Terry Lee Remer
Terry Lee Remer, age 40 of St. Cloud and formerly of Waverly, died accidently on Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998 in St. Augusta Township, Stearns County.
He was born in Buffalo, March 20, 1958, the son of Walter F. and Mary Ann Berrum Remer.
Terry engaged in over-the-road truck driving for many years. He currently owned and operated the T & T Rapid Lube in Clearwater.
Terry loved the out-of-doors. He also was an avid snowmobiler who participated in many snowmobile races.
Terry is survived by his children; Jesse James Remer, Tanya Marie Remer, and Joshua Lee Remer; parents, Walter and Mary Ann Remer of Waverly; sisters and brothers: Pauline (Steve) Mayfield of Strang, Okla.; Laureen (Dan) Karnes of St. Cloud; Bonita Remer of Clear Lake; Michael Remer of Maple Lake; Mary Lou (Mark) Williams of Bartlesville, Okla.; Theodore Remer of Clear Lake; and Matthew Remer of Waverly; and his loving companion, Kris Kronenberg of St. Cloud.
He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.
Terry was preceded in death by an infant sister, Renee Remer, and by an infant brother, Stephen Remer.
A Mass of Christian Burial was said on Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, 10:30 a.m., at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly. The Rev. William F. Martin was the celebrant and interment followed at St. Mary's Cemetery.
A eulogy was given by Lee MacRae.
Friends called at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted on Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. and also at the church on Thursday, one hour prior to the Mass. There was a prayer service at the chapel on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
Casket bearers were Mike, Ted, and Steve Remer, Ron Shemon, Ray Hogrefe, and Todd Potter.
