On the 7th at 8:33 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of an abandoned vehicle in the ditch near a residence on County State Aid Highway 3, Manannah Township. The owner was located and the vehicle was removed from the ditch.

On the 7th at 10:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of unsafe conditions at the Eden Valley Medical Clinic on Meeker Avenue East, Eden Valley. The deputy checked and everything was okay and the business was all secure.

On the 7th at 11:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle unlock at a residence on 5th Street South, Grove City. The vehicle was unlocked.

On the 7th at 3:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a medical issue at a residence on 270th Street, Litchfield. The caller advised that there was no longer a medical need and did not want deputies or EMS.

On the 7th at 4:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on County State Aid Highway 1 and 250th Street, Litchfield Township. The vehicle was able to get out of the ditch; no deputy was needed.

On the 7th at 5:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding an unoccupied stalled vehicle in the ditch near the intersection of County State Aid Highway 2 and 350th Street, Forest Prairie Township.

On the 7th at 6:38 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office for a report of property damage accident near the intersection of MN Highway 7 and 180th Street, East Lake Lillian Township.

On the 7th at 10:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a report of a medical at a residence on South Gorman Avenue, City of Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 7th at 11:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a report of a medical at a residence on West McQuat Street, City of Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 6th at 1:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Thirsty’s Tavern Bar, Atlantic Avenue West, City of Dassel. The deputies checked the area and determined that the vehicle left prior to arrival.

On the 6th at 10:10 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a residence on 670th Avenue, Ellsworth Township. Prior to the arrival of the deputy the alarm was cancelled; the homeowner advised it was a false alarm.

On the 6th at 11:27 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of child abuse at a residence on 330th Street, Forest City Township. The information was forwarded on to Meeker County Social Services.

On the 6th at 11:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office spoke to an individual about a civil issue at a residence on 217th Street, Ellsworth Township.

On the 6th at 3:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of threats at a residence on Maple Lane, Grove City.

On the 6th at 4:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of illegal dumping at Hog in the Road on Atlantic Avenue West, Grove City.

On the 6th at 4:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a property damage accident on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. The caller was transferred to the MN State Patrol.

On the 6th at 4:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call requesting assistance in contacting Mille Lacs County Sheriff. The individual was advised.

On the 6th at 4:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call from the area of US Highway 12, Litchfield. The deputy checked the area and all appeared to be okay.

On the 6th at 5:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of harassment at a residence on 230th Street, Litchfield. The deputy made contact with the homeowner who was advised options and there were no further issues.

On the 6th at 5:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a driving complaint on MN Highway 15 going south from Dassel. The caller was transferred to MN State Patrol.

On the 6th at 6:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office for an individual requesting to speak with a Game Warden or a Kandiyohi County Deputy.

On the 6th at 6:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a request to check the welfare of an individual at a residence in Atwater. The information was forwarded to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and they were able to make contact and found the individuals to be okay.

On the 6th at 7:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near a residence on 708th Avenue, Collinwood Township. The deputies checked area residences and found that the individual had left prior to arrival.

On the 6th at 7:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of a medical at a residence on Spruce Avenue East, City of Kimball. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 6th at 7:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car/deer accident near the intersection of 240th Street and 738th Avenue, Dassel Township. The deputy made contact with the driver who was issued a deer possession tag.

On the 6th at 7:45 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Central Avenue South, City of Watkins. One individual was treated at the scene and no transport was needed.

On the 6th at 9:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call to the MN St Patrol for a report of unsafe conditions in the area of MN Highway 7 and 610th Avenue, Cedar Mills Township.

On the 6th at 9:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on County State Aid Highway 6, Dassel Township. The deputy was able to locate the dog and return it to its owner.

On the 6th at 9:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for a deer possession tag in the area of MN Highway 7, Cedar Mills Township. The deputy located the deer and a deer possession tag was issued to the locating party.

