Sunday, June 21, 2015

On the 21st at 12:57 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at Ness Church, 580th Avenue, Litchfield Township. The deputies checked the church and property and found all to be okay.

On the 21st at 1:10 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up call at Shorty & Lia’s Laborer’s Lounge, Central Avenue North, City of Watkins. With the assistance of the Eden Valley Police Department, it was determined a fight had occurred and assistance was provided.

On the 21st at 1:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a report of a fight at Kicker’s Bar & Grill, US Highway 12, Litchfield Township. With the assistance of the Litchfield and Eden Valley Police Departments, a report was filed and one individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 21st at 3:00 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist with security at the Meeker Memorial Hospital, South Sibley Avenue, City of Litchfield.

On the 21st at 8:05 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 hang up call from a residence on MN Highway 15, Dassel Township. Everything was found to be okay.

On the 21st at 11:09 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at the Holiday station on US Highway 12 in Litchfield. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 21st at 12:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at the Dassel Lakeside Community Homes on William Avenue East in Dassel. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 21st at 2:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Dassel Fire Department to a fire alarm at the Dassel Lakeside Community Homes on William Avenue East in Dassel. The alarm was found to be a false alarm.

On the 21st at 2:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received the report of a lost child at a residence on 608th Avenue in Greenleaf Township. The child was located prior to the caller hanging up and everything was found to be okay.

On the 21st at 4:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity outside the Dassel Liquor store in Dassel. Upon the arrival of the deputy everything was found to be okay.

On the 21st at 6:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Golf Terrace, City of Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 21st at 7:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office observed an occupied stalled vehicle near the intersection of MN Highway 22 and County State Aid Highway 16, Harvey Township. The deputy assisted in moving the vehicle off the roadway and getting the tire changed.

On the 21st at 7:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to check the welfare of an individual at a residence on Atlantic Avenue West, City of Grove City. The deputy made contact with the two individuals and found all to be okay.

On the 21st at 8:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a northbound driving complaint in the area of MN Highway 15 and County State Aid Highway 4, Collinwood Township. The deputy checked the area and found that the vehicle had left prior to arrival.

On the 21st at 11:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of two stray horses on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. The deputies, with the assistance of some residents, were able to corral the horses into a pen.

On the 20th at 12:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office for a report of a northbound driving complaint in the area of MN Highway 15 and County State Aid Highway 27, Kingston Township.

On the 20th at 10:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a residence on 729th Avenue, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was okay.

On the 20th at 10:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dog complaint on Astro Boulevard, Cosmos. Upon arrival of the deputy a dog was given to a caregiver until the owner is located.

On the 20th at 10:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at an address on Axel Avenue, Grove City.

On the 20th at 11:39 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on North Armstrong Avenue, Litchfield. No transport was needed.

On the 20th at 1:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance and the Litchfield Rescue Squad to a report of a medical at a residence on West 4th Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 20th at 1:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on MN Highway 15 in Stearns County. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 20th at 2:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on County State Aid Highway 11, Acton Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle was gone.

On the 20th at 3:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance and the Dassel Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on 205th Street, Ellsworth Township. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 20th at 4:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at a residence on East 2nd Street, Litchfield.

On the 20th at 4:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon an unoccupied vehicle that was trespassing at an address on County State Aid Highway 4, Kingston Township. The information was documented.

On the 20th at 5:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for a welfare check at a residence on South Milky Way Street, Cosmos. The deputy made contact with the homeowner who was found to be okay.

On the 20th at 5:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance and the Litchfield Rescue Squad to a medical at an address on County State Aid Highway 11, Darwin Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 20th at 6:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions in the area of County State Aid Highway 9 and US Highway 12, Darwin Township. The deputy checked the area and found that the debris had been removed from the roadway prior to arrival and there were no further issues.

On the 20th at 6:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual at residence on MN Highway 4, Acton Township.

On the 20th at 6:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an off-road driving complaint near a residence on 362nd Street, Forest Prairie Township. The deputy checked the area and found that the dirt bikes had left prior to arrival.

On the 20th at 7:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint near a residence on 608th Avenue, Litchfield Township. The deputy checked the area and found the vehicles had left prior to arrival.

On the 20th at 11:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity on US Highway 12, Darwin Township. The deputies checked the area and found all to be okay.

On the 19th at 12:22 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Nicholas John Gudmundson, age 28, at a residence on Simons Avenue West, Dassel, on warrants out of Wright County and South Dakota.

On the 19th at 12:38 a.m. a Meeker County deputy noticed something suspicious at Farm Rite Equipment, Dassel. He found everything was fine.

On the 19th at 2:44 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up from an unknown location. On call back the caller stated that it was an accidental dial and refused to give his location.

On the 19th at 3:27 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to suspicious noises at a residence on Church Street South, Eden Valley. Upon arrival of the deputies everything appeared to be okay.

