Sunday, February 22, 2015

On the 22nd at 3:01 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stranded motorist on MN Highway 24, City of Litchfield. The deputy assisted the motorist in getting gas and the motorist was back on their way home.

On the 22nd at 7:03 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint on US Highway 12, Darwin Township. The owner was contacted and took care of the horses that were near the roadway.

On the 22nd at 7:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at the Lake Union Evangelical Covenant Church, County State Aid Highway 19, North Kingston Township. The deputy was canceled a short time later as it was a false alarm.

On the 22nd at 7:36 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at an alarm at Doug’s Auto Repair, North Ramsey Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 22nd at 7:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Watkins Rescue to a medical at a residence on 133rd Avenue, Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 22nd at 8:23 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at the Ness Church, 580th Avenue, Litchfield Township. The deputy found everything to be okay at the church.

On the 22nd at 10:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office located an abandoned vehicle on MN Highway 4, Union Grove Township. The vehicle was a road hazard and towed from the scene.

On the 22nd at 11:06 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a motor vehicle accident where the vehicle had burned up and the vehicle had been abandoned, on 205th Street, Ellsworth Township. Litchfield Rescue was dispatched to assist but was canceled a short time later. The Litchfield Police Department also assisted on the scene.

On the 22nd at 12:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on East Crescent Lane, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 22nd at 12:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information on harassment at a residence on Church Street, Watkins. The individual was advised of their options.

On the 22nd at 2:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a lift assist at a residence on East 2nd Street, Litchfield.

On the 22nd at 3:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department with a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order Violation at a residence on Brooks Street South, Eden Valley. William Lee McCann, age 41, of Eden Valley, was arrested for the violation.

On the 22nd at 4:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department with a hit and run vehicle at the Lake Ripley Resort Motel, 1205 South Sibley Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 22nd at 4:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on 208th Street, Ellsworth Township. The dog was gone upon the deputy’s arrival.

On the 22nd at 5:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office with an issue at the Triple R Grill and Bar, Maus Drive, Kimball. The deputy was canceled a short time later.

On the 22nd at 5:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office picked up a found item that was left at the Casey’s General Store, Parker Avenue West, Dassel. The deputy contacted the owner to advise the location of the found property.

On the 22nd at 5:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suicide threats at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Court, City of Watkins. The deputy made contact with individuals involved and determined it was a misunderstanding and all were okay.

On the 22nd at 7:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stalled vehicle on MN Highway 22, Greenleaf Township. The deputy made contact with the driver who already had a tow on the way and assisted with traffic control while the vehicle was removed from the roadway.

On the 21st at 12:16 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a medical at a residence on Hidden Lane, Fairhaven Township. One individual was assisted at the scene and no transport was needed.

On the 21st at 5:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on North Ramsey Avenue, City of Litchfield. One individual was assisted at the scene and no transport was needed.

On the 21st at 10:01 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office located an abandoned vehicle on County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield Township. The vehicle was off the roadway and not a hazard.

On the 21st at 11:22 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft from a property on MN Highway 55, Manannah Township.

On the 21st at 11:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department with an unwanted individual at the Corner Bar, Stearns Avenue West, Eden Valley

On the 21st at 12:45 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on State Street North, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 21st at 12:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a transport from the Hilltop Care Center, Luella Street, Watkins, to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 21st at 1:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Central Avenue South, Watkins. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Paramedic’s also assisted on the scene.

On the 21st at 2:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a suicidal individual at a residence on North Marshall Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Paramedic’s also assisted on the scene.

On the 21st at 6:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Rescue Squad and Hutchinson Allina Ambulance for a medical at a residence on County State Aid Highway 18, Collinwood Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 21st at 6:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with transporting an individual from Meeker Memorial Hospital to Willmar Woodlands Crisis Center.

On the 21st at 7:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist with a report of a hit and run accident at Super America, East Depot Street, City of Litchfield.

On the 21st at 7:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at Mies Outland, West MN Highway 55, City of Watkins. The deputies located the vehicle and determined all was okay.

Friday February 20, 2015

On the 20th at 5:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Dassel Rescue for a medical at an address on 229th Street, Dassel Township. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 20th at 6:38 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle off the roadway on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. There were no injuries reported. The vehicle was towed from the ditch.

On the 20th at 8:06 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a driving complaint east bound on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. The information was passed on to the MN State Patrol.

On the 20th at 9:10 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on 586th Avenue, Greenleaf Township. The deputy spoke to the owner of the dog and advised them of the complaint.