On the 6th at 10:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a disturbance at Shorty & Lia’s Laborer’s Lounge, Central Avenue North, City of Watkins. The deputies, with the assistance of the Eden Valley Police Department, made contact with the individuals and mediated the situation and there were no further issues.

On the 6th at 10:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a burglary at a residence on 5th Street South, City of Grove City.

On the 5th at 12:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on 200th Street and after an investigation arrested Cody Todd Welte, age 21, of Litchfield, on a Meeker County warrant for probation violation and a Sherburne County warrant for burglary.

On the 5th at 5:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on West US Highway 12, Litchfield Township. The deputy removed the dead deer carcass from the roadway.

On the 5th at 5:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a report of an unwanted individual at a residence on East 2nd Street, City of Litchfield.

On the 5th at 8:13 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office issued a deer possession tag for a car/deer that was located on MN Highway 24 and 305th Street, Forest City Township.

On the 5th at 9:33 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity at the Meeker County Social Services building on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 5th at 9:53 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting debris on the roadway on MN Highway 15 north of US Highway 12, Dassel. The caller was transferred to the MN St. Patrol.

On the 5th at 1:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of threats at a residence on 330th Street, Forest City Township.

On the 5th at 3:17 p.m. the CEE VI Drug Taskforce conducted a traffic stop on East Depot Street, Litchfield. Mitchell Steven Fank, age 18, of Darwin was arrested on two counts of 4th Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle, and Neglect/Endangerment of a Child. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office and the Litchfield Police Department also assisted on the scene.

On the 5th at 3:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at North Armstrong and East 3rd Street, Litchfield.

On the 5th at 4:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to assist in unlocking a vehicle at Casey’s General Store, Parker Avenue West, Dassel. The deputy was able to successfully unlock the vehicle.

On the 5th at 4:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an Order for Protection Violation at a residence on 3rd Street South, Grove City. Leona Rose Gallagher, age 26, of Grove City was arrested for Violation of an Order for Protection.

On the 5th at 4:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a property damage accident at a residence on 654th Avenue, Ellsworth Township. No injuries were reported and the two parties exchanged information.

On the 5th at 4:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Harassment Order Violation at a residence on 203rd Street, Collinwood Township. Julie Kay Holtz, age 57, of Dassel, was arrested for Violation of Harassment Restraining Order.

On the 5th at 5:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on eastbound MN Highway 7, Cedar Mills Township. The caller was transferred to the MN State Patrol.

On the 5th at 6:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call to the MN St Patrol for a report of a possible property damage accident in the area of MN Highway 15 and County State Aid Highway 18, Collinwood Township.

On the 5th at 7:05 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft of gas at Schmidty’s, Atlantic Avenue West, City of Grove City. The deputy checked the area and found that the vehicle had left prior to arrival.

On the 5th at 7:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a report of a medical at Wings, 260th Street, City of Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 5th at 9:05 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a report of a medical at a residence on 325th Street, Forest City Township. One individual was treated at the scene.

On the 5th at 9:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist an individual at the Dassel Universal Lab Museum, 1st Street North, City of Dassel.

On the 5th at 9:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding a possible probation violation at the Bonfire Bar & Grille, MN Highway 22, Ellsworth Township. The deputies checked the area and found that the individual was not in the area.

On the 5th at 11:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car/deer accident near the intersection of 640th Avenue and 195th Street, Ellsworth Township. The deputy made contact with the driver and observed minor front-end damage to the vehicle and issued the driver a deer possession tag.

On the 5th at 11:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue Squad, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of a medical at a residence on 246th Avenue, Eden Lake Township.

Thursday December 4, 2014

On the 4th at 12:31 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue for a medical at an address on East 2nd Street, Litchfield. One individual was treated at the scene and no transport was needed.

On the 4th at 1:43 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at an address on 617th Avenue, Manannah Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 4th at 4:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dead deer on the shoulder of MN Highway 22 near 230th Street, Litchfield Township. The deputy moved the deer off the roadway and MN DOT was contacted to pick up the carcass.

