On the 25th at 7:20 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of possible child abuse occurring in another county.
On the 25th at 7:54 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm on 323rd Street, South Haven. Upon arrival the deputy everything was found to be secure.
On the 25th at 8:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 hang up from a deactivated cell phone in the Litchfield area.
On the 25th at 8:45 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of an alarm at a residence on 330th Street, Watkins. Upon the deputy’s arrival everything was found to be secure.
On the 25th at 9:35 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a call requesting information on a snowmobile ordinances in Dassel. The Deputy advised the caller.
On the 25th at 9:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on North Holcombe, Litchfield. The party was assisted at the scene.
On the 25th at 10:38 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office transferred a 9-1-1 call of a stopped motorist to Renville County concerning bad visibility due to blowing snow.
On the 25th at 11:28 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an alarm on MN Highway 24, Kimball. The deputy advised that it was accidentally set off and all was ok.
On the 25th at 2:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue to a medical at a residence on 250th Street. The party was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 25th at 3:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 hang up from a residence on Todd Street, Dassel. Deputy advised everything was okay.
On the 25th at 4:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a burglary from a residence on 724th Avenue, Dassel.
On the 25th at 5:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stop arm violation that occurred on Todd Street and Parker Avenue West, Dassel.
On the 25th at 5:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious vehicle on Maple Lane, Grove City. The deputy found that it was somebody visiting in the area.
On the 25th at 5:38 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of vehicles being stuck in the area of County State Aid Highway 28 and 610th Avenue, Litchfield. The deputy found that the vehicles were gone from the scene and County Highway was called to open the road at this location.
On the 25th at 7:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle that was stalled on MN Hwy 55 and 657th Avenue, Watkins. The vehicle was not occupied and was off the roadway.
On the 25th at 8:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public with a request for a welfare check on a person who lives in Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Police was notified of the call and the party was also given the phone number for the Minneapolis Police.
On the 25th at 10:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle that was stuck in the roadway. The driver of the vehicle got it removed.
On the 25th at 11:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on 730th Avenue, Kimball. The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle and there appeared to be no suspicious activity in the area.
On the 26th at 6:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 hang up call at a residence on 730th Avenue, Dassel. Upon call back the caller advised it was a misdial.
On the 26th at 8:44 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a medical situation on US Highway 12, Atwater. The call was transferred to Kandiyohi County.
On the 26th at 11:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an animal complaint on 670th Street, Darwin. Upon deputy’s arrival everything was found to be fine.
On the 26th at 12:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on US Highway 12, Litchfield. The information was passed on to the MN State Patrol.
On the 26th at 1:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to unlock a vehicle at a residence on 5th Street South, Dassel. A tow truck was called to assist.
On the 26th at 2:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person from a residence on 553rd Avenue, Grove City. Prior to the deputy’s arrival the person was located.
On the 26th at 2:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a dog complaint on 243rd Street, Litchfield. A male reddish brown lab was transported to the dog pound.
On the 26th at 3:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on US Highway 12, Grove City. The vehicle was not a hazard and later removed.
On the 26th at 4:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Fire for a fire alarm at a business on 615th Avenue, Litchfield. It was found to be a false alarm and units were cancelled prior to arrival.
On the 26th at 4:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Ashley Marie Ogdahl, age 20, of Grove City, on a Renville County warrant at a residence on Maple Lane in Grove City.
On the 26th at 5:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a parking violation in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins. Upon the deputies’ arrival the vehicle had been moved.
On the 26th at 5:42 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a disturbance on 373rd Street, Eden Valley. The deputy mediated the situation.
On the 26th at 5:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to suspicious activity on 677th Avenue, Watkins. The deputy found that all was ok at the residence and took a report.
On the 26th at 6:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle that was out on Star Lake and may need assistance. The deputy found that a pickup had broken through the slush on the lake. The deputy stood by until the vehicle had been removed.
On the 26th at 7:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with a civil issue at a residence on County State Aid Highway 27, Dassel. The deputy took a report.
On the 26th at 7:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on US Highway 12 and 560th Avenue, Grove City. The deputy warned the driver about his driving conduct.
On the 26th at 7:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a suspicious vehicle at a business on MN Highway 55, Watkins. The deputy checked the vehicle and found that all was ok.
On the 26th at 8:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon an unoccupied vehicle parked at the Watkins Elementary School, Watkins. The deputy noted nothing suspicious.
On the 26th at 8:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted a person with locating a residence on Axel Avenue East, Grove City.