On the 19th at 4:10 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical at the Hilltop Care Center, Watkins. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

On the 19th at 6:05 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at the Park Village Apartments on West 7th Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 19th at 8:23 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical on North Oak Street in the City of Kimball. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 19th at 10:14 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Dassel Fire Department to a report of an animal complaint on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy a report was made.

On the 19th at 10:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of harassment at a residence on 3rd Street North, Grove City. Upon arrival of the deputy the individual was advised of their options.

On the 19th at 11:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on 3rd Street South, Grove City. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was okay.

On the 19th at 2:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of a theft at an address on Meeker Stearns Street, Manannah Township.

On the 19th at 3:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance and the Litchfield Rescue Squad to a report of a personal injury accident on US Highway 12, Darwin. No transport was needed and a report was made.

On the 19th at 3:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance and the Litchfield Rescue Squad to a report of a medical on East 5th Street, Litchfield. No transport was needed.

On the 19th at 4:20 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a driving complaint on County State Aid Highway 27, Kingston Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle was gone.

On the 19th at 5:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of criminal damage to property at an address on North 1st Street, Darwin.

On the 19th at 5:20 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on North Milky Way Street, Cosmos. The deputy made contact with the individual and found all to be okay.

On the 19th at 5:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a stalled vehicle on MN Highway 22, Harvey Township. The deputy provided the driver with directions.

On the 19th at 7:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a report of a person out of control at a residence on South Armstrong Avenue, City of Litchfield.

On the 19th at 7:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a report of an unwanted individual at the Knights Inn, East US Highway 12, City of Litchfield.

On the 19th at 7:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Eden Valley Fire Department for a report of an unattended grass fire in the area of County State Aid Highway 34 and 370th Street, Forest Prairie Township. The Eden Valley Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire without further incident.

On the 19th at 8:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions in the area of MN Highway 4 and US Highway 12, City of Grove City. The deputies, with the assistance of the public, corralled the stray llama and there were no further issues.

On the 19th at 9:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance, Watkins Rescue Squad and Watkins Fire Department for a medical at a residence on Central Avenue North, City of Watkins. One individual was transported to Paynesville Hospital.

On the 19th at 10:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office observed suspicious activity at Windmill Park, Bluebird Lane, City of Grove City. The deputy made contact with two individuals who were advised of park hours and advised to move on.

On the 19th at 11:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of a personal injury accident near the intersection of MN Highway 15 and County Road 147, Maine Prairie Township. One individual was assisted at the scene and there was no transport.

Thursday June 18, 2015

On the 18th at 3:16 a.m. while on patrol a deputy came across an open door at an address on Atlantic Avenue West, Grove City. Everything appeared to be okay and the deputy secured the door.

On the 18th at 8:43 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the public at an address on 683rdAvenue, Forest City, Township.

On the 18th at 9:14 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of possible child abuse/maltreatment at an address on Galigers Lane, Dassel.

On the 18th at 11:01 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at an address on William Avenue East, Dassel. Upon arrival the deputy located and returned the dog to the owner.

On the 18th at 11:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at an address on 380th Street, Forest Prairie Township. Upon arrival the deputy located the owner who then responded to pick up the dog.

On the 18th at 12:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office documented information of a possible theft from a resident on 655th Avenue.

On the 18th at 12:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of an assault that occurred at an address on Atlantic Avenue West, Grove City.

On the 18th at 1:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a burglary at an address on 657th Avenue, Forest Prairie Township.

On the 18th at 1:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue Squad for a medical at an address on 668th Avenue, Forest City Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 18th at 4:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance and Dassel Rescue Squad for a medical at an address on 3rd Street North, Dassel. One individual was treated at the scene and no transport was needed.

On the 18th at 6:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked the welfare of an individual from a residence on 5th Street North, Grove City. Everything was found to be fine.

On the 18th at 6:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical at the Watkins Softball Fields, Watkins. There was no need for a transport.

On the 18th at 7:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 hang-up from the Hilltop Care Center, Watkins. On call back it was determined that everything was okay.

On the 18th at 8:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on South Marshall Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 18th at 9:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a burglary at a residence on County State Aid Highway 18, Ellsworth Township.

On the 17th at 2:11 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on an abandoned vehicle on US Highway 12 and 575th Avenue, Harvey Township. The vehicle was unoccupied and off the roadway.

On the 17th at 3:44 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on a stalled vehicle on US Highway 12, Darwin Township. The driver had help on the way.

On the 17th at 6:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue for a medical at an address on North Austin Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was treated at the scene and no transport was needed.

On the 17th at 7:11 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at an address on Luella Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 17th at 7:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at an address on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 17th at 9:46 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation in their county.

On the 17th at 10:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Cosmos Ambulance for a medical at an address on East Libra Avenue, Cosmos. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 17th at 10:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker County Social Services at an address in the Watkins Trailer Park.

On the 17th at 10:54 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dog bite that occurred at an address on 330th Street, Harvey Township. Upon arrival the deputy picked up the dog, transported it to the pound for quarantine, and filed a report.

