Anthony (Tony) Henry Entinger

Anthony (Tony) Henry Entinger was born July 2, 1923 in Earl, Wisc. to Peter and Frances (Quast) Entinger. Following his father's death in 1927, the family moved to Winsted, Minn.

He married Ida Blanchette on Sept. 27, 1947. To this union were born three daughters and three sons. Tony worked at Western Condensing, Pure Milk Products, drove a milk truck, and was a welder for 31 years at Millerbernd Manufacturing in Winsted. He retired in 1985. Tony and Ida spent their retirement traveling, camping, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Tony went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 1998 at 5:40 a.m. at the Cokato Manor. He had reached the age of 74 years, nine months and 24 days.

He is survived by his wife, Ida; children: Joyce and Al Barth of St. Cloud, Sharon and Randy Munson of Rochester, Tom and Carol Entinger of Cokato, Dennis and LuAnn Entinger of Howard Lake, Roger and Julie Entinger of Anoka and Renee and Mel Lahr of Howard Lake.

He is further survived by 22 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother, three sisters, one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law and many relatives and friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers, one sister, and one grandson.

Tony will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him and we rejoice that he is now with the Lord.

Funeral services were held April 29, 1998 at the Howard Lake Christian Church officiated by the Reverend Pat Ridpath. His son, Dennis Entinger provided the music. Interment was in the Howard Lake Cemetery.

Casketbearers were his grandchildren: Wendy Terry, Jody Barth, Russel Munson, Scott Munson, Loren Entinger, Philip Entinger, Erik Entinger, Christopher Entinger, Jake Entinger, Ronnie Lahr, Jeremy Vold, Tammy Barth, Carrie Barth, Sheryl Vold, Lori Rogers, Chad Entinger, Michael Entinger, Andy Entinger, Luke Entinger, Mel Lahr Jr., Peter Terry, Jill Entinger, and Russ Rogers.