On the 4th at 5:31 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a driving complaint northbound on MN Highway 15 from 185th Street. The caller was transferred to the MN State Patrol.

On the 4th at 7:12 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a property damage accident on County State Aid Highway 17, Forest Prairie Township. Upon arrival of the deputy a deer possession tag was issued.

On the 4th at 7:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of juvenile trouble at the ACGC Junior High School on MN Highway 4, Grove City.

On the 4th at 7:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions in North Kingston Township. Upon arrival of the deputy an individual was advised to find a safer place to park.

On the 4th at 8:38 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical call at the Kimball High School in Stearns County. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

On the 4th at 8:59 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of unsafe conditions on East U.S. Highway 12, Litchfield. The Litchfield Police Department assisted and removed the items from the highway.

On the 4th at 9:02 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical call at the Dassel Medical Clinic on 5th Street North, Dassel. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 4th at 9:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from an individual in Wright County. The call was transferred to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.

On the 4th at 10:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department at the Eden Valley High School on Brooks Street North.

On the 4th at 11:20 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a gas theft at the Darwin Outpost on East U.S. Highway 12, Darwin. Upon arrival of the deputy the suspect was located and the matter was resolved.

On the 4th at 11:30 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dog complaint on 199th Street, Greenleaf Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the dog was gone.

On the 4th at 2:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sex crime at a residence on Meeker Avenue East, Eden Valley. The information was passed along to the Eden Valley Police Department.

On the 4th at 2:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sex crime at a residence on 728th Avenue, Collinwood Township. A report was made.

On the 4th at 2:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at Walmart on East Frontage Road, Litchfield.

On the 4th at 5:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a property damage accident on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. The call was transferred to the MN State Patrol.

On the 4th at 6:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at a residence on 700th Avenue, Dassel Township. A report was made.

On the 4th at 8:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car/deer accident near the intersection of County State Aid Highway 24 and MN Highway 15, Dassel Township. The information was forwarded to the MN State Patrol.

On the 4th at 8:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical call at a residence on Atlantic Avenue East, City of Dassel. One individual was treated at the residence and no transport was needed.

On the 4th at 9:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at a residence on County State Aid Highway 18, Collinwood Township.

On the 4th at 11:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a missing person from a residence on 150th Street, Cedar Mills Township. The deputy made contact with a family member and with the assistance of the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office and the Lower Sioux Tribal Police; the individual was located and found to be okay.

Wednesday December 3, 2014

On the 3rd at 1:26 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at an address on South Mercury Street, Cosmos. Upon arrival the deputy found everything to be okay.

On the 3rd at 4:07 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at an address on Parker Avenue West, Dassel. Upon arrival of the deputy and a key holder the building was found to be secure and it was determined to be a false alarm.

On the 3rd at 7:11 a.m. Meeker County Social Services reported a welfare fraud to the Sheriff’s Office. A report was made.

On the 3rd at 9:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call on South Avenue West, Grove City. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was okay.

On the 3rd at 9:55 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of a theft of gas at Casey’s General Store on West Astro Blvd, Cosmos.

On the 3rd at 10:11 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at the Dassel Lakeside Apartments on William Avenue East, Dassel. One individual was transported to the Buffalo Hospital.

On the 3rd at 10:47 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a parking violation on Maple Lane, Grove City. Upon arrival of the deputy a citation was issued.

On the 3rd at 11:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a parking violation at a residence on Simons Avenue West, Dassel. A warning was issued.

On the 3rd at 12:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity on Pacific Avenue West, Dassel. Upon arrival of the deputy it was determined the area would receive extra patrol.

On the 3rd at 12:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an alarm at a residence on 350th Street, North Kingston Township. The alarm was cancelled prior to the deputy’s arrival.

On the 3rd at 1:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a harassment violation at a residence on County State Aid Highway 22, Danielson Township. The deputy spoke to the individual and advised them of their options.

On the 3rd at 2:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received an accidental 9-1-1 call from R & R Salvage & Wrecking on US Highway 12, Darwin Township. The information was documented.