On the 26th at 10:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a domestic on 1st Street North, Dassel. Jonathan Taylor Tanner, age 18, was arrested for 5th degree domestic assault and terroristic threats.
On the 26th at 10:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Police, Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue to a report of a snowmobile accident on Evergreen Court, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.
On the 26th at 10:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a suspicious vehicle near a residence on 280th Street, Grove City. The deputy located the vehicle and spoke to the driver.
On the 27th at 8:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity that occurred at a residence on 315th Street, Litchfield.
On the 27th at 9:03 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft that occurred at a business on West Atlantic Avenue, Grove City.
On the 27th at 9:09 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft that occurred at a residence on County State Aid Highway 2, Watkins.
On the 27th at 11:47 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a vulnerable adult at a residence on William Avenue East, Dassel.
On the 27th at 1:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on a suspicious vehicle on County State Aid Highway 2, Watkins. The deputy advised that the driver stopped to use their cell phone.
On the 27th at 2:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual at a residence on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin. The deputy advised that the party would handle the matter on his own.
On the 27th at 3:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office referred information of a stalled vehicle on MN Highway 15 onto the MN State Patrol.
On the 27th at 5:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft from a business on Atlantic Avenue East, Grove City.
On the 27th at 7:08 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call from a residence at a 3rd Street, Atwater. The call was transferred to Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s office.
On the 27th at 8:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of an animal complaint from a residence on Western Avenue North, Watkins. A stray cat was brought to the pound.
On the 27th at 10:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue for a medical at an address on 4th Street West, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 28th at 7:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident on County State Aid Highway 34, Litchfield.
On the 28th at 7:36 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a found bicycle at the intersection of MN Highway 24 and 620th Street, Litchfield. The bicycle was taken to the impound.
On the 28th at 8:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Atlantic Avenue East, Dassel. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 28th at 8:13 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a found license plate in a parking lot on William Ave East, Dassel. The plate was returned to the owner.
On the 28th at 8:51 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft at a business on County State Aid Highway 42, Litchfield.
On the 28th at 9:46 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a request to assist the public at a residence on 300th Street, Grove City. The deputy answered the party’s questions.
On the 28th at 10:38 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on East 1st Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 28th at 12:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a driving complaint on US Highway 12, Litchfield. Upon the deputy’s arrival the area was clear.
On the 28th at 1:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a driving complaint on US Highway 12, Dassel. The deputy located the vehicle and a citation was issued.
On the 28th at 3:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Patrick Rodney Hoecke, age 23, of Grove City, on a Meeker County warrant at a residence on 5th Street South, Grove City.
On the 28th at 5:01 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 362nd Street, Watkins. The individual was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
On the 28th at 5:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Fire to a residence on West Darwin Street, Litchfield for a gas odor. Everything was found to be fine.
On the 28th at 7:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stalled vehicle on County State Aid Highway 34, Litchfield. A deputy responded and found everything to be okay.
On the 28th at 9:15 p.m. a deputy reported an abandoned vehicle on County State Aid Highway 1, Litchfield. The deputy determined the vehicle was secure and not a road hazard.
On the 28th at 9:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a deactivated cellular 9-1-1 hang up call from the area of 240 Street and 710 Avenue, Dassel.
On the 29th at 12:03 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Fire to a garage fire at a residence on 309th Street, Dassel. The fire started in a trash container. There were no vehicles in the garage, but there was a substantial amount of damage to the building.
On the 29th at 12:35 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary alarm at an address on MN Highway 4, Grove City. A deputy responded and found the building secure and everything ok.
On the 29th at 5:12 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at a residence on 380th Street, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.
On the 29th at 6:32 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Fire for a fire in a furnace and smoke in the house at a residence on State Street South, Eden Valley.
On the 29th at 7:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang up call from the area of 220th Street and 540th Avenue, Dassel. The Deputy spoke with the caller who was having problems with their vehicle. The individual had help on the way.
On the 29th at 8:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious text messages received at a residence on 702nd Avenue, Dassel.
On the 29th at 11:05 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information on a female walking on MN Highway 15 and 205th Street, Dassel. The information was passed along to the MN State Patrol.
On the 29th at 12:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information from McLeod County that an individual hit a deer on County State Aid Highway 15 and Common Street, Dassel. McLeod Co assisted and issued a deer tag.
On the 29th at 1:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang up call from a residence on Simons Avenue, Dassel. A deputy checked the residence and all was fine.
On the 29th at 2:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a fish house burglary on Long Lake, Dassel.