On the 20th at 9:22 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft from a residence on Atlantic Avenue West, Dassel.

On the 20th at 9:39 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the MN State Patrol at a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of MN Highway 24 and County State Aid Highway 34, Darwin Township. Litchfield Rescue, Litchfield Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance were dispatched to the scene. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital. The Litchfield Police Department also assisted on the scene.

On the 20th at 10:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint on 3rd Street North, Dassel. The dog was returned to the owners.

On the 20th at 11:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Linden Avenue West, Kimball, Stearns County. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 20th at 12:08 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information on a dog complaint at a residence on East Curran Street, Darwin.

On the 20th at 12:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information on a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call at a residence on 275th Street, Dassel. It was determined that it was a misdial and everything was okay at the residence.

On the 20th at 3:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Fire Department to a carbon monoxide alarm at a residence on West 5th Street, Litchfield. The fire department found that it was a faulty alarm.

On the 20th at 3:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for a deer possession tag near a residence on 615th Avenue, Litchfield Township.

On the 20th at 4:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at Lakeview Ranch, MN Highway 15, Dassel Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 20th at 4:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information on a driving complaint northbound on County State Aid Highway 34, Harvey Township.

On the 20th at 5:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross ambulance for a medical at Lincoln Apartments, West 4th Street, City of Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 20th at 5:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions in the area of 250th Street and County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin Township. The deputy checked the area and found all to be okay.

On the 20th at 6:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a medical at Powder Ridge Ski Hill, 93rd Avenue, Kimball. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.

On the 20th at 7:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of mailbox damage at a residence on 590th Avenue, Cedar Mills Township. The deputy checked and determined a new mailbox was in place and there was no loss of mail.

On the 20th at 7:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a possible Order for Harassment Violation at a residence on North Sibley Avenue, City of Litchfield.

On the 20th at 7:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding a suspicious phone call at a residence on County State Aid Highway 21, Kingston Township.

On the 20th at 9:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for a deer possession tag in the area of County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield Township. The deputy made contact with an individual who located the dead deer and a deer possession tag was issued.

Thursday February 19, 2015

On the 19th at 2:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for a welfare check at an address on County State Aid Highway 17, Forest Prairie Township. Upon arrival the deputy found everything to be okay.

On the 19th at 5:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at an address on East Frontage Road, Litchfield.

On the 19th at 6:01 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Cosmos Fire Department and Grove City Fire Department to a barn fire on 515th Avenue, Cosmos Township. Cosmos Ambulance and the Grove City Rescue Squad also responded to assist. The small barn, approximately 30’ x 50’, including the contents valued at $15,000, was a total loss and a report will be filed. No animals were lost.

On the 19th at 7:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on East Nelson Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 19th at 9:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at Red Goat, Central Avenue North, Watkins. The deputy was canceled prior to arrival as it was a false alarm.

On the 19th at 10:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 233rd Street, Dassel Township. No transport was needed as it was a lift assist only.

On the 19th at 2:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Fire Department to a fire alarm at Litchfield Mobile Electronics, North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. The fire department was canceled prior to going en route as it was a false alarm.

On the 19th at 3:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. A deputy checked and the vehicle was no longer in the area.

On the 19th at 5:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a hit and run at the Casey’s General Store in Atwater. The caller was transferred to the Kandiyohi Sheriff’s Office.

On the 19th at 5:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Kandiyohi Sheriff’s Office at an address on 2nd Street South, Grove City.

On the 19th at 6:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the RR crossing on 560th Street, Acton Township. Upon arrival of the deputies the vehicle had left the area.

On the 19th at 6:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at an address on 650th Avenue, Forest City Township. The deputy transported a gray Shih Tzu to the pound.

On the 19th at 7:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a lift assist at an address on East 2nd Street, Litchfield.

On the 19th at 8:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at an address on East 3rd Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 19th at 9:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for a vehicle unlock at an address on MN Highway 4, Acton Township. Upon arrival the deputy successfully opened the vehicle.

On the 19th at 10:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint eastbound on County State Aid Highway 6, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicles had left the area.

On the 18th at 2:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on East South Street, Litchfield. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 18th at 8:36 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on South Davis Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 18th at 9:21 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Sunrise Drive, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 18th at 9:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of a burglary from a farm site on 185th Street, Collinwood Township.

On the 18th at 10:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting unsafe conditions on MN Highway 7, Cedar Mills Township. The caller was transferred to the MN State Patrol.

