Donna Rose Cochran, age 62 of Howard Lake, Minn., died Wednesday, March 18, 1998 at the Hutchinson Community Hospital.
She was born in Winsted on Aug. 20, 1935, the daughter of Paul A. and Florence A. Krekelberg Hertzog.
Donna attended and graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1954.
On June 2, 1956, Donna Hertzog was joined in holy marriage to Gordon J. Cochran at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted.
She was a former employee of the Howard Lake Nursing Home and of Dura Supreme in Howard Lake.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon J. Cochran; four sons and a daughter: Rick (Lisa) Cochran of Wayzata, David (Kristi) Cochran of Cokato, Tim Cochran of Howard Lake, Sue Cochran of Howard Lake, and Mike Cochran of Minneapolis.
Further surviving her are four grandsons: Jeremy, Aaron, Nick, and Justin Cochran; her parents; a sister, Joan Kegler of Savage; and brothers: Lowell Hertzog of Watertown and Tom (Debbie) Hertzog of Freeport.
She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death was an infant son, Marcel Francis Cochran.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna Cochran was held on Saturday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Robert J. Wyffels was the Celebrant and interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Friends called at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted on Friday, March 20, from 4 -9 p.m. A parish scripture service was held at the chapel on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
