Lloyd H. "Flap" Reilein, age 69, formerly of Glencoe, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at St. Mary's Care Center in Winsted, Minn.
Funeral services were Friday, March 27, 1998, at 2 p.m. at Dobratz-Hantge Chapel in Hutchinson with the Rev. Thor Skeie officiating. Organist was Shirley Holtz. Soloist Bonnie Baumetz sang "On Eagle's Wings" and "Borning Cry."
Lloyd was born on March 6, 1929, in Hutchinson, Minn. He was the son of Arthur and Theresa (Borth) Reilein. Lloyd was baptized as an infant. He received his schooling at Hutchinson High School. Lloyd served his country in the United States Army from 1946-1949.
Lloyd was a member of the Glencoe Veteran's of Foreign Wars and the Hutchinson American Legion. He worked at the Blue Note Ballroom in Winsted as a bartender. He enjoyed hunting pheasants, quail, and grouse.
Lloyd was residing in Glencoe before he became a resident at St. Mary's Care Center in Winsted.
Lloyd passed away Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at St. Mary's Care Center in Winsted at the age of 69 years.
Lloyd is survived by his sons, Keith Reilein and his wife Mary Jane of Hutchinson, Mike Reilein and his wife Beverly of Jacobson, Minnesota; daughters, Cindy Roufs and her husband Steven, of Winsted, Karen Ousky and her husband Bill of Ocho, Minn.; grandchildren, Dan, Keri, Becca, Hannah, Stephanie, Cassie, Shawna, Jenny, Sarah, and Josh; great-grandson, Jordon; brothers, Arthur Reilein and his wife Alice, William Reilein and his wife Bette, Leonard Reilein and his wife Charlene; sister, Lorraine Gordon and her husband Ray; Aunt, Rose Gotham and her husband Ron.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Theresa (Borth) Reilein; brothers, Clarence and Raymond Reilein; grandson, Jason Reilein.