On the 29th at 6:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a stalled vehicle at the intersection of US Highway 12 and MN Highway 15, Dassel. A deputy assisted by calling a tow to have the vehicle removed from the roadway.
On the 29th at 6:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance, per the request of Stearns County, to a medical at a residence 185th Street, Kimball. The ambulance was canceled a short time later by Stearns County.
On the 29th at 7:20 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Dassel Rescue to a medical at the Dassel Cokato Junior/Senior High School, Cokato. Dassel Rescue assisted at the scene.
On the 29th at 8:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a driving complaint in the area of MN Highway 7 and 590th Avenue, Cosmos. A deputy checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicle. Information was also forward on to the MN State Patrol.
On the 29th at 8:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon an abandoned vehicle in the area of County State Aid Highway 18 and MN Highway 22, Litchfield. The vehicle was secure and off the roadway and was not a hazard.
On the 29th at 9:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist Eden Valley Police with a dog bite and dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance for the medical on Meeker Avenue West, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.
On the 29th at 9:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft by check from a business on 3rd Street North, Dassel.
On the 29th at 11:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon an abandoned vehicle in the area of County State Aid Highway 28 and MN Highway 22, Litchfield. A deputy made contact with the individual who removed the vehicle from the roadway.
On the 30th at 3:02 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical on Guy Street, Dassel. No transport was needed; patient was treated at the scene.
On the 30th at 4:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Central Avenue North, Watkins. One individual was transported to Paynesville Hospital.
On the 30th at 9:20 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Cosmos Ambulance to a medical on Libra Avenue, Cosmos. One individual was transported to Hutchinson Hospital.
On the 30th at 9:51 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted a delivery driver with finding an address on 233rd Street, Darwin.
On the 30th at 10:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of juvenile trouble at a residence on 700th Avenue, Kimball.
On the 30th at 1:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office advised an individual with options with a possible scam attempt on 587th Avenue, Eden Valley.
On the 30th at 2:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of an injured deer on MN Highway 15, Dassel. The information was passed along to the MN State Patrol.
On the 30th at 2:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident on County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield.
On the 30th at 3:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check on 2nd Street, Dassel. All was found to be okay.

On the 30th at 5:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical on 8th Street, Litchfield. No transport was needed.
On the 30th at 5:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the St Patrol with a hit and run on US Highway 12 and County State Aid Highway 14.
On the 30th at 7:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a theft report from a business on Parker Avenue West, Dassel.
On the 30th at 7:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call from an area of County State Aid Highway 31 and County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield. A deputy checked the area as well as a residence and found all to be okay.
On the 30th at 9:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Adriana Galaz, age 35, of Litchfield, on a McLeod County warrant for failing to appear on a driving while intoxicated charge.
On the 30th at 10:45 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a stalled vehicle in the area of County State Aid Highway 1 and County State Aid Highway 28, Litchfield. A deputy made contact with the owner who removed the vehicle from the roadway.
On the 30th at 11:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Wright County in attempting to locate a vehicle in the area of US Highway 12 and 745th Avenue, Dassel. A deputy checked the area and all was clear.
On the 31st at 12:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an animal complaint on MN Highway 15, Dassel. A deputy put down an injured deer and issued a deer tag possession tag.
On the 31st at 1:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a suspicious vehicle at Woodland Park, Dassel. A deputy advised the individuals of the park hours and to move on.
On the 31st at 1:35 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department with a traffic stop in the area of MN Highway 22, Eden Valley.
On the 31st at 2:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance at a business on US Highway 12, Litchfield. Deputies arrived, mediated the situation, and the individuals left the property.
On the 31st at 9:45 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical on Luella Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.
On the 31st at 10:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical on Meeker Avenue South, Watkins. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.
On the 31st at 3:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Scott Schmidt, age 21, of Litchfield, on a Stearns County warrant for 4th Degree Criminal Damage.
On the 31st at 3:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding threats at a residence on Hyneman Avenue, Eden Valley. The information was forwarded to Stearns County.
On the 31st at 6:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information about a car/deer accident that occurred on MN Highway 15 and County State Aid Highway 24, Dassel. The deer was off the roadway and not a hazard.
On the 31st at 6:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of Stearns County, to a medical at Powder Ridge, Kimball. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.
On the 31st at 11:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a stalled vehicle in the area of 365th Street and MN Highway 4, Paynesville. A deputy made contact with the owner who will have the vehicle removed in the morning.
On the 31st at 11:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of 3rd Street and Atlantic Avenue, Grove City. A deputy made contact with the driver who was okay.