On the 17th at 11:46 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a scam attempt at an address on C J Moe Boulevard, Dassel. Upon arrival the deputy advised of options.

On the 17th at 12:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at an address on East Ripley Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 17th at 2:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at an address on Atlantic Avenue East, Dassel. Upon arrival the deputy found everything to be okay.

On the 17th at 2:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the public at an address on West William Street, Darwin.

On the 17th at 4:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a scam attempt at an address on 233rd Street, Darwin Township. The deputy advised of options.

On the 17th at 7:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 255th Street, Dassel Township. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 17th at 10:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 17th at 10:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a noise complaint at a residence on 5th Street South, Grove City. Upon arrival of the deputies the residents were given a warning.

On the 16th at 2:13 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Fire Department, Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a two vehicle accident on US Highway 12 and 650th Avenue, Darwin Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital. Christopher John Robert, age 27, of Watkins, was arrested pending DWI charges.

On the 16th at 4:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 250th Street, Litchfield Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 16th at 8:33 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of mailbox damage at an address on County State Aid Highway 34, Darwin Township.

On the 16th at 10:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the public at an address on MN Highway 4, Swede Grove Township.

On the 16th at 11:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint on County State Aid Highway 11, Acton Township. Upon arrival the deputy was able to herd the loose goats back to the owner’s property.

On the 16th at 11:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at an address on Church Street, Watkins. Upon arrival of the ambulance it was determined everything was okay and no transport was needed.

On the 16th at 1:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department at an address on East US Highway 12, Litchfield.

On the 16th at 4:05 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue for a medical at an address on East 10th Street, Litchfield. One individual was treated at the scene and no transport was needed.

On the 16th at 4:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at an address on East 3rd Street, Litchfield.

On the 16th at 7:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car/deer accident on County State Aid Highway 20 and Tri County Road, Union Grove Township. No injuries were reported.

On the 16th at 7:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Cosmos Police Department on MN Highway 7 West of Corvuso.

On the 16th at 7:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department in the area of North Austin Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 16th at 7:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on East South Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 16th at 8:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at the Watkins Liquor Warehouse on MN Highway 55, Watkins.

On the 16th at 8:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on MN Highway 22 and 205th Street, Greenleaf Township. The Litchfield Police Department assisted with locating the vehicle.

On the 16th at 8:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker Memorial Hospital with transporting one individual to Woodland Centers in Willmar.

On the 16th at 9:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical on 73rd Avenue, Stearns County. No transport was needed.

On the 15th at 2:56 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Dassel Fire Department for a report of heavy smoke between Farm Rite Equipment and Casey’s General Store, Parker Avenue West, City of Dassel. The deputy determined that the compost area was on fire and the Dassel Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire without any complications.

On the 15th at 8:36 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal damage to property at a residence on Edminster Circle, Dassel. A deputy responded and a report will be filed.

On the 15th at 8:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of mailbox damage at a residence on 748th Avenue, Dassel Township.

On the 15th at 9:11 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible vulnerable adult situation at a residence on Kandi Meeker Road, Acton Township.

On the 15th at 10:41 a.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy came across a street sign that had been criminally damaged at the intersection of 742nd Avenue and 275th Street, Dassel Township. Meeker County Highway Department was contacted to replace the sign.

On the 15th at 1:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of trespassing near a residence on 738th Avenue, Dassel Township. The individual was advised it was a civil matter and was advised of their options.

On the 15th at 2:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy Steven Jarl, age 28, of Kimball, on a Wright County warrant.

On the 15th at 2:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to assist in unlocking a vehicle at a residence on 5th Street North, Dassel. The deputy was able to successfully unlock the vehicle.

On the 15th at 2:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public with questions regarding a matter at a residence on 226th Street, Litchfield Township. Individuals were advised of their options.

On the 15th at 4:20 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on northbound MN Highway 15 from the City of Hutchinson. Hutchinson Police Department located and stopped the vehicle before it entered Meeker County.

On the 15th at 4:38 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy came across an abandoned vehicle near the intersection of MN Highway 15 and 700th Avenue, Collinwood Township. The vehicle was secure and not a road hazard.

On the 15th at 5:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department with a domestic situation at the Lake Ripley Resort Motel, South Sibley Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 15th at 5:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call from an area in Union Grove Township. All was found to be okay.

On the 15th at 5:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at Lake Ripley Resort Motel, South Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. A courtesy ride was given to an individual.

On the 15th at 7:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a car/ deer accident on MN Highway 55 and 647th Avenue, Forest Prairie Township. The caller was transferred to MN State Patrol.

On the 15th at 7:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of County State Aid Highway 9, Ellsworth Township. The deputy checked and the vehicle is no longer in the area.

On the 15th at 7:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the MN State Patrol on MN Highway 55, Forest Prairie Township.

On the 15th at 7:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical on at Emmaus Place on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. No transport was needed.

On the 15th at 9:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a car/deer accident on MN Highway 7 and 620th Avenue, Cedar Mills. The caller was transferred to MN State Patrol.
