Jerome Quast, age 69 of White Bear Lake, formerly of Winsted, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998 at his home.
Jerome was born on Aug. 21, 1929 at Winsted, the son of John B. and Mary Neumann Quast. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
On Feb. 5, 1955, Jerome was united in marriage to Mary Hambrick. He was employed in the St. Paul and White Bear Lake area.
Jerome is survived by his wife Mary; daughters, Kathleen, Maureen, and Mary Beth; sons, Kevin, Michael, Shawn, Jerome Jr., Chris, and David; brothers, Joseph of Elk River, Raphael of Winsted, James of Buffalo, and John of Michigan; sisters, Clarine Strauss of Winsted, Mercedes Nowak and Alma Ogitzak of Silver Lake, and Terese Hance of Big Lake; sister-in-law, Rosella Quast of Winsted; and brother-in-law Donald Schermann of Winsted.
Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Genny Schermann and Fidelia Schultz; brothers, William and David Quast; and brother-in-law, Ernest Schultz.
Mass of Christian Burial was on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, White Bear Lake, with interment in Fort Snelling Cemetery.
