LeRoy George Hausladen
Mass Of Christian Burial for LeRoy George Hausladen, 76, of Winsted and formerly of Lester Prairie was held Saturday, Aug. 22, from the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Lester Prairie, 2 p.m., with the Rev. Martin Rath officiating.
Mr. Hausladen died on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1998, at St. Mary's Care Center, Winsted, at the age of 76 years, 10 months and five days.
Organist was Marie Eischens. The congregational hymns were "Amazing Grace" and "Beautiful Savior."
Pallbearers were Richard Lange, Rick Schroeder, Gene Hausladen, Gerald Hausladen and Dan Hausladen. Interment was in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Winsted
Mr. Hausladen was born Oct. 13, 1921 in Lester Prairie to Simon G. and Katherina (Weinzierl) Hausladen. He was baptized Oct. 30, 1921 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted, by the Rev. Andrew J. Rinke.
He graduated from the Lester Prairie High School. He had worked at his father's business, S.G. Hausladen Implement and Garage, and later for his brothers, R.R. Hausladen Implement and Garage.
Mr. Hausladen enjoyed his work and the chance to visit with the farmers and customers.
In January 1994, he became a resident at the St. Mary's Care Center in Winsted.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Helen Hausladen of Lester Prairie; niece, Jean Lange and husband, Richard, of Golden Valley; grandniece, Penny Schroeder and husband, Rick, of Brooklyn Park; as well as many cousins, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Reginald Hausladen.
