March 13 at 2:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident on 617 Avenue, Manannah Township.

March 13 at 7:05 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an animal in the roadway on 240 Street, Dassel Township. The deputy removed the animal from the road.

March 13 at 7:28 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at a residence on MN Highway 22, Litchfield Township.

March 13 at 7:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office issued a deer possession tag on 360 Street, Manannah Township.

March 13 at 8:39 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office advised an individual of options pertaining to a civil matter at a residence on 698 Avenue, Dassel Township.

March 13 at 11:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker County Social Services at a residence on N Mars Street, Cosmos.

March 13 at 11:43 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to check the welfare of individuals at a residence on West Gemini Avenue, Cosmos.

March 13 at 11:56 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 hang-up call at a residence on 249 Street, Dassel Township. The resident was having phone issues.

March 13 at 12:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a scam attempt at a residence on Marshall Avenue, Grove City.

March 13 at 1:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker County Social Services at a residence on 657 Avenue, Forest Prairie Township.

March 13 at 2:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office advised an individual pertaining to a civil matter at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins.

March 13 at 3:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a residence on 215 Street, Ellswor Township.

March 13 at 5:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to check the welfare of an individual at an address on 604 Avenue, Manannah Township. The deputy found everything to be ok.

March 13 at 5:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the public at an address on N Saturn Street, Cosmos.

March 13 at 9:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office issued a warning for an ordinance violation at an address on Pacific Avenue West, Dassel.

March 14 at 1:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 hang-up call at an address on 215 Street, Ellsworth Township. The deputy made contact with the caller and determined it was an accidental dial.

March 14 at 2:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 hang-up call at an address on County State Aid Highway 1, Litchfield Township. The deputy made contact with the caller and everything was ok.

March 14 at 8:20 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested William Francis Baker, age 54, Darwin, at a residence on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin Township, on charges of domestic assault, disorderly conduct, and probation violation.

March 14 10:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to check the welfare of an individual at a residence on Axel Avenue East, Grove City. The deputy talked to the individual and they appeared to be fine.

March 14 at 12:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a property damage accident on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin.

March 14 at 3:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a business on 3rd Street North, Dassel.

March 14 at 5:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to driving complaint at an address on Atlantic Avenue West, Grove City. John Marcelo Mendoza, age 51, Litchfield, was arrested for DWI.

March 14 at 5:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on County State Aid Highway 4 near 250 Street, Dassel Township. The vehicle was a road hazard and towed from the scene.

March 14 at 5:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an occupied vehicle stuck on 600 Avenue, Litchfield Township. The deputy gave the occupants a courtesy ride to Litchfield.

March 14 at 6:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the public at the intersection of County State Aid Highway 6 and 730 Avenue, Dassel Township. The Meeker County Highway Department was contacted and they closed the road due to flooding.

March 14 at 8:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of harassment at an address on Central Avenue South, Watkins. The deputy advised of options.

March 14 at 11:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Joseph Mitchell Huffman, age 36, of Hutchinson, on a Meeker County warrant for probation violation.

March 15 at 1:21 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at an address on East Curran Street, Darwin. Upon arrival of the deputies, the cause for concern had left the area.

March 15 at 6:21 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on 240 Street, Dassel Township.

March 15 at 9:21 a.m. a Meeker County deputy assisted a motorist on William Avenue, Dassel.

March 15 at 10:23 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at a residence on MN Highway 22, Litchfield Township.

March 15 at 3:20 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a scam attempt at a residence on County State Aid Highway 28, Greenleaf Township. The deputy advised of options.

March 15 at 4:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of illegal dumping in the area of 340 Street and 560 Avenue, Swede Grove Township.

March 15 at 5:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of road hazards near 150 Street and County State Aid Highway 35, Cedar Mills Township. The Meeker County Highway Department closed that section of road.

March 15 at 7:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins.

March 15 at 8:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a residence on Asta Avenue West, Grove City. All was found to be ok.

March 15 at 9:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of cattle out on 293 Street, Forest City Township. Employees of the farm were able to round up the cattle.

March 15 at 9:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Rodney Roger Hopp, age 49, of Litchfield, for Gross Misdemeanor 2nd Degree DWI and Open Container, while on a traffic stop on Astro Boulevard, Cosmos.

March 15 at 10:02 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy picked up a small female Black Lab with a red/purple collar that was running loose on Simons Avenue, Dassel. The dog was transported to the Litchfield Dog Pound.

March 15 at 10:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on 4 Street South, Grove City. The owner picked up the dogs prior to the deputy’s arrival.

March 16 at 7:20 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deer on US Highway 12, Harvey Township. The deputy located the deer and removed it from the road.

March 16 at 9:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 hang-up call from a business on US Highway 12, Darwin Township. Everything was ok, it was a misdial.

March 16 at 9:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 hang-up call from a residence on Glen Road North, Watkins. The deputy checked the residence and everything appeared to be ok.

March 16 at 11:21 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 hang-up call from a residence on County State Aid Highway 4, Dassel. It was determined that it was all ok, and it was a misdial.

March 16 at 7:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a driving complaint on County State Aid Highway 2, Watkins. The deputy checked the area but was not able to locate the vehicle.

March 16 at 9:33 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car vs deer accident near 285 Street and Minnesota Highway 24, Forest City Township. There were no injuries reported, and a possession tag was issued.

March 16 at 10:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Amber Phamie Lee-Wolford, age 34, of Kimball, for driving while intoxicated on MN Highway 24 and 285 Street, Forest City.

March 17 at 11:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew Barrett Martin, age 41, Litchfield, on a Wright County warrant, and for giving a false name during a traffic stop on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township.

March 17 at 3:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint on MN Highway 4, Union Grove Township. The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

March 17 at 4:05 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Neenah Patricia Riedy, age 20, of St. Cloud, on a Wright County warrant, at a residence at 318 Street, Kingston Township.

March 17 at 4:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office put a coon hound in the pound from a residence on 525th Avenue, Acton Township.

March 18 at 8:56 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of fraud from an address on Central Avenue North, Watkins.

March 18 at 10:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a civil issue at an address on 742nd Avenue, Dassel Township.

March 18 at 3:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a civil issue at an address on 295th Street, Forest City Township.

March 18 at 7:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with a civil matter at a residence on 250th Street, Litchfield Township.

March 18 at 7:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a property damage accident on County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield Township.

March 18 at 7:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to check the welfare of individuals at a residence on 200th Street, Collinwood Township.

On the 19th at 7:10 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public on Atlantic Avenue West, Grove City. On the 19th at 8:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call from a residence on 1st Street North, Dassel. The deputy checked the area and everything appeared to be okay.

On the 19th at 3:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the area of 1st Street at Axel Avenue, Grove City. The deputy located the vehicle and left a message for the owner to have it removed.

March 19 at 3:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual with a civil issue at a residence on 619th Avenue, Cedar Mills Township.

March 19 at 9:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a vehicle off the road on East US Highway 12, Litchfield. The vehicle was not a hazard.

March 19 at 9:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at an address on Parker Avenue West, Dassel. The deputy will conduct follow up.
