Trevor Riley Hoheisel obituary 3/6/98

Trevor Riley Hoheisel, of Blaine, died Saturday, March
7, 1998 in Chicago, Ill.
Trevor’s life began Aug. 14, 1970 in Cedar, Minn. and his
journey included residences in Lanesboro, Moose Lake, Herman, Braham, Howard
Lake and Blaine, Minn. On his journey, Trevor touched the hearts of countless
people across the state of Minnesota.
Trevor graduated from Braham High School in 1988. He attended
St. Cloud State University for three years before enlisting in the Army
Reserves, where he excelled within the ranks of military intelligence. Trevor’s
last employer was C. W. Houle Construction, where he was under the supervision
of his friend and cousin, Randy Houle.
Trevor was a kind and compassionate man. He took care of
others, especially his little brother Brandon. Trevor accepted people as
they were and loved life by loving others. Family was priority #1 for Trevor,
as he would make his quiet, unannounced visits to different family members
just to talk and be near family and his countless infant and toddler cousins.

In Trevor’s jacket, when searching for clues to his disappearance,
we found a picture that his godson made for him. This exemplified how proud
he was of his family.
Trevor loved sports, as testament was his final journey
to Chicago to cheer on the Minnesota Gophers with plans to attend the Final
Four in the following weeks. Trevor was a player and a coach who understood
the intricacies and coaching strategies of every sport.
Trevor was an avid fisherman. He loved the outdoors, especially
with his “fishing buddy,” his dad and his Uncle Ryan.
Trevor is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond
and Jack.
He is survived by his parents, Riley and Lynn; his brother
and sister-in-law, Brandon and Jennie; his grandmothers, Josie and Luella;
stepfather Bob, and approximately 120 aunts, uncles and cousins.
Trevor did not always say much, but when he spoke, everyone
listened. Trevor, we hear and feel your happiness and love in your final
rest with God. Your quiet demeanor has shouted your love to all of us. We
love you son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
