Kevin Wenz-Schrafft obituary 5/1/98


Kevin Wenz-Schrafft, age 44 years of rural Howard Lake
died Friday, May 1, 1998 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
He was born in Minneapolis, March 5, 1954, the son of Duane
A. and Sally Ann Melin Wenz.
Kevin graduated from Rosemount High School in 1972 and
had been employed as a chef. He was also a great lover of music.
He is survived by his partner in life Stanton K. Anderson
of rural Howard Lake; step-father, Larry D., Schrafft, Richfield; brothers
Chris (Hilla) Schrafft of Tuscon, Ariz., Michael (Mike) Wenz of Austin,
Joell (Sandy) Wenz of Bloomington, Jeffrey (Mary) Schrafft of Lakeville;
sisters, Stacy (Randy) Schrafft of Fargo, N.D., and Beth Ann (Bob) Barber
of Bloomington.
Kevin is further survived by other relatives and by many
special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Kevin were Monday, May 4 at 1 p.m.
at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. The Rev. Del Kurtz officiated and interment
followed at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends called at the Peterson Chapel Sunday, May 3 from
6 – 8 p.m. and also on Monday one hour prior to the service.
Sandi Annis was the service’s organist. “Jesu, Joy
of Man’s Desiring” and “My God and I” were played as organ
solos.
Chris Schrafft, Joell and Michael Wenz, Robert Koepp, Jeffrey
Schrafft, and Kenneth Martineau served as the casket bearers.
