Monday, January 19, 2015

On the 19th at 12:36 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon an abandoned vehicle on MN Highway 15, Dassel. The vehicle was not a road hazard.

On the 19th at 6:31 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Rolling Oaks Lane, Darwin. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 19th at 8:55 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a one-vehicle property damage accident on County State Aid Highway 14 and 675th Avenue, Ellsworth Township. No injuries were reported.

On the 19th at 9:12 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical alarm at a residence at Gloria Dei Manor on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. No transport was needed; it was a false alarm.

On the 19th at 10:03 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on South Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. No transport was needed.

On the 19th at 10:33 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on South Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 19th 2:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on Marshall Avenue, Grove City. The deputy located the dog and returned it to the owner and a warning was issued.

On the 19th at 3:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Cosmos Ambulance to a medical at Cedar Crest on North Neptune Street, Cosmos. One individual was transported to Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 19th at 4:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical in Stearns County at the Kimball High School on MN Highway 55, Kimball. One individual was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.

On the 19th at 4:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on MN Highway 15 at 180th Street, Collinwood Township. The deputy checked and the vehicle was no longer in the area.

On the 19th at 4:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on MN Highway 22, Litchfield Township. An individual was advised of their options.

On the 19th at 6:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Meeker Memorial Hospital with a transport to Hutchinson Hospital Mental Health.

On the 19th at 7:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car/deer accident on County State Aid Highway 34, Forest Prairie Township. No injuries were reported.

On the 19th at 9:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on East Curran Street, Darwin. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 19th at 11:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Oak Street North, Kimball. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

On the 19th at 11:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public with a courtesy ride home from Meeker Memorial Hospital to their residence on East Curran Street, Darwin.

On the 18th at 2:07 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at Gloria Dei Manor, North Holcombe Avenue, City of Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 18th at 4:44 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near a residence on MN Highway 15, North Kingston Township. The deputy checked the area and found all to be okay.

On the 18th at 8:11 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deer on County State Aid Highway 34, Forest Prairie Township. A deer possession tag was issued.

On the 18th at 10:02 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a trailer in the ditch on US Highway 12 and 745th Avenue, Dassel Township. The deputy checked and the trailer was no longer in the area.

On the 18th at 11:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a possible ordinance violation at a residence on 365th Street, Forest Prairie Township.

On the 18th at 11:58 the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an assault at a residence on County State Aid Highway 4, Dassel Township.

On the 18th at 12:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical in Stearns County on 163rd Street and 78th Avenue, Main Prairie Township. One individual was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.

On the 18th at 1:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at Dassel Liquor on Parker Avenue West, Dassel. The deputy checked and the building was all secure.

On the 18th at 3:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on suspicious activity at a residence on State Street, Eden Valley. The deputy spoke to the homeowner and everything was okay.

On the 18th at 5:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog complaint at a residence on 245th Street, Litchfield. Upon arrival of the deputy a young male husky dog was transported to the Meeker County Dog Pound.

On the 18th 5:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of theft at a residence on 110th Street, Cedar Mills Township.

On the 18th at 6:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and took a report of threats at a residence on MN Highway 24, Kingston Township.

On the 18th at 9:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a property damage accident with a raccoon on MN Highway 15, North Kingston Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the animal was gone.

On the 18th at 11:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and the Dassel Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on County State Aid Highway 4, Dassel Township. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 17th at 4:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a report of unwanted individuals at a residence on North Miller Avenue, City of Litchfield.

On the 17th at 5:47 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at Lincoln Apartments, West 4th Street, City of Litchfield. First Responders were canceled prior to arrival by the Litchfield Police Department, as it was determined all was okay and it was a false medical alarm activation.

On the 17th at 7:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an assault at a residence on MN Highway 22, Litchfield Township. Richard Allen Delgado, age 18, of Hutchison, was arrested for 5th Degree Assault and Minor Consumption and transported to the Meeker County Jail.

On the 17th at 8:27 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Eden Valley Rescue Squad and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at the Eden Valley High School, Brooks Street North, Eden Valley. An individual was assisted at the scene and refused transport.

On the 17th at 9:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Hutchinson Rescue Squad and Allina Ambulance to a medical at a residence on County State Aid Highway 26, Cedar Mills Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 17th at 12:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dog complaint at a residence on 675th Avenue, Forest City Township. Upon arrival of the deputy a collie was brought to the Meeker County Pound.

On the 17th at 3:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at a residence on North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 17th at 3:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a report of a stalled vehicle on County State Aid Highway 34, Darwin Township. The vehicle was not a hazard and had help on the way.

On the 17th at 4:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon an unsafe condition on County State Aid Highway 14, Darwin Township. The deputy removed some debris from the road.

On the 17th at 4:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance and the Eden Valley Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on Hillside Drive, Eden Valley. No transport was needed.

On the 17th at 5:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at the Gloria Dei Manor on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 17th at 5:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a stalled vehicle on US Highway 12, Darwin. It was determined everything was okay.

On the 17th at 6:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at the Dassel Apartments, 3rd Street North, City of Dassel. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.

