked the area and found that the vehicle had left prior to arrival.
On the 6th at 9:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a report of a disturbance at the Litchfield Laundromat, South Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield.
On the 6th at 9:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. The deputy removed the dead deer carcass from the roadway.
On the 6th at 9:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on North 2nd Street, Darwin. One individual was treated at the scene.
On the 6th at 10:38 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang up call in the area of US Highway 12 and MN Highway 22, Litchfield Township. The deputy checked the area and found all to be okay.
On the 6th at 11:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of possible suspicious activity at Dunns Lake, Darwin Township. The deputy checked and found that individuals were fishing for carp.

On the 5th at 12:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near a residence on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. The deputy checked the area and found all to be okay.
On the 5th at 1:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an eastbound driving complaint on US Highway 12, Acton Township. Deputies located the semi-tractor/trailer and advised the driver of the complaint who was given a warning.
On the 5th at 3:59 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Stearns County Sheriff Office with a report of a possible domestic at a residence on 163rd Avenue, Luxemburg Township.
On the 5th at 4:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Circle View Drive, Dassel. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 5th at 5:44 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding a car/deer accident on County State Aid Highway 1, Litchfield Township.
On the 5th at 7:02 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report regarding a stray German Shepard in the area of County State Aid Highway 30, Manannah Township.
On the 5th at 8:09 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang up call from a residence on 720th Avenue, Collinwood Township. A deputy determined everything to be okay.
On the 5th at 8:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint occurring in the area of 2nd Street and St. Paul Street, Darwin. A deputy searched the area and was not able to locate the animal.
On the 5th at 8:53 a.m. the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Kimball Fire and Rescue, and Gold Cross ambulance, responded to CSAH 19 at 325th Street, for a single vehicle personal injury accident. Richard Dinsmore, age 60, from Kimball, MN, driving a 1995 Dodge Minivan, drove off the roadway and into the ditch. A small fire ensued underneath the vehicle. He was pulled from the vehicle by a passerby. Mr. Dinsmore was transported by Gold Cross ambulance to St. Cloud hospital for evaluation. This crash is currently under investigation by the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office.
On the 5th at 9:28 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report on a fifth wheel camper found near a residence on 185th Street, Collinwood Township.
On the 5th at 11:07 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang up call from the area of MN Highway 15, Dassel. A deputy searched the area and found everything to be fine.
On the 5th at 11:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on County State Aid Highway 3, Manannah Township.
On the 5th at 11:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a cow in the roadway on MN Highway 15, North Kingston Township. A deputy searched the area and was not able to locate the animal.
On the 5th at 11:55 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a driving complaint on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. A deputy located the vehicle and issued a citation for no proof of insurance.
On the 5th at 12:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car vs. deer accident on County State Aid Highway 21, Kingston Township. The deputy issued the driver a deer possession tag.
On the 5th at 12:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Cosmos Ambulance for a medical occurring at Schmidty’s on Astro Boulevard, Cosmos. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 5th at 2:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on North Swift Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 5th at 2:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office advised an individual of options regarding a possible theft that took place at a residence on 260th Street, Darwin Township.
On the 5th at 3:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to unsafe conditions on County State Aid Highway 1, Litchfield Township. The trailer was removed from the roadway.
On the 5th at 4:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential 9-1-1 hang up call from a residence on 380th Street, Forest Prairie Township. A deputy talked to the caller and determined that everything was fine.
On the 5th at 6:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stray bull near the intersection of MN Highway 15 and MN Highway 24, Kingston Township. Deputies, with the assistance of the MN State Patrol, were able to corral the bull back into the owner’s fence.
On the 5th at 6:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual at a residence on Church Street, Watkins.
On the 5th at 7:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a possible theft at Schmidty’s, in Dassel.
On the 5th at 7:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the MN St Patrol with a report of a car/deer accident on near US Highway 12 and 650th Avenue, Darwin Township. There were no injuries.
On the 5th at 9:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang up call near the intersection of 245th Street and 608th Avenue, Litchfield Township. The deputy checked the area and found all to be okay.
On the 5th at 9:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office observed a domestic disturbance occurring on North Ramsey Avenue, Litchfield. With the assistance of the Litchfield Police Department, deputies arrested Michael Charles Schmidt, age 50, of Litchfield, for 5th Degree Domestic Assault; and Danielle Rayanne James, age 25, of Port Orchard, Washington, on a Meeker County warrant for a Probation Violation.
On the 5th at 9:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Grove City Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at the Roadhouse, Grove City. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 5th at 10:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report for a domestic disturbance at a residence on 598th Avenue, Litchfield Township.
On the 5th at 10:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call regarding a pickup pulling a boat and trailer without any taillights in the area of Dassel/Cokato High School, Cokato, to the Wright County Sheriff Office.

