TUESDAY, APRIL 19

9:04 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on North High Drive, north of Hutchinson. There was no transport.

9:51 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a report of garbage dumped in the area of 200th Street and Lace Avenue, northeast of Hutchinson. The deputy completed a form to have the solid waste department pick up the items.

9:55 a.m. — A deputy conducted a requested welfare check of a resident on Vista Road, northwest of Hutchinson.

6:33 p.m. — A deputy checked on a vehicle parked in the roadway in the area of Oday Avenue and 50th Street, southeast of Brownton. The owner could not be found and the vehicle was towed.

6:47 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Minnesota State Patrol, Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Renville County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit and Allina Ambulance all assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a vehicle pursuit on Major Avenue, northwest of Hutchinson. The vehicle crashed in the area of 230th Street and County Road 7, northeast of Hutchinson. The driver fled, and as of Tuesday morning, April 19, had not been found.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20

6:21 a.m. — Loose sheep were reported in the area of 180th Street and Vale Avenue, west of Hutchinson. The owners were contacted and corralled the sheep.

10:06 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Silver Lake First Responders and Silver Lake Ambulance responded to a medical at a residence on Highway 7, west of Silver Lake. The person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

6:26 p.m. — A deputy responded to a juvenile complaint at a residence on 210th Street, north of Hutchinson. A deputy spoke with the parents.

9:04 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Silver Lake First Responders and Silver Lake Ambulance responded to a medical at a residence on Highway 7, west of Silver Lake. The person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

THURSDAY, APRIL 21

2:36 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with an accident in the area of Highway 15 S and Edmonton Avenue in Hutchinson. There were no injuries. A deputy took a driver to her home in New Auburn.

2:41 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Silver Lake First Responders and Silver Lake Ambulance responded to a medical at a residence on Highway 7, west of Hutchinson. One person was taken by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.

4:34 a.m. — A report was received of a male walking in the rain in the area of Jefferson Road and Page Avenue, south of Hutchinson. A deputy gave the person a ride home.

8:25 a.m. — A deputy removed debris from the roadway in the area of Major Avenue and 180th Street, southwest of Silver Lake.

8:43 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on 196th Road, west of Hutchinson.

10:34 a.m. — A report of property damage was received from an address on Jade Avenue, south of Silver Lake. A responding deputy found no damage.

7:08 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a fight at an apartment complex on Newton Avenue N in Glencoe. Deputies arrested one person on an outstanding Scott County warrant.

10:51 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Winsted Police Department with a report of a juvenile missing from a residence on Zion Avenue S. The juvenile was not found at this time, and the Winsted officer filed a runaway report.

11:08 p.m. — A deputy responded to a car-deer accident in the area of Adams Street and Airport Road, southeast of Hutchinson. There were no injuries.

FRIDAY, APRIL 22

6:22 a.m. — The sheriff’s office and county highway department assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with removing debris on the road in the area of Highway 22 and 120th Street, northwest of Glencoe.

7:11 a.m. — A deputy checked on a motorist in the area of Chandler Avenue N and 13th Street E in Glencoe, and assisted the driver in moving their disabled vehicle off the street to a safer location.

8:24 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with an accident in the area of 16th Street E and Ford Avenue N in Glencoe. There were no injuries.

10:36 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a grass fire in the area of Highway 22 and 160th Street, southeast of Hutchinson. The landowner was having a controlled burn and everything was fine.

10:13 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Winsted Police Department with a possible burglary at a residence on Lake Drive in Winsted.

SATURDAY, APRIL 23

1:47 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Brownton Police Department with a verbal domestic at a residence on Sixth Avenue S in Brownton. The situation was mediated.

6:56 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a vehicle parked facing the wrong way on the road in the area of 220th Street and Killdeer Avenue, northwest of Silver Lake. The vehicle’s owner was contacted and moved the vehicle.

8:39 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with an unwanted person at a business on Ninth Street E in Glencoe. The situation was mediated and the person left.

10:18 a.m. — A deputy responded to a report of a fire near a residence on Highway 22, southeast of Hutchinson. It was a controlled burn and was being watched.

4:11 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on 196th Road, west of Hutchinson. The person was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson hospital.

7:53 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a shoplifting incident at a business on Main Street N in Hutchinson.

8:09 p.m. — A deputy took a damage to property report at a residence on Herbert Street in Stewart.

9:09 p.m. — A deputy assisted the Hutchinson Police Department with a hit-and-run accident on Fourth Avenue W in Hutchinson.

11:33 p.m. — A deputy responded to a loud-noise complaint on Powers Street in Stewart.

SUNDAY, APRIL 24

8:30 a.m. — Dead rodents were reported in a ditch in the area of Highway 15 and 110th Street, northwest of Brownton. They did not appear to be a hazard.

8:58 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department and Allina Ambulance with a medical at a business on 13th Street E in Glencoe. A person was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

2:03 p.m. — Christopher Lee Roush, 24, of New Auburn, was arrested after being stopped on a driving complaint in the area of 30th Street and Leaf Avenue, southeast of Brownton. Roush allegedly had no license and no insurance on the vehicle, and was arrested on repeated citations and taken to the McLeod County Jail.

3:21 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Sibley County Sheriff’s office with a welfare check on a person on Highway 22, southwest of Glencoe.

7:56 p.m. — Loose cows were reported in the area of County Road 9 and Highway 7, north of Lester Prairie. The animals were rounded up.

10:09 p.m. — The sheriff’s office received a report of a semi parked on the side of a road with no lights on in the area of Highway 7 and Memory Circle, east of Hutchinson. A deputy checked on the driver, who was waiting until morning to make a delivery. The deputy asked the driver to park in a safer location.

11:57 p.m. — A deputy checked on a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Highway 212 and Lace Avenue, east of Brownton. There were no injuries, and minor damage to the vehicle, which was pulled from the ditch. The deputy issued citations.

MONDAY, APRIL 25

12:47 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a male who would not leave a business on Greeley Avenue in Glencoe. The man was taken to the Brown County Detox Facility in New Ulm.

12:43 p.m. — A deputy conducted a requested welfare check on an individual on Essex Court, northeast of Glencoe. The person was fine.

1:49 p.m. — A deputy took a report of an assault and harassment that had occurred earlier at a residence on Falcon Avenue, south of Glencoe.

4:32 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with an intoxicated male outside a business on Greeley Avenue in Glencoe. The Minnesota State Patrol and Allina Ambulance also assisted, and the male was taken to the Glencoe hospital.

7:37 p.m. — A person was reported missing from an address on Major Avenue, northeast of Hutchinson. The individual was found.

10:25 p.m. — The Hutchinson Fire Department and the sheriff’s office responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at a residence on 170th Street, southeast of Hutchinson. The problem was found and corrected, and there were no injuries.

11:25 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, assisted by the Glencoe Police Department, responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on McLeod Avenue N in Plato. A deputy took a female to the Glencoe hospital for evaluation.