On the 3rd at 2:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at the Dassel Lakeside Nursing Home on William Avenue East, Dassel.

On the 3rd at 3:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a driving complaint on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. The call was transferred to the MN State Patrol.

On the 3rd at 3:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of a harassment violation at a residence on 203rd Street, Collinwood Township.

On the 3rd at 3:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting an issue in Wright County. The call was transferred to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.

On the 3rd at 4:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Grove City Fire Department to a fire alarm at the ACGC High School on MN Highway 4, Grove City. Prior to arrival proper identification was received to cancel.

On the 3rd at 4:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at Gloria Dei Manor on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. No transport was needed.

On the 3rd 4:45 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on US Highway 12, Acton Township.

On the 3rd at 5:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical at Bud’s Bar on Central Avenue North, Watkins. One individual was treated at the scene and no transport was needed.

On the 3rd at 5:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of threats at a residence on South Jupiter Street, Cosmos.

On the 3rd at 6:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of harassment at an address on North Jupiter Street, Cosmos.

On the 3rd at 8:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Cosmos Ambulance for a medical at an address on 140th Street, Cedar Mills Township. One individual treated at the scene and transported by a private vehicle to the hospital.

On the 3rd at 10:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a dog complaint from an address on 4th Street South, Grove City.

On the 3rd at 10:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at an address on South Swift Avenue, Litchfield.

Tuesday December 2, 2014

On the 2nd at 12:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at an address on 4th Street North, Watkins. A short time later Watkins Fire Department was dispatched for assistance. One individual was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

On the 2nd at 12:46 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker Memorial Hospital with a transport to New Ulm.

On the 2nd at 3:00 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue for a medical at an address on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 2nd at 7:10 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at a residence on East 2nd Street, Litchfield.

On the 2nd at 7:10 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a scam attempt at a residence on County State Aid Highway 1, Litchfield Township. The information was documented.

On the 2nd at 7:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call at a residence on 590th Avenue, Cedar Mills Township. The information was documented.

On the 2nd at 7:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on Douglas Drive, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

On the 2nd at 8:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on MN Highway 22, Manannah Township.

On the 2nd at 8:39 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Kristie McCandless, age 35, of Litchfield, on a Meeker County Warrant.

On the 2nd at 9:28 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Sunrise Drive, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 2nd at 9:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance, Grove City Fire Department, and the Grove City Rescue Squad to a welfare check at a residence on County State Aid Highway 23, Acton Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 2nd at 10:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity at a residence on 733rd Avenue, Kingston Township.

On the 2nd at 10:56 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a minor in possession of tobacco at the Cosmos Alternative Learning Center on North Saturn Avenue, Cosmos. Upon arrival of the deputy a citation was issued.

On the 2nd at 11:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue Squad to a medical at the Emmaus Place on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 2nd at 12:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of minor consumption at the ACGC High School on MN Highway 4, Grove City.

On the 2nd at 12:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity at a residence on 742nd Avenue, Kingston Township. The information was documented.

On the 2nd at 2:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked the welfare of an individual at a residence on 574th Avenue, Manannah. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was okay.

On the 2nd at 2:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of theft at a residence on Stearns Avenue West, Eden Valley.

On the 2nd at 2:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of trespassing at an address on 612th Avenue, Manannah Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the situation was mediated.

On the 2nd at 3:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call at a residence on Parker Avenue West, Dassel. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was okay.

On the 2nd at 4:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an animal complaint at a residence on 260th Street, Darwin Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the cow was being contained.

On the 2nd at 4:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on North Armstrong Avenue, Litchfield. No transport was needed.

On the 2nd at 5:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic at a residence on 660th Avenue, Forest City Township. The deputy transported one juvenile female to the Prairie Lakes Juvenile Detention Center in Willmar.

On the 2nd at 5:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker Memorial Hospital with a transport of an individual to Rice Hospital.