On the 17th at 6:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a southbound driving complaint in the area of County State Aid Highway 2, Forest Prairie Township. The deputy checked the area and found that the vehicle had left prior to arrival.

On the 17th at 7:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a medical at a residence on Hidden Lane, Fairhaven Township. One individual was assisted at the residence and no transport was needed.

On the 17th at 7:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car/deer accident in the area of US Highway 12 and County State Aid Highway 31, Litchfield Township. The deputy checked the area and found the driver had left the scene prior to arrival and the dead deer carcass was off the roadway.

On the 17th at 7:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office for a report of an eastbound driving complaint on US Highway 12, Cokato Township.

On the 17th at 7:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of juvenile trouble at a residence on 573rd Avenue, Greenleaf Township.

On the 17th at 10:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a medical at Powder Ridge Ski Hill, 93rd Avenue, Kimball. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.

On the 17th at 11:37 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Atlantic Avenue East, City of Dassel.

On the 17th at 11:38 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted in transporting a juvenile male from a residence on 573rd Avenue to Willmar Woodlands Crisis Center.

On the 16th at 1:12 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on South Sibley Avenue, City of Litchfield. After investigation the deputy, with the assistance of the Litchfield Police Department, arrested the driver Tony Ortiz, age 47, of Crookston, on pending charges of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety and admit no insurance.

On the 16th at 4:47 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at a residence on 205th Street, Greenleaf Township. The deputy checked the residence and property and found all to be okay.

On the 16th at 7:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of an unwanted individual at a residence on Axel Avenue East, Grove City.

On the 16th at 9:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at the Dassel Medical Clinic on 5th Street North, Dassel. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 16th at 1:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to check the welfare of a party living on County State Aid Highway 3, Manannah Township. The deputy advised that everything was okay on arrival.

On the 16th at 2:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions in the area of a residence on 722nd avenue, Kingston. The deputy advised all was alright upon arrival.

On the 16th at 2:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint on MN Highway 15, Dassel Township. The deputy warned the driver.

On the 16th at 3:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a call on a custody situation at a residence on Summit Cove, Dassel. The deputy advised the party of their options.

On the 16th at 4:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue to a medical at a residence on East St Paul Street, Litchfield. One person was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 16th at 6:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near a residence on 4th Street South, City of Grove City. The deputy made contact with an individual at the house and found all to be okay.

On the 16th at 8:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident near the intersection of MN Highway 22 and 199th Street, Greenleaf Township.

On the 15th at 1:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Fire Department to a possible gas leak at Walmart, East Frontage Road, Litchfield. There was no gas leak found.

On the 15th at 2:20 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department with an alarm at Hug-it Machine Works, East St. Paul Street, Litchfield.

On the 15th at 5:02 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on eastbound US Highway 12, Harvey Township. A deputy checked and the vehicle was no longer in the area.

On the 15th at 8:22 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from an individual in Stearns County. The call was transferred to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.

On the 15th at 11:27 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a civil matter at a residence on 348th Street, Manannah Township. The deputy advised the individual of their options.

On the 15th at 12:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Eden Valley Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence in Stearns County. Upon arrival of the Rescue Squad assistance was provided.

On the 15th at 1:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Cosmos Ambulance to a medical at a residence on North Neptune Street, Cosmos. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 15th at 1:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office along with the CEE VI Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on 608th Avenue, Litchfield Township.

On the 15th at 2:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on 2nd Street South, Grove City.

On the 15th at 5:35 p.m. received a report of a possible harassment violation at a residence in Meeker County. The information was referred to the Atwater Police Department.

On the 15th at 6:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Eden Valley Police Department with a report of a person under the influence at a residence on Brooks Street South, City of Eden Valley. The deputies were canceled prior to arrival.

On the 15th at 7:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at American Time & Signal, 3rd Street South, City of Dassel. The deputy made contact with the cleaning crew and found all to be okay.

On the 15th at 9:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual who had questions regarding a possible violation of an order for protection at a residence on 260th Street, Litchfield Township.

On the 14th at 6:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an animal complaint on County State Aid Highway 4, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the deer had already been moved to the side of the road.

On the 14th at 7:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and the Dassel Rescue Squad to a personal injury accident on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. The MN State Patrol also responded to the scene. One individual was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital and the MN State Patrol will be writing the report.

On the 14th at 8:50 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm in the Meeker County Courthouse on North Ramsey Avenue, Litchfield. Upon arrival of the deputy it was determined to be a false alarm.

On the 14th at 11:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and the Litchfield Rescue Squad to a medical call at a residence on North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. No transport was needed.

On the 14th at 11:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dead deer on County State Aid Highway 4, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy a deer possession tag was issued.

On the 14th at 11:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from an individual in the city of Hutchinson. The call was transferred to the Hutchinson Police Department.

On the 14th at 12:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a locked a vehicle at the Red Rooster Foods on 2nd Street North, Dassel. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle was unlocked.

On the 14th at 1:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a property damage accident on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. The information was documented and the MN State Patrol will be writing the report.

On the 14th at 2:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on 745th Avenue, Dassel Township.

On the 14th at 3:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon a property damage accident on North Ramsey Avenue, Litchfield. The call was referred to the Litchfield Police Department.

