Emma B. Meyer
Mass of Christian Burial was said on Friday, Nov. 27, 1998 for Emma B. Meyer, age 82 of Norwood Young America, who died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998 at Good Samaritan Center in Waconia.
Emma was born July 9, 1916 at Dahlgren Township, Carver County, Minn., the daughter of Michael and Barbara Dimler Klepperich. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Cologne, Minn.
On May 6, 1946, she married Wilbert A. Meyer at St. Mark's Catholic Church Rectory in Shakopee, Minn.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Barbara Klepperich; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Lucille Klepperich; sister, Mary Klepperich; brother-in-law, Clarence Buetow; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Simon and Paulina Meyer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ed and Linda Meyer and Cora and Irwin Kohls.
She is survived by her husband Wilbert; daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Roger Venske of Winsted; sister, Rose Buetow of Waconia; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Florence Klepperich of Chaska; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. from Ascension Catholic Church, Norwood Young America with the Rev. Paul C. Ardolf officiating. Interment was at National Cemetery, Fort Snelling, Minn.
Casket bearers were Richard Venske, Bruce Venske, Dennis Venske, Douglas Venske, Kenneth Venske, Donald Kuhnau, and Jeff Boehmke.