On the 4th at 1:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on a vehicle parked at the ACGC Junior Senior High School. All was fine in the area.
On the 4th at 1:45 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to an assault at a residence on 655th Street, Darwin Township. Nels Clarence Bonde, age 23, of Dassel, was arrested, formal charges pending through the Meeker County Attorney’s Office. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital. The Litchfield Police Department also assisted at the scene. This case is currently being actively investigated by the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office.
On the 4th at 8:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual that came to the Law Enforcement Center, 326 North Ramsey, Litchfield, with some employment questions.
On the 4th at 10:00 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a property damage accident at a residence on 280th Street, Kingston Township. The deputy spoke to the individual, advising them that it was a civil issue.
On the 4th at 10:01 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 cellular call reporting an issue in Lake Lillian. The information was transferred to Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.
On the 4th at 10:36 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received an animal complaint at a residence on County State Aid Highway 1, Litchfield Township. Contact was made with the owner of the animals. The deputy was canceled a short time later.
On the 4th at 10:47 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Coleman Avenue East, Eden Valley. Watkins Ambulance was canceled a short time later. There was no transport.
On the 4th at 11:54 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a residence on 233rd Street, Ellsworth Township. The deputy was canceled a short time later as it was a false alarm.
On the 4th at 1:45 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 cellular call asking for a welfare check in the city of Hutchinson. The call was transferred to the Hutchinson Police Department.
On the 4th at 2:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a noise complaint at a residence on North Casey Street, Darwin. The deputy made contact with the homeowner who turned the music off.
On the 4th at 2:08 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at Lincoln Apartments, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 4th at 3:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call regarding southbound driving complaint on MN Highway 15 from County State Aid Highway 24, Dassel Township. The information was also transferred to the MN St Patrol.
On the 4th at 3:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft from a mailbox at a residence on 315th Street, Forest City Township.
On the 4th at 4:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Officer assisted the St. Cloud Police Department by arresting Jeffrey Truelson, age 45, of Darwin, on a violation of a protection order.
On the 4th at 4:13 the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public on a complaint for road construction on County State Aid Highway 27, Kingston Township. Deputy advised party of options and referred them to the Meeker County Highway Department.
On the 4th at 7:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of harassment at a residence on North 2nd Street, Darwin. The deputy made contact with the homeowner who was advised of their options.
On the 4th at 8:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual at a residence on 560th Avenue, Cosmos Township, providing them with information for the Hutchinson Hospital.
On the 4th at 9:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a northbound driving complaint near MN Highway 22 and 190th Street, Greenleaf Township. With assistance of Litchfield Police Department, the vehicle was located and the driver was issued a citation for no Minnesota driver’s license.
On the 4th at 9:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual regarding a custody issue at a residence on Parker Avenue West, Dassel.
On the 4th at 10:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress at a residence on 340th Street, Forest City Township. Deputies arrived and after investigation, arrested Jimmy Thomas Laabs, age 19, of New Hope; and Wyatt Evert Yeager, age 20, of Wanamingo, for theft with other possible pending charges.
On the 4th at 10:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of unsafe conditions at a residence on 3rd Street South, Grove City.
On the 4th at 10:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual regarding a possible medical at a residence on County State Aid Highway 20, Union Grove Township. The information was forwarded on to the Paynesville Hospital and family would be bringing the individual in by private vehicle.
On the 4th at 11:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding an eastbound driving complaint on US Highway 12, Acton Township. The caller and complaint information was forwarded to the MN State Patrol.

On the 3rd at 12:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield, Grove City, Dassel, and Cosmos spotters for a thunderstorm warning. No damage was reported.
On the 3rd at 3:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on a vehicle parked at the Darwin Ski Hill on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. The vehicle was unoccupied and all appeared to be okay.
On the 3rd at 7:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on Pacific Avenue West, Dassel. The deputy warned the owner.
On the 3rd at 9:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft by check from the Meeker County Treasures Office, 325 North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 3rd at 9:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft by check from the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, 326 North Ramsey Avenue, Litchfield.
On the 3rd at 10:20 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 cellular call reporting a possible suicidal individual by Lake Superior, Duluth. The call was transferred to St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
On the 3rd at 11:57 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on County State Aid Highway 19, Kingston Township. Kimball Rescue also assisted at the scene. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.
On the 3rd at 2:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with a K-9 search at the AGCG Junior Senior High School, on MN Highway 4, Grove City.

On the 3rd at 6:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang up call in the area of 10th Street SW and Peyton Avenue SW, Wright County. The information was passed on to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.
On the 3rd at 7:01 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of horses loose at an address on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin Township.
On the 3rd at 7:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public with questions at a residence on CJ Moe Boulevard, Dassel.
On the 3rd at 7:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office removed debris from the roadway on US Highway 12 and 708th Avenue, Dassel Township.
On the 3rd at 8:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of 3rd Street North, Dassel. The deputy spoke to the individual and all was fine.