On the 14th at 3:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call from a residence on Willis Street, Dassel. The information was documented.

On the 14th at 5:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and the Litchfield Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on North Swift Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 14th at 5:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a westbound driving complaint on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy a warning was issued.

On the 14th at 6:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of harassment at a residence on North Neptune Street, Cosmos. An individual was warned about their behavior.

On the 14th at 7:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to assist in unlocking a vehicle at Snap Fitness, Parker Avenue West, Dassel. The deputy was able to successfully unlock the vehicle.

On the 14th at 7:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car/dog accident on MN Highway 7, Cedar Mills Township. A deputy transported the dog to a veterinarian for emergency care; however upon arrival to the vet the dog had succumbed to its injuries.

On the 14th at 9:56 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft from a fish house on Lake Washington, Dassel Township. No report was requested.

On the 14th at 10:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department on a report of a suspicious vehicle at Subway, East Frontage Road, Litchfield.

On the 14th at 10:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a scam attempt at a residence on Guy Street, Dassel. No loss was reported.

Tuesday January 13, 2015

On the 13th at 5:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 cellular call reporting a vehicle that had blown a tire on MN Highway 7 near County State Aid Highway 35, Cedar Mills Township. Upon arrival the owner advised AAA was en route from Eden Valley. The deputy remained on scene to assist with warning lights.

On the 13th at 7:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of possible welfare fraud at a residence on 397th Street, Union Grove Township.

On the 13th at 7:41 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 hang-up call from ACGC Schools, Grove City. It was determined to be an accidental dial.

On the 13th at 8:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call in the area of US Highway 12 and MN Highway 15, Dassel. A deputy checked the area and didn’t find anything out of the ordinary.

On the 13th at 8:43 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of child maltreatment at a residence on State Street North, Eden Valley. The Sheriff’s Office referred it to the Eden Valley Police Department.

On the 13th at 8:56 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an alarm at a residence on 743rd Avenue, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputies it was found all to be okay.

On the 13th at 9:26 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 hang-up call from ACGC Schools, Grove City. It was determined to be an accidental dial.

On the 13th at 9:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity at a residence on 216th Street, Ellsworth Township.

On the 13th at 10:09 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a property damage accident on Gemini Avenue, Cosmos.

On the 13th at 10:13 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Cosmos Ambulance to a medical at the Cosmos Learning Center, Cosmos. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 13th at 11:12 a.m. a Meeker County deputy came across a stray dog on Todd Street, Dassel and returned it to its owner.

On the 13th at 11:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call from a residence on West McKinney Street, Darwin. The individual was testing the emergency buttons on their phone.

On the 13th at 1:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to check the welfare of a party a residence on 3rd Street South, Grove City. Upon arrival of the deputies everything was found to be fine.

On the 13th at 1:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Eden Valley Rescue Squad and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at Bi Performance, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

On the 13th at 2:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a lost wallet in the Watkins area. A short time later the party reported he had found his wallet.

On the 13th at 2:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at an address on East 4th Street, Litchfield. One individual was assisted with a lift and no transport was needed.

On the 13th at 5:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car/deer accident on MN Highway 24 near 675th Avenue, Forest City Township. There were no injuries and the vehicle was driven from the scene.

On the 13th at 7:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and Litchfield Rescue for a medical at an address on North Ramsey Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital in a private Vehicle.

On the 13th at 8:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Litchfield Police Department at an address on North Ramsey Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 13th at 8:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft from a business on Atlantic Avenue West, Grove City.

On the 13th at 11:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity on Lake Ripley, Litchfield. Upon arrival the deputy found everything to be okay.

On the 12th at 6:02 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Drybrook Road, Eden Lake Township, Stearns County. One individual was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

On the 12th at 7:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Litchfield Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 12th at 7:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on a stalled vehicle on 650th Avenue, Darwin Township. The driver had help on the way.

On the 12th at 11:53 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call for a medical at Crest Healthcare Supply, 3rd Street South, Dassel. Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance were dispatched to the scene. The individual was treated at the scene, there was no transport.

On the 12th at 12:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a driving complaint northbound on MN Highway 15, Collinwood Township. The caller was transferred to the MN State Patrol.

On the 12th at 12:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information on a possible scam attempt at a residence on 698th Avenue, Dassel Township. The individual was advised of their options.

On the 12th at 1:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on East William Street, Darwin. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 12th at 2:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at an address on North Ramsey Avenue, Litchfield.

On the 12th at 3:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a driving complaint on MN Highway 22, Litchfield Township. The information was passed on to the MN State Patrol.

On the 12th at 4:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on MN Highway 24, Kingston Township. The animal was gone upon the deputy’s arrival.

On the 12th at 9:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Cosmos Ambulance for a medical at an address on North Neptune Street, Cosmos. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

On the 12th at 9:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a steer on County State Aid Highway 9, Ellsworth Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the steer had moved off into a grove of trees. The deputy made contact with the owner who was going to round up the animal in the morning.

On the 12th at 9:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an occupied vehicle with its flashers on parked along US Highway 12, Dassel Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the vehicle had left the area.
