March 21 at 2:51 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 hang up call from a residence on 660th Avenue, Forest City Township. The deputy found everything to be ok.

March 21 at 7:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of juvenile mischief at an address on 320th Street, Kingston Township.

March 21 at 7:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint on County State Aid Highway 18, Collinwood Township. The deputy located the owner of the animals to take care of the issue.

March 21 at 11:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint on MN Highway 22, Harvey Township. The deputy advised the driver of the complaint.

March 21 at 11:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check at an address on North Avenue West, Grove City. The deputy found everything was ok at the residence.

March 21 at 1:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint eastbound on US Highway 12, Harvey Township. The deputy did not locate the vehicle causing the concern. The caller was transferred to the MN St Patrol.

March 21 at 1:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control on Central Avenue, Watkins.

March 21 at 7:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of cows on the roadway on County State Aid Highway 15, Collinwood Township. The deputy assisted the owner with rounding up the cows.

March 21 at 7:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information of a car vs deer accident on County State Aid Highway 15, Collinwood Township. There were no injuries and minor damage to the vehicle.

March 21 at 9:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a loud boom near an address on County State Aid Highway 1, Cedar Mills Township. The deputy was unable to locate the cause for concern.

March 21 at 10:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office removed a dead animal from MN Highway 7 near County State Aid Highway 26, Cedar Mills Township.

March 22 at 8:58 a.m. a Meeker County deputy assisted a motorist on County State Aid Highway 25, Grove City.

March 22 at 12:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a probation violation at a residence on Luella Street, Watkins.

March 22 at 4:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on a 911 hang-up call from a residence on 650th Avenue, Forest City Township. It was determined to be an issue with the phone.

March 22 at 5:05 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on 2nd Street North, Dassel. The deputy mediated the situation.

March 22 at 6:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a dog complaint at an address on County State Aid Highway 3, Manannah Township.

March 22 at 7:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident with an animal on 330th Street, Forest City Township. A deer possession tag was issued.

March 22 at 8:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of threats at an address on 288th Street, Forest City Township.

March 22 at 8:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a cellular 911 hang-up call on County State Aid Highway 30, Manannah.

March 22 at 9:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at an address on County State Aid Highway 6, Dassel Township.

March 23 at 12:07 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a shooting complaint at an address on Kandi Meeker Road, Acton Township.

March 23 at 1:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a 911 hang-up call from an address on US Highway 12, Darwin Township. The deputy spoke to the homeowner and all was ok.

March 23 at 8:54 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public on County State Aid Highway 6, Dassel Township.

March 23 at 9:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint at a residence on County State Aid Highway 15, Collinwood Township. The owner of the animals was issued a citation.

March 23 at 1:45 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an ordinance violation at a residence on Simons Avenue West, Dassel. The deputy advised the resident to put out the fire.

March 23 at 2:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Dillen James Hinkemeyer, age 30, St. Cloud, on a MN Department of Corrections warrant at the intersection of County State Aid Highway 34 and MN Highway 24, Darwin Township.

March 23 at 4:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office unlocked a vehicle at a residence on Asta Avenue West, Grove City.

March 23 at 4:38 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted a motorist on 300th Street, Forest City Township.

March 23 at 5:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up call from a residence on 244th Street, Darwin Township. The deputy found it to be a misdial.

March 23 at 6:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a driving complaint on US Highway 12, Harvey Township. The vehicle was gone upon arrival of the deputy.

March 23 at 11:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a suspicious vehicle on 237th Street, Darwin Township. The individuals were advised to move along.

March 24 at 1:12 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Mackenzie Lynn Springman, age 23, of Winsted, for driving under the influence on County State Aid Highway 2 and 320th Street, Forest City Township.

March 24 at 7:13 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident with an animal on County State Aid Highway 23, Litchfield Township.

March 24 at 9:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Fredric Charles Frickson, age 50, Hutchinson, on a Meeker County warrant at the Meeker County Law Enforcement Center, Litchfield.

March 24 at 3:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on North Saturn, Cosmos. All was found to be ok.

March 24 at 4:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to check the welfare at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins.

March 24 at 8:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a property damage accident with an animal on US Highway 12, Dassel Township.

March 25 at 10:32 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information of mailbox damage at an address on 312th Street, Kingston Township.

March 25 at 5:20 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a lost cell phone at an address on Comet Street, Cosmos.

March 25 at 6:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious text messages received at a residence on County State Aid Highway 16, Harvey Township.

March 25 at 7:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a driving complaint on South Milky Way Street, Cosmos.

March 25 at 8:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft at a residence on South Milky Way Street, Cosmos.

March 26 at 7:47 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist with traffic control for a report of people driving around road closure signs on County State Aid Highway 6, Dassel Township. The deputy remained on scene until Meeker County Highway Department barricaded the road.

March 26 at 11:53 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a found wallet from an address on Parker Avenue West, Dassel. The deputy made contact with the owner.

March 26 at 12:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the public at an address on South Jupiter Street, Cosmos.

March 26 at 1:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information of a scam attempt at an address on 655th Avenue, Forest City Township.

March 26 at 4:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of threats at an address on County State Aid Highway 18, Ellsworth Township.

March 26 at 5:01 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist with a civil issue at an address on Parker Avenue West, Dassel.

March 26 at 5:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to check the welfare of an individual at an address on Circle View Drive, Dassel. The deputy found everything to be ok.

March 26 at 7:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a missing person from a residence on County State Aid Highway 20, Union Grove Township. The individual was located a short time later.

March 26 at 9:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint on 220th Street, Acton Township. The vehicle was gone on the deputy’s arrival.

March 26 at 10:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler John Walter, age 21, of Howard Lake, for 4th Degree DWI, on 200th Street, Collinwood Township.