On the 2nd at 6:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call from an area near the intersection of 3rd Street and Simons Avenue, Dassel. Upon arrival of the deputy everything appeared to be okay.

On the 2nd at 8:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Grove City Rescue for a medical at an address on MN Highway 4, Acton Township. Prior to arrival all units were cancelled as there was no assistance needed.

On the 2nd at 8:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Allina Ambulance and Dassel Rescue for a medical at an address on 702nd Avenue, Collinwood Township. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 2nd at 8:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a domestic at an address on Ramsey Avenue, Atwater. The caller was transferred to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.

On the 1st at 1:06 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a snowmobile complaint at a residence on County State Aid Highway 23, Acton Township. The deputy checked the area and found that the snowmobiles had left prior to arrival.

On the 1st at 1:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on 250th Street, Darwin Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 1st at 4:06 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at Bethany Home, North Armstrong Avenue, City of Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 1st at 4:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a southbound driving complaint in the area of County State Aid Highway 2 and 315th Street, City of Forest City. The deputy checked the area and found that the vehicle had left prior to arrival.

On the 1st at 8:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with a stalled vehicle on US Highway 12, Litchfield Township.

On the 1st at 9:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a deactivated cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call from the area of 340th Street and 617th Avenue, Manannah Township. The deputy checked the area and found everything to be okay.

On the 1st at 10:16 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information on possible child abuse at a residence on North Jupiter Street, Cosmos. The information was forwarded to the Cosmos Police Department.

On the 1st at 10:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information on possible child abuse at a residence on South Jupiter Street, Cosmos. The information was forwarded to the Cosmos Police Department.

On the 1st at 10:26 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft from the area of 650th Street and MN Highway 24, Forest City Township.

On the 1st at 11:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check on US Highway 12, Grove City. The deputy was later canceled as the individual had been located.

On the 1st at 1:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information on a possible trespassing complaint at a residence on 683rd Avenue, Forest City Township.

On the 1st at 1:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Edwin Albert Dlugopolski, age 53, of Dassel on McLeod County warrant for failure to appear on 5th degree controlled substance charges. Dlugopolski was also arrested by the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office on new charges of 5th degree controlled substance meth and 5th degree meth paraphernalia

On the 1st at 1:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft from Jack’s Standard, Veterans Drive, Watkins.

On the 1st at 4:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on County Road 9, Stearns County. There was no transport.

On the 1st at 4:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with unlocking a vehicle at a residence on 233rd Street, Darwin Township.

On the 1st at 5:05 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on 700th Avenue, Dassel Township. The dog was gone upon the deputy’s arrival.

On the 1st at 5:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue for a lift assist at a residence on County Road 9, Stearns County.

On the 1st at 6:06 p.m. while on patrol a deputy came across a stalled vehicle on Parker Avenue West, Dassel. While on the scene the owner was able to get the vehicle running and moved it from the roadway.

On the 1st at 7:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint northbound on MN Highway 4 from County State Aid Highway 23, Acton Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle had left the area.

On the 1st at 7:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call that came from a residence on 590th Avenue, Cedar Mills Township.

On the 1st at 8:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of illegal dumping at the intersection of 150th Street and 545th Avenue, Cosmos Township. The Meeker County Highway Department was contacted to remove the items from the ditch.

On the 1st at 8:15 p.m. while on patrol a deputy found a box of new towels on MN Highway 22 near 240th Street, Litchfield Township. The deputy located a shipping label on the box and delivered them to the owner.

On the 1st 8:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker Memorial Hospital with a transport to New Ulm.

On the 1st at 8:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a person under the influence at an address on County State Aid Highway 34, Litchfield. Upon arrival, Doreen Kay Sproul, age 59, of Litchfield was arrested for a violation of probation.

On the 1st at 9:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department an address on North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 1st at 10:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker Memorial Hospital with at transport to Maple Grove.

On the 1st at 11:05 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car/deer accident on MN Highway 4 near 260th Street, Acton Township. There were no injuries and the deputy escorted the vehicle back to an address in Litchfield.
