Irene Barbara Weller obituary 7/8/98


Irene Barbara Weller was born Nov. 30, 1937 to Frank and
Lillian B. (Votava) Warn in Vasa, Minn. after which the family moved to
Zumbrota in 1941. Six years later, the family moved to West St. Paul where
Irene graduated from Sibley High School.
She was married to Willard Weller on June 1, 1957. The
couple resided in Howard Lake and joined the Methodist Church. Irene was
secretary and treasurer for UMW, and also sang in the choir.
Irene passed away on July 8, 1998 at her home in Howard
Lake. She had reached the age of 60 years, 7 months, and 8 days. She is
survived by her husband Willard, daughter Gail (Doug) Bergstrom, and son
Scott (Brenda) Weller. Irene is further survived by four wonderful grandchildren;
Nicolle Bergstrom (14), Travis Bergstrom (10), Justin Weller (8), and Jeremy
Weller (6); as well as many friends and relatives.
Visitation was Friday, July 10, from 4 – 9 p.m. with a
prayer service at 7 p.m.
Services for Irene were Saturday, July 11, 1998, 10:30
a.m. at the Walker United Methodist Church in Howard Lake with the Rev.
Marvin Repinski officiating. Music was provided by Mildred Klarstrom, Bonnie
Seegmiller, and Mildred Williams.
Interment was at Sylvan Cemetery. Casket bearers were Matthew
Warn, Dan Boeson, Louis Boeson, Donald Boeson, Mark Hegge, John Hegge, and
Frank Bulock.
