Wayne Roger Aase
Memorial services for Wayne Roger Aase, age 20 of Mankato and formerly of Lester Prairie, were Wednesday, June 14, 2000. Wayne died Friday, June 9, 2000, at his residence.
Wayne was born Aug. 27, 1979, in Minneapolis, the son of Michael Jannetta and LeAnn (Aase) Bosma. He attended and graduated from Lester Prairie High School and continued to live in Lester Prairie until approximately one year ago when he moved to Mankato.
Wayne enjoyed magic, football, hacky sack, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends.
At the time of his death, Wayne had reached the age of 20 years, nine months, and 12 days.
He is survived by his mother, LeAnn Bosma of Lester Prairie; father, Michael Jannetta of Deerwood, Minn.; a brother, Jeffrey Aase of California; his grandmother, LaDonna Esget of Minneapolis; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his grandfather.
Funeral services were Wednesday, June 14, 11 a.m., at the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel, Lester Prairie, with the Rev. Arnold Boich officiating.
Fred Blaser Jr., Jason Richardson, Derek Zillmer, Jesse Christianson, Kallen Budrow, and Dustin Jenniges served as bearers. Honorary bearers were Jeff Burkowske, Paul Zillmer, Larry Oelke, Greg Hamilton, James Richardson, and Fred Blaser Sr.
Visitation was Tuesday, June 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel, Lester Prairie.
