Ida O. Schuette obituary 2/13/98


Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 16, 1998 for Ida
O. Schuette, age 90, New Germany, Minn. She died Friday, Feb. 13 at Elim
Nursing Home, Watertown, Minn..
Ida was born Nov. 27, 1907 at New Germany, the daughter
of Emil G. and Magdalena (Lemke) Domjahn. She was baptized at home Dec.
15, 1907 by the Rev. Theodore Rolf and confirmed by the same on March 20,
1921 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Germany.
On September 8, 1927 she was married to William P. Schuette
at St. Mark Lutheran Church by the Rev. Rolf. Ida was a member of St. Mark’s
Ladies Aid.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents,
a brother Herbert Domjahn, and a sister Hilma Karels.
Ida is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Myron and
Eldoras Schuette, Mayer; grandchildren Marlene and Bob Jopp, and Marilyn
and Larry Kassulker, all of Mayer; Mardonna Schuette, Owatonna; Renee and
Randy Jobb and Michael and Melissa Schuette, all of New Germany.
She is further survived by great-grandchildren Alan, Aaron,
Shari, Laura, Dawn, Adam, Sarah, Rachael, Beth, Breanna and Felicia; sister-in-law
Selma Strey, Lester Prairie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 2 p.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church
with the Rev. Jack E. Dahl officiating.
Casketbearers were Bob Jopp, Larry Kassulker, Randy Jopp,
Michael Schuette, Alan Jopp, Adam Jopp, and Aaron Jopp. Interment was in
the church cemetery.
