Clyde D. Hoenk
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 16, 1998 for Clyde D. Hoenk, age 95 of Watertown, formerly of St. Cloud. He died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998 at Elim Nursing Home in Watertown.
Clyde was born June 21, 1903 at Albuquerque, N.M., the son of Peter and Emma (LeSage) Hoenk. He was baptized in August 1904 in New Mexico, and confirmed Dec. 29, 1955 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.
On April 17, 1955, he married Adeline E. (Schoenke) Lohrke at St. Mark's Lutheran Church parsonage in New Germany by the Rev. Henry Weseloh.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Emma Hoenk; sisters, Florence Putnam and Elvira Krause; nephew, Douglas Krause; brothers-in-law, Paul Putnam, Bill Krause, Herb Schoenke, and Art Schoenke; sister-in-law, Elsie Kutzke; brother-in-law, Bill Kutzke; and sisters-in-law, Matilda and Agnes Schoenke.
He is survived by his wife Adeline; daughter and son-in-law, Lavonne and Orville Foust of Lester Prairie; grandchildren, Michael and Beth Foust, Ronald and Tamie Foust, Dennis and Julie Foust, Kathryn and Wade Baluski, Richard and Joanne Foust; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Anne, Crystal, Jenna, Heather, Jeffrey, Samantha, Nathan, and Megan; nephew, David Krause; niece and husband, Nancy and George Zender; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Watertown with the Rev. Paul Krentz officiating. Interment was at the Church of God Cemetery in Lester Prairie.
Casket bearers were Clyde's grandchildren: Michael Foust, Ronald Foust, Dennis Foust, Richard Foust, Kathryn Baluski, and Wade Baluski.