On the 18th at 11:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical alarm at a residence on 233rd Street, Dassel Township. No transport was needed as it was a lift assist only.

On the 18th at 11:57 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call in regards to an animal complaint in Kandiyohi County. The caller was transferred to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.

On the 18th at 12:08 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to assist in unlocking a vehicle at a residence on 5th Street North, Dassel. The deputy was able to successfully unlock the vehicle.

On the 18th at 12:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and assisted the MN State Patrol with a two-vehicle property damage accident on MN Highway 15, Dassel Township.

On the 18th at 12:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical alarm at a residence on East Ripley Street, Litchfield. No medical need was found upon arrival.

On the 18th at 12:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of a one-vehicle property damage accident on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. No injuries were reported.

On the 18th at 1:01 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at Minnesota Rubber, Precision Drive, Litchfield. One individual was assisted on scene and refused transport.

On the 18th at 4:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical alarm at a residence on East Ripley Street, Litchfield. No transport was needed as it was a false alarm.

On the 18th at 4:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at the Meeker County Courthouse, North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. All was found to be okay upon arrival.

On the 18th at 5:39 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy came across an abandoned vehicle on US Highway 12, Litchfield Township. The vehicle was not a road hazard.

On the 18th at 8:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public by contacting AAA for a motorist with a dead battery at an address on West Ripley Street, Litchfield.

On the 18th at 9:12 p.m. while on patrol a deputy came across a stalled vehicle on US Highway 12 near 700th Avenue, Dassel Township. The deputy stood by until assistance arrived.

On the 18th at 9:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at an address on MN Highway 15, Dassel Township. Upon arrival the deputy found everything to be okay.

On the 18th at 11:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at an address on North Casey Street, Darwin.

On the 17th at 12:00 a.m. a Meeker County deputy came across a stalled vehicle near MN Highway 24 and County State Aid Highway 27, Forest City Township. The driver had help on the way and the vehicle was not a road hazard.

On the 17th at 2:36 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a lift assist at a residence on West 4th Street, Litchfield.

On the 17th at 6:47 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on County State Aid Highway 18, Collinwood Township. The owner was located and responded to pick up their dog.

On the 17th at 11:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a request to check the welfare of an individual at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins. A deputy responded and found all to be okay.

On the 17th at 11:31 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity near a residence on 233rd Street, Darwin Township.

On the 17th at 11:59 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car/dog accident near the intersection of County State Aid Highway 19 and County State Aid Highway 27, Kingston. The dog ran off and there was only minor damage to the vehicle and no injuries reported.

On the 17th at 1:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of harassment at a residence on 590th Avenue, Cedar Mills Township.

On the 17th at 3:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near a residence on 654th Avenue, Ellsworth Township. All was found to be okay on arrival.

On the 17th at 4:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic situation at a residence on 573rd Avenue, Greenleaf Township. One individual was transported to Woodland Centers, Willmar. A report will be filed.

On the 17th at 6:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stalled vehicle on County State Aid Highway 34, Forest City Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle was determined to not be a hazard and was left on the side of the road.

On the 17th at 7:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Meeker Memorial Hospital by transporting a person to Woodland Centers, Willmar.

On the 17th at 10:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on MN Highway 15, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was found to be fine.

On the 17th at 11:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Eden Valley Rescue Squad and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Maple Street North, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

Monday February 16, 2015

On the 16th at 12:51 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at an address on 240th Street, Dassel Township. Upon arrival the deputy found everything to be okay.

On the 16th at 8:23 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and the Litchfield Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on 300th Street, Harvey Township. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 16th at 9:59 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint on MN Highway 22, Litchfield Township. Upon arrival of the deputy a deer was put down.

On the 16th at 11:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Eden Valley Fire Department to a report of a fire at a residence on Bell Street, Eden Valley. There was minimal damage to the home.

On the 16th at 11:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of unsafe conditions on MN Highway 15, Dassel. The information was forwarded to the MN State Patrol.

On the 16th at 12:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical at the Powder Ridge Ski Hill in Stearns County. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 16th at 1:01 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dog complaint on County State Aid Highway 27, Kingston. Upon arrival of the deputy the owner of the dog was warned to keep it contained.

On the 16th at 4:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance and the Eden Valley Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on Church Street South, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

On the 16th at 5:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from an individual in Wright County. The call was transferred to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.

On the 16th at 5:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on US Highway 12, Dassel. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle was gone.

On the 16th at 7:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin Township.

On the 16th at 8:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Fire Department for a gas odor at a residence on North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. Everything was found to be fine.