On the 2nd at 9:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of an Order for Protection Violation that happened on County State Aid Highway 19, North Kingston Township.
On the 2nd at 11:56 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with unlocking a vehicle at a residence on 235rd Street, Litchfield Township.
On the 2nd at 12:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident in the area of William Avenue and Guy Street, Dassel. There were no injuries reported.
On the 2nd at 3:08 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious vehicles in the area of County State Aid Highway 11 and 580th Avenue, Litchfield Township. The vehicles were gone upon the deputy’s arrival.
On the 2nd at 4:38 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a driving complaint east bound on US Highway 12, Litchfield. The information was also transferred to the Minnesota State Patrol.
On the 2nd at 4:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of harassment at a residence on Axel Avenue East, Grove City. The deputy advised the party of their options.
On the 2nd at 5:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of 1st Street South, Grove City. The deputy checked and the vehicle was no longer in the area.

On the 1st at 7:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft a residence on 233rd Street, Darwin Township.
On the 1st at 7:45 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint northbound on MN Highway 15 near US Highway 12, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the driver was warned.
On the 1st at 8:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on North Armstrong Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 1st at 2:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Fire to a fire at a residence on East 2nd Street, Litchfield. There was minimal damage to a deck.
On the 1st at 2:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a dog complaint a residence on 677th Avenue, Forest Prairie, Township.
On the 1st at 3:41 p.m. a Meeker County deputy came across an abandoned vehicle near the intersection of 330th Street and 675th Avenue, Forest City Township. The vehicle was not a hazard.
On the 1st at 3:52 p.m. a Meeker County deputy came across illegal dumping on 240th Street near County State Aid Highway 9, Darwin Township. County Highway Department was notified and will clear the items.
On the 1st at 3:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft at a residence on 120th Street, Cedar Mills Township.
On the 1st at 4:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to assist the public at a residence on 2nd Street North, Dassel.
On the 1st at 4:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of graffiti on Church Street, Watkins.
On the 1st at 5:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint on County State Aid Highway 15 near County State Aid Highway 6, Collinwood Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle was gone.
On the 1st at 6:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from a residence on 654th Avenue, Ellsworth Township. A deputy responded and found all to be okay.
On the 1st at 6:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a residence on William Avenue East, Dassel. The deputy found all to be okay on arrival.
On the 1st at 7:36 p.m. a Sheriff’s deputy came across an occupied stalled vehicle on MN Highway 22, Greenleaf Township. The individuals already had a private tow on the way.
On the 1st at 8:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at a residence on North Litchfield Avenue, Litchfield.
On the 1st at 9:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at Mutt and Jeff’s Auto Repair, South Chandler Avenue, Litchfield, on a driving complaint.
On the 1st at 11:51 p.m. a Sheriff’s deputy came across an unoccupied stalled vehicle on MN Highway 24, North Kingston Township. The vehicle was off the roadway and not a hazard.

On the 30th at 9:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of unsafe conditions at a residence on Lindstrom Avenue West, Grove City.
On the 30th at 10:30 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a civil matter at a residence on 150th Street, Cedar Mills Township. Upon arrival of the deputy both parties were spoken to and the situation was resolved.
On the 30th at 11:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Dassel Rescue and Allina Ambulance to a medical on County State Aid Highway 14, Ellsworth Township. On individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.
On the 30th at 12:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at Schaps and Kluver PA, North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 30th at 2:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a scam attempt at a residence on Church Street, Watkins. Upon arrival of the deputy the individual was advised of his options.
On the 30th at 2:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department delivering a message at a residence on 183rd Street, Collinwood Township.
On the 30th at 3:20 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang up call from the area of MN Highway 22 and US Highway 12, Litchfield Township. Upon arrival of the deputy everything appeared to be fine.
On the 30th at 4:35 the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint near County State Aid Highway 34 and 315th Street, Forest City Township. Upon arrival of the deputies Jordan Patrick Each, age 19, Litchfield, was arrested on a Meeker County probation violation, 5th degree controlled substance and possession of a dangerous weapon.
On the 30th at 5:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint on US Highway 12 near 700th Avenue, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle was gone.
On the 30th at 5:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from an individual near the Mankato area. It was a misdial and all was fine.
On the 30th at 6:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a deactivated cellular 9-1-1 hang up call from an area south of MN Highway 15, Dassel Township. A deputy searched the area and found all to be okay.
On the 30th at 6:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a request to assist the public at a residence on 3rd Street North, Dassel. An individual was advised of their options.
On the 30th at 6:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of unsafe conditions near the intersection of 175th Street and 670th Avenue, Ellsworth Township. A deputy checked the area and the children were no longer in the area.
On the 30th at 7:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of cows out near a residence on MN Highway 4, Grove City. Contact was made with the owner of the cows who were going to go gather up the cattle.
On the 30th at 7:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from a residence on 243rd Street, Litchfield Township. A deputy responded and found all to be okay.
On the 30th at 9:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from a residence on 724th Avenue, Kingston. A deputy responded and found all to be okay.
On the 30th at 9:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on East US Highway 12, Darwin.
On the 30th at 10:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on West 6th Street, Litchfield. One individual was treated on scene and no transport was needed.
