Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997 for Sarah W. Cutcher, age 92 of Watertown, Minn. She died Monday, Nov. 24 at Elim Nursing Home in Watertown.
She was born May 23, 1905 at Camden Township, Carver County, Minn., the daughter of William and Rosalie (Schwartz) Lohrke. She was baptized June 24, 1905 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Germany by the Rev. Theodore Rolf and confirmed there May 25, 1919.
On May 28, 1930 she married Norman E. Cutcher in St. Paul in a service officiated by the Rev. Hasse.
Sarah was a member of the Order of Eastern Star-St. Paul Chapter.
She is survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Adeline and Clyde Hoenk of Watertown, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Norman (Shorty), parents and brothers and sisters.
Services were held at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Watertown with the Rev. Charles W. Humphrey officiating.
Interment was at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown.
Casketbearers were Leland Goede, Donald Lohrke, Orville Foust, Howard Pieper, Gene Goede and Todd Kieser.
